We toured The Oconee House Senior Living. All the people there were very nice. They were extremely nice on the phone and in person. All we did was go look at the rooms. We walked through the common areas, the dining room, and the kitchen, and everything seemed fine to me. It's an older place and kind of dated, but it was nice, clean, and well-kept. The staff was friendly and nice, and they were going out of their way to get my sister to have a room downstairs instead of upstairs. We met the cook, and he was a man who was also friendly and nice. The room was extremely large. It was a nice big room, and you could even bring your bedroom furniture if you wanted to.

Oconee House Senior Living was very quiet, the interior looked like that of a group home. Their staff was very nice, I saw the dining area and it looked nice. The staff is doing a good job and the place itself was great.

The rooms in Oconee House are a bit small, and residents have to share bathrooms, so we didn't like that. They have a door that leads to a back porch or deck, but they told us they didn't want anyone going out to it because it's not safe. It's not blocked, so that made me feel a little uncomfortable. The people were very friendly and very nice. The dining area looked very nice and they have an open area, plus the one deck they can sit out on also looks nice. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and knowledgeable.

My brother lives in Oconee House Senior Living. I notice that the staff is friendly and caring. Their food was prepared very well. My brother's room is adequate. It is not really big but he has a bed, a couple of dressers, chairs and TV. On the other hand, I guess they don't plan many activities for their residents. I do think that the place is safe and secured.
