I will not recommend West minster Commons the staff here are unprofessional, rude , and disrespectful. My grandfather was here and he did not like his stay . I had multiple incidents with the staff. They act like they did not want to be there . DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS PLACE! My grandad has been through a lot and came a very long way and he is very much loved. So I encourage whoever is reading this do not put your loved in this place . Your loved one will be unhappy and depressed and you will be unsatisfied. My grandad ended back up in the hospital because someone did not do their job correctly.

This place is awful. There is no designated parking for visitors so be prepared to walk a bit. There aren't designated visiting hours which is cool except not matter the hour, there is almost never anyone at the front desk to buzz you in OR out of the building. Once you get in, you are greeted with the smell of pure urine. The Ma's are generally nice but management is all over the place. There doesn't seem to be enough staff for the amount of patients which leaves several helpless people sitting in their own filth. There are no locks on any of the doors nor is there a true separation of males and females. This can be particularly scary as people can wander in and out of a patients rooms without permission at any hour. Every time I have ever been here, several patient's call buttons are going off and none of the staff ever seem in a rush to find out what for. Once my family member had a seizure and we pressed the button for help and ended up having run around the building looking for help. Clothing is constantly being stolen from patients and there isn't a good system to prevent it. cleanliness is abysmal and the food is worse. I honestly feel terrible that anyone would be sent here and believe that it should be investigated for the treatment of the patients. Never take your loved one here.8

My mom needed the care already and I can't do it. The waiting list in the other facility was too long so I opted for Westminster Commons. The staff were approachable, friendly and they took good care of her. She was in a shared room with two more residents but it was clean and spacious. They also had arts and crafts. My mother seemed happier there than in the previous facility. I would commend this place to others.
