My parents moved in. They have activities like games, bingo, and an area outside that has an actual garden so they can plant what they like. What stands out to me is that the rooms are larger even though it's an older place. It's also a large community, so there's a lot of people to talk to. They don't have things that modern senior places have, they only have the basics, like outdoor sidewalks, and an outdoor courtyard with benches and chairs where you can walk around. They also have a game room, community rooms with a big TV, and conference rooms.

Just when you thought life by the Chattahoochee couldnt get any better, Charter Senior Living of Vinings has raised the bar. Great scenery is just the start. Weve also instilled a new philosophy on senior living, as fresh as the morning breeze while in the rocking chairs of one of our three courtyards overlooking the Atlanta skyline. See, to us youre not a senior, youre a hero. Youve fulfilled your obligations to your job and raising kids, but you havent stopped living. We believe the best part of your life is yet to come.
We have two living options under one roof.
Assisted Living is ideal for residents who value their independence, but may need assistance with daily activities. Our community team members are raving fans of encouraging independence with assistance readily accessible at all times of the day.
Memory Care is for our residents who are living with some form of cognitive disability. Every member of our team is NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified. That includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. This allows us to interact with our residents as unique individuals rather than objects in need of care.

Charter Senior Living of Vinings was nice. The tour we had in their memory care went very well. The place was extremely nice. They have a good-looking menu, as far as food goes, and they get choices where they can order off the menu anytime they want. Plus, they have meals served and snacks. There's a small courtyard and an activity area. It just wasn't as active as the other one we chose.

I just didn't like the tour that we had at Charter Senior Living of Vinings. I felt like there was a lot of maintenance that needed to be done. The lady said that they were going to do a revamp, but it looked a little rundown to me. The person giving the tour was nice, but I didn't think she was super professional. I just didn't get a warm feeling. I didn't like the rooms. They weren't terrible, but they weren't very big. They just seemed like they needed some work done on them and they were like very small hotel rooms.

It was a nice assisted living, and our visit was very pleasant and very informative. The one-room apartment had a bed, shower and a little kitchen. They had a list of activities, and the dining area was very nice, spacious and beautifully decorated.

It was very nice and more of a hotel experience. It had at least two stories. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were smaller but newer. It was more of a studio. They had plenty of activities and amenities. It was a little farther, but it was in a place we were around a lot.

I have placed my sister here. It is the best that I have seen anywhere. It is a clean facility. It is a nice location. The staff is nice. The dining room is nice. They have outdoor cookout. Because they are clean, there is no urine odor. It is just a nice place. It also looks better than the other place I go to. The staff is nice. They are courteous to me and to her. They have the room redecorated for her. They are being good to her so far.

I really love this community, but it was too far from friends and relatives to visit. When I drove up, it was like a resort more than a retirement home - very beautiful landscaping. It's pretty much a newer facility, beautiful foyer entry way. It had a look of a grand hall. Even the laundry room was clean. There was a courtyard in the back and it was also fenced. All the rooms were very nice, very well done and good sized. The staff were very friendly.

We would have liked it, but the trouble was the location. It's about 45 minutes from my house. I was in the impression it was nice. The room seemed nice enough and the price was more competitive. The staff was very friendly. One thing about them is that they seem to put a higher premium on physical therapy, because my dad needs therapy. They have in-house therapy staff. The commitment to therapy was a little bit better.

It is a nice facility. My mother in-law’s room is great. I’m very pleased with the staff. They seemed to be very attentive to the residents and they provide good meals. They let you know if there is anything unusual that happened. They have Bingo, Scrabble and entertainers come in. I do a worship service there once a week.

We looked at a one-bedroom apartment and it was very small. There also was no kitchen whatsoever. There was a small under-the-counter refrigerator and a microwave but there was no place for cooking. The front desk people were very courteous both when I called up and when I went there for a quick tour. My wife and I were looking for a senior housing as opposed to a place that provided any kind of care. We haven't reached that stage yet, but basing on my visit there, I would give them a good rating.

My father stayed at here before he passed away. It was a very nice place with a very positive environment. There was a walking trail for the residents to walk around. The residents could participate in different areas or activities which I liked. The staff were very good with my dad, I did not see anything negative about them. I had no negative comments with the facility.
