The caregivers were exceptional and went out of their way to make my dad comfortable. They were patient with him, and helped find the right meds to help with his agitation. They even encouraged him to participate in the activities, which he was not fond of at first. But they kept asking him each day to attend, and they never gave up. The facility is amazing, and has lots of space for the residents to walk, inside and outside. That was my dad's favorite thing to do, be outside and walk. The food was good too, I spent a few meals there with my dad and he was always happy with his options.

As my sister's caregiver I couldn't be more pleased with Arden Courts. Arden has been a gift from God. My sister has Alzheimer's dementia and was evicted from her previous SNF. She was showing aggressive combative behaviors that were unmanageable by them. Anyone that has experienced an eviction of a loved one from a SNF knows the overwhelming pain and anguish one feels. Aside from the pain and confusion they cause to the loved one. Arden Courts welcomed us. As the leaders and experts that they are with dementia, they said they could help my sister and bring her back to the jovial, loving person she truly was. And they did! Her meds were adjusted. A great staff, excellent team of doctors and nurses, and a wonderful caring culture with lots of activities to keep their residents engaged. At Arden my sister has found her new home and is happy again. Also, I have found a support group for myself which they also offer online. At Arden they treat the residents as well as the family members as family. I find they are a leader in their industry. When it comes to dementia care, they truly understand their residents and it shows!

Our mother, recently passed, was a resident for 2 years in this facility on hospice care. She had frontal lobe dementia and a variety of other ailments. She was in a rough state when first admitted, combined with the facility still observing Covid protocols. It was a hard time for us all. Over the past 2 years our mother was stabilized and given wonderful care. The staff at Arden Calourts are well trained and very professional. They treat their residents with dignity and respect. All residents are understood and loved, given the range of deficits and struggles they face. The facility is pleasant, quaint, clean and friendly. It is always beautifully decorated. This has been a very difficult journey for our family and we did not always cope well. We too were always received with grace, care and respect. We do not have sufficient words to fully express our gratitude for all that the staff at Arden Court has done in service to our mom. God bless you all. C. Duryea C. Massi

Deciding to place my wife Judy in a Memory Home was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. Deciding to place her in Arden Courts turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made. I was Judy’s care partner for six years and reached the point that I could no longer give her the care she needed. Like many family members caring for someone with Dementia, I felt I was abandoning her, that she would problem stay in her room and call out for me. I feel so fortunate that the reverse is true. She joins in on the wonderful programs Arden provides and is cared for by a competent, loving staff, many of whom have worked at Arden for years. Arden has a liberal visitation schedule. I see Judy several times a week and take her out of the home once a week for a drive, lunch or picnic, finishing off with her favorite ice cream. If you’re looking for a safe home for your loved one with a wonderful staff, administrative and care givers, you will get that at Arden Courts in Winter Springs.

My father has dementia, not as severe as some, but it was hard for my husband and I to take care of him. I was extremely hesitant about placing him at Arden Courts of Winter Springs. My sisters and I read many reviews and decided to visit. The facility is lovely. Each resident has his/her own room and bathroom (no shower in room). The residents are all assisted with baths. They are also, if necessary, assisted to the dining room. There is a very nice community room and they have many activities both clinical and. social. The facility is well maintained and extremely clean. We decided to place our father on a trial basis. That was last year. He is still there, well adjusted and is doing very well. I no longer have reservations. You will not find a better staff anywhere. They are great. I recommend this facility with no reservations.

My husband is currently a resident here (May 2019) and so far, I can report that the experience has been terrific. The staff turnover is low resulting in a very caring staff that seems to know all of the residents. The wide variety of activities keeps my husband very busy and engaged - this is important to me because he is in his early 60s and physically young and healthy except for his dementia. The community was built in the 1990s so it could use some cosmetic updating, but that is easily overlooked because it is always spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. The staff also does a fantastic job communicating with the resident's family through its Guardian Angel program. I like the small size, only 60 residents, and feel it helps the resident not feel lost, either. Overall, I am so pleased to have my husband in this place where I know he receives excellent care.

We placed my husband in Arden Courts last July, however, he recently passed away. I would highly recommend it. They were so patient with him, they knew my name, always greeted me right away, and would tell me where my husband was and what he was doing. The facility was very open, very comfortable, and they had an outdoor area that wrapped around 3/4 of the building. The doors to the outside are always open, but were gated and fenced. It had a homey feel, the common room was very nice and large. Their calendar of activities was all geared for dementia and Alzheimer's residents. The entryway was not too big, but functional. The food was really wonderful, and they always had snacks available. It was more expensive than other facilities, but it was all worth it.

My mother was at Arden courts for almost 1 year. It was a hard desicion for my father and I to make but it was the best desicion for my mother. The staff and facility was the best. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Loving and caring for everyone there. Sadly enough my mother pasted but I still visit and keep in contact with the staff. We are family.

My husband was at Arden Courts at one time, and I thought it was really good. The actual surroundings and the building were nice, and the whole thing was run very well. They had a lot of activities, like exercise, entertainment, bingo, and other things. They had a nice, big backyard that they can walk in. I didn't have any complaints, but my husband broke his leg and had to be taken out and go to rehab. We are not taking him back because they do not allow rails on the beds.

Arden Courts has a homey environment, not institutional or hospital-like, and does not smell. All the rooms are private and adequate. There are community and activities rooms with a lot of activities, like musicians who come in, trivia games, and arts and crafts. They occasionally have outings for the residents. It’s the best that I have found for my sister.

Arden Courts was a locked down facility for Alzheimer’s and dementia. They did an excellent job and do social development. It was clean. They kept everybody sort of busy, and it had good security. My mother-in-law was a resident there. They had several community rooms. I had eaten there, and the food was quite good. I was impressed with their professionalism. For someone who has dementia and Alzheimer’s, that’s the place to be.

My mother is at Arden Courts. It has been excellent. They have succeeded my expectations. So far, so good. They have single rooms in assisted living and memory care. The food and social recreations are both excellent. There are four wings, there is a small dining room in each wing, and then there is a main dining room. There are activities from 9 to 7 everyday.

I would have loved to put my mom at Arden Courts but they didn't had the diversion program for medicare or medicaid. I liked it because it was clean and the people were very friendly. I toured the whole facility and the rooms were very nice. They showed me the activities that they do and they seemed to have more one-on-one activities. They showed me the courtyard that they could go out to. They have a really good reputation in the area and it's recommendable.
