My mother moved to Discovery Village in November 2020, and has been happy so far. There have been bumps along the way, some due to a change in management, but a lot that is probably due to challenges of running an ALF during a pandemic. The facility is clean, and the staff is friendly; maintenance issues are handled very quickly. There has been a bit of staff turnover, and the pool was closed for months waiting for repairs, but things seem to be stabilizing. I would give 5 stars if not for the few issues, and some of those probably are not the fault of the facility. A friend's father moved into a nearby facility at about the same time, and it is more expensive, but he still has some complaints, so I guess those problems exist anywhere. Overall, I would recommend Discovery Village.

We went to Discovery Village at Palm Beach Gardens. The location of the property felt isolated, which would be secure, but I found it a little unwelcoming. It was far from the town, but it appeared safe. The staff seemed attentive and cordial. The residents were engaging in morning exercise and arts and crafts. The resident ambassador took the time to review the day's activities with us and our family member. The resident ambassador helps orient new residents, which I thought was a good touch.

The Discovery Village was very nice, although it was a little on the formal side. The staff was very friendly. We saw a few apartments that were very small and had washers and dryers in the units.

We found that Discovery was very neat and clean, with very receptive people who were very generous in their conversation. We had a meal there, and it was very good. They had a nice swimming pool, and I liked the layout of the place. All the rooms were really adequate to the sun. It was within easy driving distance. It was out in the open area and was easy to get to. The people were very nice. The rooms were very nice. Nice dining, nice bar, good fireplace, and just an all-around nice place.

Discovery Village is brand new; it’s just opened. It’s quite nice in a good location. I like the price and the value.
