My dad moved to Sodalis Vero Beach. It had a very inviting and homey atmosphere. It was clean, with very friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, and wonderful food. The residents looked happy, healthy, and like they were thriving. They had friends and family nights. They had both physical and occupational therapy. They had a covered porch with wicker seating and benches to draw people out of their rooms. The staff was very personable, knowledgeable, and welcoming. They treat each resident as an individual, as opposed to just a job. It's a very expensive endeavor. You get what you pay for, and the fact that they accept Medicaid, which helps defray the cost, was a huge help for our family.

I like that Sodalis Vero Beach was more family-orientated. Everybody treated me special. They took care of my needs. They were very interested and in detail as to what I wanted. They gave me their advice, which I found very, very helpful. I found the facilities to be excellent. The whole area is neat, tidy, and well-maintained. The dining room looks very, very nice. The apartment is a single deluxe. And it's very nice and spacious. I have to provide the furniture, which I understand. Once I get finalized with them, I will buy furniture for my mother. They're going to do the assisted living first and see how my mother's memory is, and then if she needs memory, I will switch her to memory care. The staff was very nice. She didn't rush me out the door. She spent a lot of time with me, and it was very, very nice. She introduced me to some of the staff. And the lady who would be evaluating my wife, and was very nice. She spent a lot of time with me and she's a caring lady. And I felt very comfortable with the staff taking care of me. When I went around the place, they had a movie theater with chairs and popcorn and everything. I thought it was very clean, neat, and tidy. The hallways were neat. The dining room was spotless.

I really like that Sodalis Vero Beach's rooms are so nice, light, and airy. I like the dining area and the activities. I saw some residents participating in activities, so that was nice to see. The only thing that raised a little concern as we were touring the main areas is that I kept being told that, "We're under renovations, and this couch is going to be replaced next week, or these cushions will be replaced next week," room after room. So as far as the going in for a tour, you don't really know if that's accurate, or if they say that every week or during tours. I only talked to three staff members, but they were all very polite and professional. They have a lot of acreage there. I also like that they have an in-house rehab that people can have their rehab through their Medicare actually right there onsite. And they have an additional exercise room also for the residents.

I liked Sodalis Vero Beach and I liked the woman who conducted the tours, but I wasn't crazy about the building itself. It seemed a little dated and I didn't get to interface with any residents. They had a separate dining room for us. The food was good but I'm at a point where a lot of the amenities are the same. For me, I look at how the building feels and how the residents appear, and Sodalis Vero Beach was OK, but it's not top of the list for me. The rooms were OK. They only have kitchenettes. The staff was very nice.

Sodalis Vero Beach was very, very nice, and they were very, very accommodating. The facility was very clean and the tour was awesome. I wasn't able to sample the food, but I asked some of the residents how the food was, and most of them said that it was very, very good. Faviola was awesome and very funny. We had a good time.

My husband has moved into Sodalis Vero Beach. I chose this community because the pricing was better than others. It was more affordable. Some of the women that work there are very, very dedicated, and I get a feeling that they care, that it's more than just a job to them. Right now, some are people are in more advanced stages of memory care needs. My husband is earlier in that process, so he doesn't have people that he can converse with, but the staff spend time with him and talk to him. They play bingo a couple of times a week and they may have some music. I just think for him, he's surrounded by people that are much further along, and maybe if it had people that were not as deep into the disease, they may be able to do more. But I think they're doing the best they can with what they have right now. My husband's room is roomy. He got his own stuff in there, like his bed from home and things like that. He has a TV. Their system is you bring in whatever you want for them, so I would say he's comfortable. He can control the warmth or coolness of the room because there's a unit in each room, which is good for him. After all, he likes it very, very warm, so he can do that. And there's a bathroom in the room, so it's certainly adequate. I have not tried the food, but I have been there with my husband when he has his meals, but he is not at all happy with the food. And because of that, he's not eating as much as he used to. He may eat a part of the meal and then say no. So I bring him food frequently to make sure he's still getting food. I think the food is very bland and he's used to eating at home and I love to cook, so there's a big contrast. They're pretty good, but I think they have still room to improve. Some of the staff members are amazing, and others are there just because they need a job. And you can see the difference in the way they interact. My husband's bathroom needs to be re-tiled. They know it and they tell me that they're going to put it in an order for maintenance to take care of it, but maintenance hasn't taken care of it. So I would say that they could improve in that area. I feel like we pay too much money for what we get.

My mother has been here for several years and now the recent buyout. Promises made that nothing will change. Lies. Run away. Cut medical staff. Cutting more services and quality daily while raising rates. Less food options and poorer quality. Activities now a joke. Good employees overworked doing multiple jobs and leaving. We are looking to move her. It is also showing its age. Was nice once. Typical corporate takeover.

Sodalis Vero Beach was a much older crowd than us. They gave us lunch, and the food wasn't very good. So we crossed that one off our lists. The physical appearance of the community was very old. It looked clean. The staff who toured us was very nice. She was very caring about what we needed. When we had something to say about it, she was like, 'I understand that you're not going to choose this community, but if you need any help or anything, just give me a call. I like you, too, and I want to help you to find a place.' So she was very, very nice. The food wasn't very good. It was cold. It just wasn't a good experience. Their eating area was very poor, and it was very old. The tables had stains on them. I didn't get a very good feeling about it. It needs updating. The rooms were nice size though.

Sodalis Vero Beach was pretty, but I just didn't feel like it was very personal. It was more than what we could afford and I didn't see a lot of activities. The dining room looked great. They were eating. I got to see that when I was there. The food aspect of it didn't look very nice and I just didn't like the hotel feel of it. I only met the one woman who gave me the tour and she was very friendly and sweet. I don't know if I felt very drawn to it based on her. It was very pretty and some people prefer that type of setting. I just didn't.

The tour we had at Sodalis Vero Beach was great. The only thing was they needed updating on their furniture. Their furniture was very old-fashioned and depressing looking. The amenities were fine, but the place looked very sad. The staff was very nice, and she also agreed that the place needed some updating. I saw the menu, which was nice. They had a library and a game room.

I liked Sodalis Vero Beach. I think my mother would be happy there. The people are very friendly. The residents were very nice. It's very clean and well-kept. I liked that the residents have the freedom to sit outside if they like (of course that's right on campus). It's nice. They have a bus that takes them places and things. It's very, very pretty, very nice to look at, and just very well groomed. It did not have an odor of any kind. It smells very nice there. It's very pretty. The woman I talked to was very knowledgeable, very well-dressed, and very well-spoken. She knew what she was talking about. The other staff members I saw walking around were very friendly, very kind, and eager to help. I saw some plates of some residents that had it on the table, and the food looked very nice. It's just a great place.

I went to Sodalis Vero Beach to visit my mother. The care by people who work in memory care are some of the finest, nicest, caring people I've met at any of these establishments. They're excellent. The facility has always been clean and nice. I have tried their food and it's fair, (it's not gourmet cooking). Tomorrow night, they're having a gambling night where each facility is going to be able to gamble roulette, poker, blackjack, and all that stuff. That's just one thing. There's a lady there that gets them out, too. They also do Velcro-type dart games, they bowl, they do puzzles, and they play games. They just got some old games that relate to them, like Operation Game.

We went to tour here. Everybody was very welcoming, including the residents that were around. Everybody made sure that they were saying hello to us as we were walking in. They didn't know if we were guests or what we were. Everybody really engaged with you. One of the things also that we really liked was it was a little bit on the smaller scale. It seems like things are closer to you and they had more safety features in place. We went into one of the rooms in the assisted living, plus the staff took us up to where the nurse's station was. She showed us what was available, which we appreciated. My mother said numerous times after we left, "I was so impressed with Cameron." She was very forthcoming with information that we may need. There are other questions that you're going to have later on, and she brought those things up. A couple of the residents were getting ready to go in for lunch and they were saying the food was really good. They wanted to be there. We were very impressed with it. They have the therapy on hand, and the room to be able to exercise and to gain strength. They had several activities, and they're spread out in different locations, so you're not bunched up on one another. You can tell that the residents are really using those things. It was inviting to go do it. They had a salon, a gym, a library where you could borrow books going back and forth, and a lovely area to sit to do that. WiFi was available there at that spot. They had an ice cream parlor and two different places where people play card games. They had billiards, darts, and a big outdoor courtyard where they do cookouts from time to time, and have live bands out there so that people can enjoy being outdoors as well. They had bus transportation to take you on schedule to different stores, to activities, and to doctors' appointments. They had in-house availability for a nurse practitioner and such.

I like them the best. They were more personable. The lady was really helpful. Even though we couldn't use her facility, she did offer help on one of their sister companies that could help us with the nursing home elsewhere. The room was very clean. Everybody seemed to be friendly and knowledgeable. The room was with a small refrigerator and a microwave. They had the same amenities like games, a place to play games, movie nights, and outside areas. The dining room was pretty nice. It was more like a restaurant type. The staff was great.

Our experience at Solaris Senior Living Vero Beach was amazing. It was light and bright. The residents looked happy. They were active and moving around. It was very clean. The staff member was wonderful. She was very caring and listened to us. She had suggestions, didn't rush us at all, and gave us a lot of information so that there would be no secrets (kind of). She wanted us to know everything. I saw the menu on the wall, on the blackboard. It was varied, and there were a lot of choices. What I was impressed with were the people weren't just sitting in the hallway. They had music. They had somebody putting on a concert, and there were people in there. There was a lady in the room making puzzles. People were around back and forth. Everyone we came in contact with was smiling and pleasant. The staff seemed very professional.

My husband is here. It's a very nice place, and the people who worked there are very friendly. It looked very nice, everything looked clean, and it's 10 mins from my home. His room is very big, it's very nice, it's for two people, but he's in there by himself, and it's furnished. They played bingo, they have music, people come in to play music, and have movies for them.

It was nice and spacious, and everything was good and fine. We were going to move in, but we decided to move to Texas. The dining room was nice and big, and the rooms were of good size. The staff seemed to be helpful. They posted the activities throughout the week for everybody to see.

What I like about it for my dad is the attention given by the staff to the residents. I like the overall appearance and the cleanliness of the place. His apartment is a one-bedroom apartment. They also have two-bedroom apartments. It's very nice. Their food is excellent. They have a lot of activities for their residents.

It is very, very nice. It is adequate, and they take care of you from head to toe, so you can't ask for anything more. They take you shopping and to picnics, you get to eat if you so desire, and within the daily activities there is always something going on. The important situation is, when you get in here the only way you get out is by bus to go to the places that I just described, and it is a little confining, but beyond that it is fine. The way they take care of the residents is the one thing about this place that stands out to me.
