The care that my mom received at Brookdale Vero Beach South was wonderful. The staff was very nice. It was a little bit older, but they were in the process of renovating, and that was right during COVID. I liked the bedrooms, though. It was like a little apartment with a little kitchenette, a little living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They have a lot of activities, like exercises, storytelling, music, and games like cornhole or bingo.

I toured Brookdale Vero Beach South. It's small and it's only assisted living, and people were friendly, so it was nice. I think they had a mini refrigerator, and you would have to bring in all your own furniture. The staff was very knowledgeable and did a great job.

We toured Brookdale Vero Beach South. I found the whole community very nice. Everybody there, as far as the personnel and the residents, were very helpful and very friendly. The whole place was very clean. It was just a very nice community. I would recommend it to anybody. We didn't try the food, but we saw the food and it looked good. The apartment was very large. The bathroom was very nice. We looked at the memory care center and the regular assisted care center, and they were both very nice. They showed us the courtyards and then the regular outside space, which was very nice. We saw the activity center, the dining room, and the actual rooms. We toured the whole facility.

When I visited Brookdale Vero Beach South, I wasn't able to speak to the person that could give me any information as to how much it would be to stay there or any of that stuff. The person that showed me around was the head of maintenance. He was very, very polite and very nice, but the pricing was out of his area. The rooms were very nice and very clean. They have a refrigerator and a little microwave. It's like a little kitchenette-type thing, but they just do most of the cooking in the main dining room area. It's a 42-bed facility. The rooms go all the way around the circle and the courtyard is in the center.

I toured Brookdale Vero Beach South. It was a very nice facility. They were very friendly as you walked in. When I was there, there was some singing going on. The studios were very nice, the staff showed me some studios. They have a family-oriented room and there was a library, a place for them to read. The facility was well maintained.

I like Brookdale Vero Beach South until they got very aggressive trying to get me to sign. They're like offering me, 'If you sign now, we'll take this much off and we'll take that much off,' and that turned me off because I'm not buying a car, it is for health care for a family member and that I felt was a little bit too aggressive and I didn't care for that. The tour was good. The person who showed me around was very nice. They had a microwave, a small refrigerator, a sink, and just some cabinets for the kitchen in the room. They had an area that they set up to watch movies, and they had a room where you could play games in there. There were different spaces to play cards and stuff like that.

We visited Brookdale Vero Beach South. We hit it just before lunchtime, and there was a lot of activity. It looked like the patients there, the clientele, were being taken care of. It was fairly clean, and the facilities were in good shape. The gal that took us on the tour was very thorough. She did a good job of explaining and answering all our questions. They have assisted living up front, and they've got memory care in the back; we looked at both facilities. They did kind of a preliminary review, and they suggested that my wife would be going to assisted living. That would be a good place for her, for now. There were two people on the tour, and they were both very good. They did offer, they were having lunch, but we didn't have time for that. The people were lined up to go have lunch. It must be OK. They have a courtyard. I wasn't aware of any balconies. I thought everything was one floor. We didn't go up any stairs or elevator or anything like that, but they did have a courtyard, and it was well-maintained.

Brookdale Vero Beach South was fine, but it was a little more care than mom needed at the time. The people were worse off than she was for the most part, but the facility itself was nice and the staff was very friendly. They didn't offer independent living. The rooms were small but nice. The amenities seemed fine. Their dining area was under construction when I was there. They had games like bingo.

I didn't realize at first that Brookdale Vero Beach South is a locked-down community. They have to ring the bell to enter and get out. They have a courtyard, but to go out on the outside, you literally have to have permission. The rooms were very clean and nice, but it really was one room with a bed, and you can put a TV and maybe a chair, but that's it. It actually is a very clean and nice-looking community, but my mother doesn't need as much assistance as most of the residents there. The person who gave us the tour was very nice. The only other thing is that they didnt seem to have that many activities, maybe because of the severity of a lot of their residents' dementia.

We have found a place for my sister, and that is Brookdale South in Vero Beach. It’s small and personal, and the people are very caring. They have studios and 1 bedrooms. They do have transportation to grocery stores and to doctors’ appointments.

My mother's experience at Brookdale Vero Beach South was good, but she was only there two days and she fell. She had been in the emergency room and was placed in a nursing home. She was in a room at Brookdale, and it was a great room. The food was good. The place was good, but mom just was not ready for it. The staff was very good. The people looked a little bored, but it was very calm and a little slow.

Brookdale Vero Beach is wonderful. The only problem I am having is in the housekeeping department. I just cleaned my mother-in-law's apartment because it was so bad. And this is the second time I have brought to their attention that the cleaning of her apartment is disgusting. I am also a housekeeper in a hospital environment, so I am pretty picky, but the normal person would agree with me. That's my only complaint; other than that, my mother-in-law is the happiest, sanest, and soundest of mind that she has been in two or three years. They have Bingo, Be fit, and get-together singing times that she enjoys very much. They do have bus trips to the stores, and they have the surprise trips where they don't know where they are going. It is very low-key activity wise, but this is what we wanted and what she needed.

Sterling house was a nice and clean facility, but their rooms were really small. They were 350 square feet. For one person, it might be OK, but we had our mom and dad. Everybody was really nice. The food was also nice. The dining area was smaller, but nice. The whole facility was smaller than the one that we chose.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to share your thoughts about our community. We realize that our rooms are smaller than many expect. Most of our residents are downsizing, which can be a difficult transition. They do not need as many items in our setting, as we provide many items and activities!

Sterling House has a caring staff and is clean and well maintained. The residents seemed a little more sedate (not sedated!) than I expected. My mother-in-law would probably be more comfortable where the people are a bit more lively. There were some activities on the premises but not a lot. It's in a pretty setting and is furnished nicely.

Sterling House in Vero was nice, and everything was clean. It was more like a home. The rooms looked a little more like an apartment instead of one big room, and they had a kitchenette. I loved it. We had lunch there, and it was terrific also. The food was delicious and served very nicely. I could eat lunch there every day. The staff was fantastic and absolutely wonderful. They were very warm, and it was like they knew you already. The only thing was that the more care you needed, the more money you had to pay.

They can't seem to get the billing straight. I had to ask multiple times for something to be done for my family member. They are understaffed, and have only 2 aids on duty at night, for 40 residents. They seem to have a high employee turnover rate. They have many activities scheduled, but probably half of them don't actually happen.

Everything looked pretty good at Sterling House of Vero Beach. The facility is clean and the price is reasonable. They offer movies, board and word games, and all kinds of different things.

Sterling House is very nice and clean. I chose it because it is near to where I live and the cost is cheaper. The staff is very helpful. The have a lot of entertainment and they have field trips. The food is good and they prepare personalized food for her because she needs soft foods. It is within five miles from a big hospital.

We went for a tour at Sterling House of Vero Beach. It is a very nice place. It is a small place with only about 23 residents. The rooms were really small. The place is clean and in order. The lobby and the dining room is very nice. The place was nice, but just definitely not what he needs now.

A friend and neighbor at our condo had her grandmother there. The people were very nice and friendly. We were very pleased with what we saw. They had card games there but that's probably not what my step mother would participate in because she's nearly blind and she can't really take part in those kinds of things. They have very nice rooms and apartments.

I visited Sterling house for a Seminar that they were giving on Senior care. The grounds were very nice and the lobby was furnished in a way that made the room bright and cheery. I like Sterling, but it was a bit pricey. I do go their seminars whenever they notify me that they are having one.
