My friend is in Atlantic Health and Rehabilitation now and they are so good. I like their honesty. It's an immaculate facility. They have nice and caring people and excellent food. I wouldn't hesitate to put anybody there. Everything is outstanding. There's an open area in the front and I see people reading and doing puzzles and things like that. They also have televisions.

This place is horrible i would not recommend it to any one. I found bugs in my dads bed more than once. He was there for weeks before they finally gave him a bath after numerous request. Very rude and uncaring workers. The head nurse Carol was great and he loved Yevette and nurse Sarah and Tammy, I heard and witnessed more than i wanted to I heard a worker curse at one of the patience when i reported it i guess they didn't believe me because nothing happened. My dad needed liquids so he would have tomato soup with every meal more than once he got his soup straight out of the can it was cold and no water added to it i would have to take it to the dinner room and fix it up myself, They always acted like you were putting them out if you ask for some thing. My dad was smart he knew to grin and bare it or it would just be worse. He had family members there everyday thank God. And if you have a problem don't waste your time going to the administrator he doesn't care all he cares about is a paycheck. When i went to him with some issues all he had to say is and i wish people would pay their bills. Excuse me really. I could write book on the horrible care my loved one got, Think twice there is many other places.

Atlantic Healthcare Center was where my neighbor was before. They are very clean and very efficient, and the nurses and nurse’s aides seemed to be very caring. They have good physical therapy and very good speech therapy. The food was fair to good. They have numerous little things going on. They have a calendar that lists all the activities. They take them in their wheelchairs and bring them to the dining room. They had bingo, sing-along, and religious services. On St Patrick’s Day, they had a little St Patrick’s parade where everybody paraded around wearing green. They had cookouts and parties. The room that my neighbor was in was a double room. I will say the laundry was not very good. They did get your clothes mixed up with other people’s clothes. You have to label everything to get it back, and even then, it did get mixed up. That was really the only bad thing I can say.

Although through unfortunate circumstances, I have had the blessing in the past 6 months of having the care of Atlantic Health Care for each of my parents. In November, each of my elderly parents had falls separately that landed them in rehab with overlapping dates. Not only was the staff at Atlantic healthcare genuinely concerned for them they showed compassion for the family for the fact that suddenly both parents were in that situation, one after the other. They both had wonderful care and were home in time for us to enjoy them at home for Christmas. Unfortunately, my father had another fall and further decline earlier this year. He has now been at Atlantic Healthcare for about 4 weeks. The staff there is so good to him and is much appreciated. My father has many detailed and specific needs and requires extra attention and time on the part of much of the staff. We, as a family, give kudos to the nurses that care for him with patience daily, the wound care nurse for assuring improvement on crucial concerns, the CNAs that meet his many specific needs with compassion and empathy and the dietician/dietary staff that work to meet his individual requirements and best they can. My father can not speak highly enough about his therapy experience and has improved from someone with whom we were unsure of spending many more days to a man who will likely return home and enjoy more life experiences with his bride of 65 years, which is a blessing to all of us children. We appreciate all that their care has offered for our parents.

My mother was in another town and fell and broke her femur bone in two places. After surgery we transported her back home to vero beach. Before we even left . Atlantic went right to work making all the preperations for her arrival . Because her insurance was very difficult to work with Tina and Jane made it possible for her to be admitted . we were extremely great full for their dedication to patients. My mom can be a little high maintenence. She was so impressed by the care she received. She had glowing recommendations every day. The rehab team was patient kind and encouraging . When it was time for her discharge they even provided loaner durable medical equipment until hers was delivered. I have personally worked in the senior market and with medical providers for years. I would feel extremely comfortable recommending Atlantic Rehab to everyone. Thank you Atlantic for taking such excellent care of my mom.

My mother was at Atlantic Healthcare for both of her hip replacement surgeries. She received excellent care from the nursing staff. Her CNA Niomi was caring and kind. Her therapy was excellent. She was able to to return to her activities three months later. The facility was clean and the enviroment was bright. My mom told be the cinco de Mayo celebration brightened her mood. It was the little kind gestures that motivated her. I would recommend Atlantic and there wonderful caring staff to all my freinds.

My 86 year old mother was admitted to Atlantic Health in Vero Beach for rehabilitation following a fractured hip in March 2015. Since she was visiting my sister when the incident occurred we wanted to transfer her to a facility closer to home to complete her therapy when feasible. Not only was the staff at Atlantic incompetent in her care but for the most part they were rude and careless. My mother was overmedicated with pain medication for an entire week leaving her so sedated it was difficult for her to perform her physical therapy. The reason given was that the doctor got distracted and forgot to write the order!!!! The social worker was not only rude and sarcastic to me on the phone, she refused to fax the necessary paper work to the three facilities we had researched in New York. It took one full week for this woman to get the necessary paper work to the one NY facility that had an available bed!! The nursing staff was no better. It seemed that no one communicated with each other. When I questioned a medication being administered, I was told "It's her 12:00 med". This nurse not only sighed and 'tsked" when I questioned what the drug was for, but it was obvious she had no idea!! My mother's room phone was out of order for 5 days while she was recuperating making it very difficult for us to contact her and causing the nursing staff to wheel her out to a communal phone in the hall; an inconvenience for all involved. I asked if someone could please transport my mother outside to soak up some Florida sunshine and was told no one there had the time. This was definitely not a patient friendly place and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone
