I had a family member stay here recently. From the moment they got there. He was taken care of with a great team working around him till he came back home. The nurses were always quick to respond to his needs day or night. The food was good too. You can see what they have to eat by the nurses station. Also the activities were fun for them to stay active. Physical therapy was great and helped him alot! When it was time for him to leave. They had set up everything needed at home and some dr Appointments too.

Well i would check the nursing home out before i put a love in it. The young staff and young nurses d'not have any respect for elders me in particular, cuss and argue with residents with attitude, with most of staff

My husband received excellent care at Vista Manor. Transferred from a Melbourne hospital with severe wounds and needing rehabilitation, he was placed in a large comfortable room with its own bathroom. The dietician and kitchen staff reduced his heavy body weight and he was able then to receive physical therapy where he learned to walk again and transition from bed and wheel chair. He had a variety of foods, and had just enough not to crave more. The staff were attentive and kind to both him and myself. This was a difficult time for Vista Manor as they were changing ownership. However, throughout it all they coped well without any transference of worry to the clients. Well done Vista!

The food is very good. The staff is courteous and professional. They answer the call lights in a timley manner. There are adjustments that need to be made and the unit managers are working well within the guidelines to make these adjustments for the good. And I've noticed some of my suggestions are being addressed and a couple of CNAs are making adjustments to comply. I would recommend this facility to your family members that are in need of assistance ìn a comfortable and friendly environment.

The first day at facility I was all eyes and ears to see the terrible reputation this facility has... But so far I have found helpful, caring and knowledgeable staff ready to assist when needed. Food is okay, not the greatest but bringing in special treats to keep spirit high. The PT are fantastic and really encourage independence which I love. They have supplied all we need for a relaxing rehabilitation for my family member as of late. If it changes I will update my review but as of now he is cared for and healthy. Downside:old equipment and needs updating. Upside: Cleaned daily and any questions answered

To start the residents have to wait for hours to have their call bell to be answered. All the staff have to work doubles and most walk out because of the management there. The food is horrible and thats if they even give it to the resident or put it in reach knowing full well the pt struggles with cutting up their own food. They have roaches roaming around in the rooms and mold on the windows. Forget about a shower, my family member has had 1 in 3 weeks all while they claim they give excellent bed baths. If you try to visit family after the front closes they give you push back and snarky comments about coming in. They dont want you in visiting your love ones. Family member constantly losing clothing although everything that was brought in had their name clearly written on it. They allow loud screaming in the hallways from staff cursing and cutting up while pts are trying to rest. If you can try to avoid putting your love one in this facility because your concerns will only be ignored and they dont care how bad it is there for the pts.

My father spent a month at this facility after a fall. The physical & occupational therapy staff were amazing especially Mallick - professional, knowledgeable, and consistent. My father recently spent time at another rehab facility in town and Vista Manor had a better therapy staff and equipment room. My father had a private room with spacious bathroom for him to move his wheel chair around. There is a courtyard to go out to for fresh air and sunshine. Amanda, his aide, was friendly, concerned and extremely helpful to my Dad. The front office staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall the food was fine but not exceptional. Because of Covid protocols there were not too many group activities. I can't give the nursing staff a high rating. From my father's perspective, calls for help were not answered. They dispensed medication efficiently but I didn't know who my father's nurse was from day to day. The physician's assistant that frequented the center did provide what information he could and made frequent visits to my Dad. Overall, my family was pleased with the care my father was given as it was better than the other rehab facility.

It’s absolutely horrible! The staff are extremely rude, impatient and need way more training. You can push the button for help and it takes up to a 1.5 hours before worker shows up. When a patient has a real medical issue that is way to long. The whole place smells like urine. There are patients with mental problems running up and down the hall, and they are very loud...screaming etc.. shouldn’t be in same area as sick people, Please never go to this establishment

Awful place. Don’t go there if you can help it. Nursing care is the worst I have seen. I’m a healthcare worker and I work in management so I have seen a lot but this is the far beyond “care.” Patients that dependent are left alone. Food is bland and looks disgusting. Call bell is a joke, no one comes. If by chance, they come to answer a call light, they come with an attitude - like how dare you using the call bell. My dad hasn’t had a bath there for 3 weeks. Nothing gets done unless I call there and make them do it. No communication. Bad behavior including their physician. Incompetent, rude, disgusting all around including case managers. Short staffed with agency nurses that don’t care - if you don’t have staff then Don accept patients to torture them. Their only good thing is their physical therapist but if you or your loved one will rely on nursing care or need a competent doctor to stay safe, stay away.

I visited Vista Manor. My uncle was a resident, basically what they did is they kept giving them pain pills to dull him, and would stare off in the space, then it makes them quiet, and that's what they were doing with my uncle at the end, and that was not good. I didn't appreciate that. That place was horrible, he would sit for hours at a time. That's what happened at Vista Manor. Everybody here in Titusville knows that you do not wanna go there, if you go there you never come out, that's pretty much the rumor here in town. It stinks really bad when you go in there, and it's just the ammonia smell just would bump you on the floor. They give their people a lot of drugs so they stay quiet and stare off in the distance, they wouldn't even know you're there. They let the people sit in their dirty diapers. My cousin is the one who used to go visit my uncle there on a daily basis, and she would have to call the people, and they seemed to get upset with a "Leave us alone, why do you come bother us'?' that kind of mentality. It's horrible. Vista Manor is actually worse, and it's next to the hospital, to our local hospital. The food was pretty bad. That place is horrible, thats your last stop before the grave, Vista Manor.

This place is ridiculous. It takes a min of 40 min to 2 hrs to get your call bell answered. Meds get brought an hour n a half to 2 hours late like its no big deal. Ive had things stolen out of my room. They have tun out of my insulin TWICE but hey thats no big deal right ? Dont get me wrong there are people here who truely care but they are few and far between....I will definitely never return !

My mother went to this rehab. Worst experience of my life. My mother fell out of the bed in the middle of the night because she had to use the bathroom after waiting for 3 hours . 4 nurses came in and put their knee on her chest then all 4 nursing threw her back in bed. Dhf was called and the head administrator just tried covering it up. The following night my father stayed there to protect her. The night after that they did not want my dad there and the morning after she woke up with a black eye and forehead saying that one nurse elbowed her in the face after she fell out of bed with the nurse standing right there. No meds were giving . I had to wipe and change my own mother. I’m a 32 years old with no children. This place was traumatizing. I am in therapy now. Do not send your dog to this place let alone your loved ones. Please contact me on Facebook Robert Earl White. I want to hear others story’s.

This place is the worse place i've ever seen!!!!! They don't know how to take care of the patients there at all. Every time you go in there all you smell is feces. Not only that they do not bath the patients our friend has been there since april yes april and not yet has had a shower at all every time we go in there he is up to his armpit with urine and we say something it takes them at the least 30 mins to come change him. every time we say something all they say is they are understaffed. well if thats the case they dont need to be open how would they like there family member to live in that. They dont even get the patients out of there beds which is causing them to get bed sores. It also took a month after we put a request in for the doctor to see him. all i can say is if you need to put a family member, friend or anybody at that matter in a facility this is the worse place ever they would be better off living on the streets at least they can find a place to shower and get fresh air. It is making the patients lose hope and not want to live and that came from a few patients how sad is that

I was slated to be in this facility for a month, but soon figure out I wouldn't survive a month in their care.I have copd and required 24/7 oxygen.I saw other patients ignored when their oxygen machine stopped especially on third shift when they never come no matter how often you press that emergency button. You never knew when you would be fed or when you'd get your meds .I decided after a week to leave this place and go home, best move I ever made.So you dont mind leaving your love ones in the hands of people with no empathy beware. These places shoudn't exist in this age.

I've been in this facility for a month now for pressure sores on bottom and I'm a quadriplegic and can't move myself and since I've been in here they have let me sit in my own feces for 6 hours, and refused to move me out of my bed when it went flat all night long and have refused to get me out of bed when they're supposed and that cna's name was sueset and they don't follow through when you tell the social worker patty or the head person Donna that works here the way the staff has been doing with your care. They act like they care about your problems but never fixed the issues that I had all they did was ask me to write a good review. The only 3 good nurses here and only 2 good cna's who are Steven and gabby, everyone else says that there's not enough people to help and they're constantly under staffed unless state was here and after state left they went back to being crapy I'm so glad that I'm leaving this place on Monday I highly recommend you find a better place I feel really bad for the patients who don't know what's going on around them and the ones that don't have anywhere else to go please don't let your love ones come here if you care about them cause this place doesn't

Nasty! Smells like poop when you walk in the door! They only let the people shower a couple of times a week? I was considering having my brother in law stay there, but No Way!

My Mother-in-law was there for 3 weeks. I was totally disappointed with the care , as well as the cleaning of the rooms. I find it hard to believe the residents are only allowed to shower twice a week. When there are some who soil them self badly and should have showers. I have pictures of my mother-in-laws rest room. of dirty vents soap dispenser fallen off the wall dirt all over floor. corners.. Your residents wait any way were from 45 to a hour after they ring the buzzer. I could go on an on. How ever, I will say I spent over five years working in a hospital and I have never seen residents be treated or looked after in such a manner as if was a bother.. If I'm not mistaken They took an pledge to take care of residents. An if your short staffed then bring on more staff. The residents already feel left alone . As well as feel the lot there dignity an feel there a bother. Why is they have to pay the price of a nurse how is more involved on there phones than what they are getting paid for.

Vista Manor was fine. The staff was friendly, and the floors were clean. They had a courtyard and a smoking and a non-smoking side. The tables at the dining area were crowded. It was a really nice dining room, but the tables were too close. It was fine. They had a salon, church services, a couple of day rooms, and bingo.

My cousin is a resident of Vista Manor Retirement center of Titusville,fl. The Place is about 90 percent spotless, and has an mild mannered staff. She was given the best treatment wen she became ill and had to stay in her own room. Once she was better and able to leave her room there were plenty of activities that were offered to her. The food is amazing and the cafeteria staff seems to truly care about each and every one of the residents. The home health aides are one of a kind and take great care of her. There was only one time when she had a problem with one of the nursing staff. The individual was not paying close enough attention to her and she developed a bed sore on her left hip. Over all Vista Manor is a wonderful place the seems to really love there residents and the career they have chosen.

At first glance the property was nice, but once my grandmother moved in it turned into a nightmare. The staff clearly does not care about the people who live there. They try to have event and games for them to play but the activity coordinator gets upset to easily and shuts everything down and tells the resident to go back to there rooms. The nurses were very unclean, no one ever checks in on the als patients. Most of them if they ever get the chance to speak to one of the managers are mysteriously transferred to another facility are placed on a bad patient list. I would never recommend this place to any one. It should be shut down immediately!
