I went to The Palms at Sebring. The prices were really nice, but they only had one elevator and the hallways smelled. We didn't like it as much. Their independent living is across the road, so when the power goes out, you have to go over and hang out in the main building, but you don't get a room. We were looking for a place that had full facility when the power went out. It's an old building. I think that they're struggling to keep staff. The staff during the tour was nice. She was doing the best she could with what she was working with. We didn't eat there. I know in the past they had really good food there, but we didn't eat this time. They have a lot of different activities. They need to get rid of the smells in the hallways.

I toured The Palms. The people we talked to were nice. They gave me a good tour, and I enjoyed the place. She answered all of my questions. I was pleased with that. The facility was nice and clean, and the people were caring. The rooms are like a little apartment. It was nice.

The Palms was great and clean. The staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. I like the view of the lake that they had. They have a store in there for the residents. They have a library. They also have a shuttle service that takes them to Walmart.

I went here and I liked the apartments. I liked that they have a full kitchen. They have meals there and a nice dining room. I'm from around this area. The staff was very nice, and helpful, and answered all the questions. It was nice and clean. It was all-inclusive. It went from independent to assisted and to nursing home, so you never had to move. To me, it was a good fit. I liked the dining room. You could come in and sit where you wanted to. The tables weren't all in a row. It was more like a restaurant.

Our visit was very good; we were very impressed. The accommodations were nice. They had apartments, and also just rooms. The staff members that we met were all friendly, and the residents were up and about and busy all over. We had a meal there and the food was very good. Another thing I liked about this community is that they have four dining rooms; three of them serves three meals a day and the fourth one is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some of the amenities include a library, exercise machines, and table hockey. They also have a table set up for games and puzzles, a little convenience store, and a therapy room with therapists. It was a very attractive place and has a good skilled nursing area.

My husband is here and doing very well there. It's wonderful because he is getting a lot of therapy, and there are a lot of activities. It is a great, clean place. My husband's room is very good, nice, and neat. The nurses and the help are very friendly. The staff is very caring. The food is great, too.

We went here, and my mom didn't like it. It was beautiful and very modern, but they would have had to put her on the 5th floor, and the nursing station was on the second floor, and I wasn't comfortable with that. I think it was too big of a facility for her.

It was nice, and I like their apartments. I saw the studio and 1-bedroom apartment. It seems homey and clean. They had a lot of activities; they have card games, virtual bowling, and books. They had a chef-run restaurant and serve three meals a day. They took us on a tour and showed us the different rooms, the dining room, and the different gathering places. They also allow cats and birds.
