My friend has moved into Brookdale Deer Creek Sarasota. The community is very nice, that's why we picked it. I like the people very much. Unfortunately, she is very hesitant to stay there. She tried to escape several times. She actually fell and is in the hospital right now, but this has nothing to do with the facility. The staff is very good, very friendly, and very considerate. We're really happy with them. She's in a private room and it's very nice, light, airy, and clean. It's empty and we had to furnish it, but it was nice in comparison to some of the other places that we've seen. They had a room that could be shared by two people, or semi-private. They showed us quite a bit of what they were doing, from playing games to concerts. Unfortunately, she hasn't participated in too much yet, so I hope that will change in the future. They have a courtyard where they can go outside themselves if they're capable of it, and it's very nicely landscaped. It's very impressive. It's a little bit more expensive than the others.

I went to look at Brookdale Deer Creek Sarasota. I liked the cleanliness of the place. The facility was absolutely beautiful. The person I worked with was charming. You could tell her sincerity and her care for the people were genuine. They had two separate dining areas to sort of separate the different needs. The center area was absolutely beautiful, where they were able to relax and socialize with other people that were there. They have a very nice outside area where they're able to sit around the trees and have their loved ones hang out with them. I have talked to a couple of the residents there, and they seem to like the food. The rooms were nice. They were medium-sized. The view out the window had at least some trees to look at, and they could see the sky.

We plan to put my dad in Brookdale Deer Creek Sarasota for respite. It's strictly memory care. We chose it because it's a smaller community. It's on a single level. It's not multiple stories. The staff was extremely helpful and very kind. They were very highly rated. It's exceptionally very clean, and the respite room was fully furnished and immaculate. Susie gave us the tour. She's extremely knowledgeable about Alzheimer's and interacted very pleasantly with all of the residents. They had a very nice garden, which is outside with flowers. They had a large community room with a skylight. They offer a very peaceful and calm environment.

I went to look at Brookdale Deer Creek Sarasota. I was impressed with how clean it was. The facility was beautifully decorated, but not overdone. It felt very homey. The staff was super friendly, inviting, very kind, gentle, and attentive to the residents. The meals smelled and looked very good. The rooms were very nice and clean. There was no smell of urine. It was just like walking into your own home. The other thing that I really liked was that the entire facility is devoted to memory care. The place was spotless, and the residents were spotless. They had a salon and a beautiful courtyard. Their rooms overlooked the courtyard.

Brookdale Deer Creek Sarasota is on the top of our list. We thought it was small, but we liked that the tour guide knew everyone's name in there, and everyone seemed well taken care of. We liked that place a lot. The room was clean, organized, and we liked that the view at the back was nice. The dining area was clean, very bright, and inviting. They seemed to have more of a personal touch, it's a smaller environment, which to me means safer, more eyes, and less people. We liked the staff to client ratio, and they've been there a longer period of time.

The people seemed very friendly and approachable when I visited. I toured the place a little bit and it was beautiful. I have a friend whose wife is in there, too, and he spoke very highly of them. She's been in there for about 2 years now. However, they didn't have anything available at the time.

Mother has been here for two months now. I chose it because of the amount of activities that they have and it's a memory care unit only. My mom is rarely in her room because they keep her out and get involved in everything like exercises, different games and TV time. The environment is great. It is always clean. The food is top notch. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and caring. My mom is happy there.

We went here and I like them a great deal. I would give it a high rating from just going on the front door. The architecture was fabulous. There was also an overabundance of very attentive staff on hand and that means a great deal to us. When I have decided that we need to get help for my husband, this is the place I would be looking at.
