My mother is staying for long term care in Riverchase Health and Rehabilitation Center. Their staff is attentive to the residents, and it's a small rehab center. It's more family oriented. If the families have any concerns or issues, they're also attentive to them. The rooms are clean and roomy. She shares a room with another resident, but she has plenty of room on her side. The facility is clean, and they keep their residents clean as well.

Rooms are old a not well kept. my loved one is terminally ill. They have ran out of morphine that he takes twice a day on a Friday and he’s gone all weekend begging for something for pain. They blame it on hospice hospice blames it on the nursing home. It’s unacceptable to hear your love when crying out for pain and they just say they don’t have his medicine unacceptable . He has gone almost 3 weeks with no heater air in his room. Finally it got down in the 20s and they did get the unit in after many many calls that day before the 20s hit. He has been freezing when I asked the Director about it she said he likes his room cold, totally not true. Food is not worth eating dinner one night wiener noodles and a piece of bread. Nothing about that is healthy. Nothing another meal was cheese on bread, noodles and milk. Nothing healthy about that. None of his laundry comes back no socks, no underwear has to buy him about every month. He hast to order food out because some of the stuff is just not worth eating , but they will all his money and he wants to keep a couple hundred dollars a month out of his Social Security check he demands it they’re throwing him out evict him yes I terminally ill man he does not even know where he’s at now it is a shame and this place I don’t recommend whatsoever he fought for this country. He’s been kind to those people and all they care about that two or $300 a month extra that they could be getting so the thousand we pay a month plus he has Medicaid just isn’t enough they’re kicking him out , sorry sorry sorry if you really love your loved one think twice about putting in this dump
