An impressive facility with a wonderful staff. Love the pool, which provides perfect exercise for seniors, maintaining and increasing muscle strength, balance, and agility. The people here are interesting, and the common areas attractively done, promoting more active social lives. The rooms are sweet for those times you would just like some privacy.

My impression about The Gallery at Port Orange was if you go to an assisted living from independent living, they have to move you to another part. That I didn't like. What I didn't like also was the fact that they gave you $400 to spend on food. Breakfast is free, but it was like coffee and some Danish or whatever. Not food for breakfast. So that was out. I wouldn't move there. The other thing is they have beautiful kitchens but it's big. I'm not interested in cooking. I only want to bake. The facility was OK. It was new. It was beautiful, but they gave a lot of room to the kitchen and things that you don't need to be that big because you're not going there to cook. The way they have the food there was you're going to have to cook your own meals because otherwise, it would cost you a fortune.

The Gallery at Port Orange was an excellent facility. It just opened, so obviously everything was new. There is really nothing I can say bad about the place. It's really a beautiful facility. The staff I met was very nice. They showed a suite, a two-bedroom, and a one-bedroom unit, and they were all excellent. We saw the exercise room, the two dining rooms they have, the study room, and the library. It is a new and beautifully designed place.

The Gallery at Port Orange was brand new. I went there on their first day of opening, so the tour guide was busy and we only interacted with her. I didn't see any other employees, but the facility was beautiful. The rooms were perfect. They had a pool, an exercise room, a courtyard, and lots of great sitting areas though.
