My brother recently spent 7 1/2 weeks at Rosewood. From the time we got there until we left, the entire experience was outstanding. The staff, from the custodians to the director, was very attentive. We could not have been more satisfied. Thank you for a terrific experience and for building my brother up so he could live at home again. PT, OT, and speech therapy did a great job. Life enrichment programs also made the recovery much easier. Rosewood Healthcare IS the best facility I have ever seen. ALL of you folks deserve the highest honors. Thank you, thank you, thank you. OMG!! I can't find the words..My adopted mom had sent her husband of 53 years to this facility cause of double stroke not knowing the nightmare we were walking into. We arrive and there was a fight between patient and staff in the hall. The hall was filthy, the pics from the web WERE NOT what I saw once I arrived (VERY MISSLEADING)..the staff members were not helpful. The facility is soooo outdated. The doors and drawers looked like a bear had attacked them, the crank bed was unusable due to the patient was disabled, there was garbage in the drawers, roach and rat feces along the wall and mildew in the shared bathroom. NOTHING AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE. A TRUE DISGRACE TO OUR VETERANS!! Searching for immediate transfer..it hasn't been a full day yet. Patient was placed in bed with his jacket still on and mom and I had to search for a staff member. We had difficulty because there was no differentiating staff members from patients. Loud music blaring from rooms and not welcoming surroundings at all. No house keeping was seen..just people lined on the walls and hanging out in the halls.. Mom and I left in tears. ONCE AGAIN, searching for immediate transfer!

My aunt received nice care from many of the individual care givers while she was a resident here. However, we have been attempting to communicate with Rosewood for a year now to get reimbursement for over payment since we were paying out of pocket and she was approved for Medicaid. Originally a representative of the facility agreed to the refund, and then no one followed up and they refuse to respond to repeated attempts to discuss.

I was very pleased with my month long stay at Rosewood. I was very sick when I entered. I could not eat, could not keep anything down. I also had extreme weakness in my arms and legs. Their physical therapy department did great getting me up and walking even though I gave them a really hard time. The food was ok, not wonderful but not awful. They will bring you something else if you cannot eat what they brought. I would not be afraid to go back if it was necessary. The 'nurses where nice and everyone was polite and helpful. They can quickly when I called and I felt like they cared about me.

Omg! Do not use this place. My father was transported here from a hospital, only because this was the only place with an immediate opening. There were rat and roach traps under the beds. (I have pics of this) The other 3 residents in the same room told me that they sat in urine for hours (one was an amputee). They brought my dads food in and placed it on a tray at the foot of his bed 4 days in a row. When I would arrive in the morning he was hungry and thirsty because he couldn't get his tray. His lips were dry and cracked. 5 Days after arriving he was rushed to the hospital for severe dehydration and kidney failure. His frail state was too far gone and he passed a few days later. The hospital said this place should be closed. Please do not entrust your parents/grandparents to this place.

The facility is very old and outdated equipment!!! Some of the staff is very rude!! They put pretty much anybody in one, it doesn't matter what's wrong with them!! They change a bedwritten person every 8 hours.

Rosewood was great. The staff were all very friendly from the nurses, to the admissions director, right down to housekeeping. Physical therapy was very attentive and my father recovered well and quickly! We were able to take him out of the facility on the weekends. He had access to vending machines, a barber shop, an outdoor patio area, scheduled group outing and events. I would definitely recommend Rosewood to anyone looking for short or long term care for a loved one.

My mother has been at Rosewood for almost a year. The staff take very good care of her needs, the food is very good and the people are all very helpful.. I know the facility isn't fancy, but they more than make up for that. Many residents have been here over 10 years which speaks volumes about the health care. I am pleased with Rosewood for Mom

Rosewood Manor is an old facility but it is clean, full of friendly staff and has helpful people working there. I have been very pleased with their care of my relative.

My parents were treated all right here, but the facility itself is dreary. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful.

The facility reeked of urine, many of the residents seemed ok and as if they adjusted but one wing in particular was depressing. Most of the patients were in ther rooms and the staff talked among themselves apparntly ignoring most of the residents except those that could walk or roll themselves up to theburses desk. Of the staff that appeared to genunly care were too few and to far between.
