I was in rehab at Olive Branch Health & Rehabilitation Center. They're great. They were right on the ball helping me every inch of the way. I was in a lot of trouble when I went there. I had a lot of problems and I was unsteady on my feet and everything. And I had hip pain so much with rehab helping me to walk better and to be able to get up and do what I needed to do better, so I can't say enough good for them. They are really great. The facility was wonderful. It's clean and beautiful there. The people were so great. All of it is good.

Olive Branch Health & Rehabilitation Center is beautiful facility with a caring & knowledgeable staff, but I did not feel my husband was receiving the care he needed. He has dementia, a prosthetic leg & had a recent fall that dislocated his elbow. He was referred to OB for rehab &, because he'd repeatedly removed his splint, it was more eyes would keep him from removing it again. The night I left I was told that I could visit at 1100 the next day but would not be able to visit again till Sun, not okay with me. I returned the next day to be told that it was not my day to visit. At that point I said I was taking him home. Then they would allow me to visit because I had arrived during visiting hours. I still insisted I was taking him home & the administrator came out to talk. We had a reassuring conversation and, because of my husband's dementia, they were willing to make concession which I agreed to try. When I entered the room my husband was in a wheel chair wearing depends and a t-shirt. His bed was stripped and the dirty linens left in the middle. His prosthetic was not put on right & was unsafe, he had just completed PT that way. He started pulling his splint apart & I pointed it out to the nurse who had no idea she was supposed to watch it. It took and hour & excuses before it was secured. After 3 hours my husband needed to use the toilet and we pushed the call button. A nurse/attendant came in, looked confused, and left. After ten minutes my husband told me if he didn't get to the toilet he would do his business in his pants so I helped him to the toilet. When the person returned she seemed both agitated and confused saying she was told in report that he wasn't supposed to be out of bed. I pointed out that his bed had not been made all day she started to remove the dirty linens and to make the bed. Another nurse came in telling me that about three different people who were supposed to do it but were called to work elsewhere. That did not build confidence in staffing. I emphasized that my husband was not to receive coffee or tea, it was noted on his meal ticket, but he still received iced tea on his lunch tray. A brand new pair of pants disappeared in the less than 24 hours he was there...it's obviously no big deal to them.

My brother is in Olive Branch Health & Rehabilitation Center for rehab. He went straight from the hospital to there and they're really good about giving you updates. They have a care manager that keeps me abreast of what's going on, and I call him and talk to him every day. It looks like a very nice place, and he's very happy there. It's like a private room, so it's very nice according to him. He walks a good bit, he's using a cane now instead of a walker, and he said he's doing real well.

My mother was in Olive Branch Health And Rehabilitation Center in Pensacola for rehab. It was clean, it had good food, a cheering staff, and it's a big place. Most of the people we all liked very much, occasionally we met somebody that was OK, not terrible, but not as helpful and kind. They had physical therapy and occupational therapy. I ate some of their food. It was very good, and they were good about providing choices. If you don't like what's on the menu you can make a request and very soon you'll get your request in front of you.
