My in laws have been living at Brookdale Pensacola for about 8 months. My husband and I feel truly blessed that we found this place to place our loved ones. The place is nice, bright, clean, beautiful patio. Stella and the entire staff couldn't be kinder and more attentive to their every needs. They go beyond their duties to make my in laws comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for those who require help with their daily needs.

I toured Brookdale Pensacola and I enjoyed the place. It has a welcoming atmosphere. The residents were engaged and involved. It was more structured for assisted living. The doors were locked and it was a bit more remote. I'm not sure my mom would feel as welcome there but I was very pleased with that facility. They had activities and meals. You didn't have to have the meal that was served, you could order off from the menus. Stella was the sales and marketing manager, and she was helpful. She understood what I was looking for for my mom and gave me a lot of good advice.

We went to Brookdale Pensacola. It was extremely clean, and the director was very nice. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very nice, but you got your own furniture. They had a model set up that was beautiful. Everything was very clean. They had a beautiful courtyard. The dining area was very nice.

We toured Brookdale Pensacola. They have an atrium in the middle where I could have had my dog. The people I interviewed were very nice. My sister was with me, and it was the first one we looked at. We had a lot of questions that they answered. They sat down at the table with us and answered everything. I found Brookdale to be very dark. It's built under trees and there's not a lot of light. I'm a light person and when I get up in the morning, all my shades go up. So, I find dark a little depressing. I noticed first off that it is a mustard yellow-colored building, and that that kind of downed me. The people were nice. Everybody said the food was good. Holiday has three full meals. The ground's very pretty. In the atrium, there's a sidewalk that goes all the way around and it's all planted in southern flowers and palms. It was nice.

My father is in Brookdale Pensacola and they seem to be pretty friendly. He's getting what he needs and he's comfortable, and that's important. I'm pretty happy with the care there. I think he's predominantly enjoying the food, although it's a little bit different than what he's used to. I'm happy with their communications. They have a barbershop and a beauty salon.

I liked Brookdale Pensacola. It's an older place. It's not very big, but it's a nice and homey place. The staff was nice. Since it is small, everybody seems to know everybody. I'm going back to see them again.

I've looked at Brookdale Pensacola and noticed that the doors were locked. So, even though they're not memory care but an assisted living facility, anybody that enters and goes out of the facility, has to have a code to be able to let in and let out, and that's a plus for us. The upkeep was excellent too. I would give its first appearance five stars. The lady that I met with, Stella, whom we'd been conversing with by phone, was very informative and very helpful. Then upon meeting her, she was just even more so. She explained a lot and went over as far as floor plans, what they offered, the entire setup, and the difference between assisted living and memory care facilities. I learned a lot from her along with all the others that I spoke with. They had several floor plans and they furnished me with all kinds of information, like a booklet to take home. She showed me one of the floor plans that she would be able to offer my friend, and I was impressed with it. It was so nice that I would even like to move myself in tomorrow.

I visited Brookdale Pensacola for my friend. It is a facility that you have to have the code to go in and out, but they do not really say that it is memory care. It was a really nice place. If I were going to some place for an assisted living, I would probably go to Brookdale. The staff was a wonderful person and follows up. She is great and makes you feel very comfortable. They would make you feel at home. I know that you have to wear a mask whenever you go in, and you need an appointment to go see anyone in the facility. I saw their backyard, dining area, the room they do entertainment in, and then the two-room apartment.

We are really pleased with Heritage Woods. It is a beautiful facility, and the people have been very kind. So far, they have not had any COVID cases at all in their facility, so we're pleased with that. It is a very pleasant place. I am happy to have my mom there. I had a few interactions with the staff when we first put her in there. We were not allowed to come in because of COVID, and they have been very nice. They have a doctor that comes in every Tuesday. She goes on visitations in their rooms if they need to. They have a beauty parlor, a library, an activities center, a store, doctors that come in, and they can drive residents to appointments in their wheelchair-accessible van. I'm pleased with all that stuff.

Brookdale Pensacola is a smaller place, but it's nice and the people seemed happy there. They seemed to have a staff that is very caring. We only encountered a couple of people there and the people we have encountered have changed every time we've been there, so it's hard to rate when you're dealing with somebody new every time. I was not in any of these rooms so I'm only rating the common areas. They have an outdoor area that's got plants and a nice garden area that the residents can go out, visit, and sit. There's a bunch of bird feeders around too. It's a pleasant outdoor area. Everybody who drives on the university can see the outside of the building, and it's always tidy, painted, and it doesn't look run down at all. It's definitely being cared for.

We like Brookdale Pensacola very much. The girl that showed us around was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very good experience. We had lunch there and the food was good. The rooms were nice. The living atmosphere was pretty good and was friendly. They got everything like exercise, activities, and crafts. They do transportation to doctors, too.

Brookdale Pensacola is a very professional and caring place. The lady during the tour was very nice and the director was amazing, took the time and explained things. My mother was very impressed. They give her, her medications, clean her room and do her laundry. The food looks appetizing, but they have pork quite often and a lot of pasta, and she doesn't like to eat pork. They take them out a couple of times a week, to Wal-Mart, to shops in town, and to a casino nearby. There are activities planned every day, which she really enjoys. The place is very clean, very inviting, and very nice. The staff is very friendly and very caring. Only the people who work there have the security pass, so I have to ring the bell and somebody comes and lets me in. It's much safer than everybody having the security code. I haven't met anybody there that's not been helpful and friendly. It's a very good value.

Brookdale Pensacola was nice. The rooms were terrific. You can bring your own furniture, and they have bathrooms and refrigerators. There's 24-hour staff on-site, and they have someone who handles catheter changes. They have quite a lot of activities both inside and outside the facility, and they keep them entertained. The dining area was clean and pretty, and the folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. The facilities were terrific.

We moved my mother-in-law to Brookdale Pensacola on the 17th of December, and we're very happy with the place. It's very nice and the facility is nice. The staff is excellent. My mother-in-law had a minor fall last night, but they promptly called us but they properly evaluated it. They have a monthly get-together with the cooks and chefs, and they can bring their own recipes and if suitable, they can cook the recipes for them. The activities seem very good. We were there through Christmastime, and they had a lot of church groups coming in to sing Christmas songs and carols. There always seems to be some little thing going on in the community room like exercise and nail polishing. It's pretty expensive, though.

Brookdale Pensacola was wonderful, clean, and open, and everyone seemed very happy. The people who work there were accommodating, made eye contact, and spoke to you even though they didn't know who you were. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They called back a couple of times to make sure we didn't have any questions, but they weren't overbearing. I liked that treatment. The residents apparently knew each other, had these tables where they're engaged with activities, playing puzzles and card games. We really noted that they were laughing and engaging each other. We passed through a separate room where they could read or quietly do community puzzles, then you can just walk away and someone else can use the puzzles. There's also a quiet space for those who didn't want to socialize in the dining hall, you could sit off by yourself and read a book. The rooms were spacious and everything was clean. They're willing to accommodate if you want one apartment, or they could join two apartments if a couple wants to be there. We really like that flexibility. Everyone was friendly and open; even those who were just passing by spoke to us generously. It's a very good atmosphere.

My parents really liked Brookdale Pensacola. The apartments were a fairly nice size with a small living area, a separate bedroom, and a nice walk-in closet. The bathroom was really nice because you could roll in a wheelchair, which is good for my father. They had a courtyard where you can walk your pets, but you have to clean up after them.

When my father was no longer able to live alone and take care of himself, I looked for an assisted living facility that would do more than just watch over him. After visiting several reputable facilities, I found Brookdale assisted living and now I have peace of mind in knowing that my dad is safe, comfortable, and is being taken care of like family by a professional caring staff.

Brookdale Pensacola was updated and pretty. The rooms were spacious, real clean, and they have different room sizes. I was very impressed with it. Everybody was very nice. The dining room was nice and updated too. It was probably one of the better ones that I saw. They have an activity room, a garden, and an area where you can sit outside. They have a porch area. The door is locked, and you have to buzz to come inside.

I have visited because my mother had some friends there. It is a very nice place, and her friends over there are very happy. My mother did not have a problem with it at all, but she is looking for some thing with more of an open area to visit, and if it is not really open, it is more like a hotel for her. It is very clean, and it seemed old, but I didn't see any rundown at all. The staff seemed attentive, the apartments were very nice and comparable to other places, and they were spacious enough. The dining area looked very nice, and it looked like they had a lot of help there.

I have my mother placed here. This one is close to my home. The rooms/apartments are wonderful. This is the only facility I visited, and I'm so happy with it. Everything worked out. The cost works for us. It is beautiful. They have just redone the hallways and the community area. They decorated and repainted it; it is really nice. I have tried their food, and it is OK. They have a chef there, and he tries to accommodate what they need. The staff is wonderful. I'm very pleased with the care my mother is getting.

Everybody was very nice. It was very small, which is what he prefers. It seemed to be very clean. The assistant director was very nice and informative. They have a large living room where families could visit. Their dining room was on the small side. I saw a couple of residents on the front porch, and they were very friendly, speaking to me as I went in. They have speakers from churches and from the nearby college. They have exercises, Bingo, and classes.

They had all kinds of things. I was impressed that every hallway, practically, had a list of groups that you could join, and bingo. It's a very relaxed and just like home facility, and I like smaller sometimes because you can get to know the people well. They have a bus that would take people to their doctor's appointments.

Is fine, but we just can’t afford it. They’ve got three or four different sizes of rooms. They mentioned that they have activities. They have arts and crafts and card games. They have two menus each day and they have a salad bar. It would give my wife a wider variety that she could eat.

It is wonderful and really nice. My mom has been there since March. The staff is wonderful. But now she's soon going to be out of the level of care that they offer. The room we got her is large and very nice. We're pleased with it. However, they could improve on their accessibility. When I called them on the phone, it took me like two days to get in touch with somebody.

The staff was very friendly and actually had a lunch for us to meet some of the residents. A case worker showed us two of the rooms that had an opening. They had a Jack and Jill bathroom as well as private bath. They had vans or individual people that drive the residents for their doctor’s appointments. It was very thorough and nice. It was very clean, well ventilated, and they had a lovely exercise pool that was very nice. The residents told me they love it there.

It was very nice and clean; there were no smells in it. They were my second choice for my mom. The staff who assisted us during the tour was very nice. They were very pushy though. I liked the place but didn’t like that they were pushy.

I like the layout. It's very clean. It seemed like a really good staff. They have a very busy calendar, and everybody looks happy. I like the fact that even though they're assisted living, they have some nurses there, so that's good.

I visited last November. They took time to explain everything to me, they gave me a full tour. This is one level so he wouldn't worry about finding a stair or elevators or trying to find buttons if he couldn't breathe. It was clean, reasonable, very open but with locks on the door. They said there were a few residents so it was small and personal. They gave me a brochure that lets me know he is eligible for some VA benefits that we did not know about. It was an eye opener and beneficial to him financially. They showed me different units for the different sizes and the cost. They also gave me the lay out, the current price and the cost that it would go up to in January. They were extremely helpful. They had a dining room, It wasn't really big. I just liked it that it was cozier than a large facility. I saw the residents come out to the common area. They were watching TV together, the music playing was from their generation. They had painting classes and some of the artworks on the walls are from the residents and they were very nice. Also, they had karaoke days and puzzles on game day. This is my first outing into a facility and I am very impressed.

I really liked it and I liked the girl who showed me around. She was so sweet, welcoming and was so nice. I really appreciated that. The only thing I don't like about it was how you have to come out into a busy street. It's sort of down under, like you go down a little hill and it's hard coming out. I know it would be hard for me to get out of there and I don't wanna give up my car yet. I still drive. There's no other way to come out except that one, other than that I really like it. What I really like about the apartment I saw is how you can see at these big windows because of the way it's built. The dining rooms looked like a nice place to eat. I like that everything's on the first floor and I can take my little dog out to the yard. It would be very convenient for that. It's really a nice place. I didn't find anything wrong with it except with where it's located.

It is a wonderful facility. It's not a huge place so it's more cozy. The lady in change was very caring and very loving. She took me around and showed me the different rooms that are available. She also showed me the garden and it was very nice. She was a very, very nice person. The rooms were nice. They have the small ones and they also have the bigger ones. It depends on how much space you want. The dining area was also nice and they can eat there with everybody or they can also eat in their room. They do all kinds of activities there so that the residents don’t get bored. The residents get together to play games and watch TV together. They were conscientious and very caring. I can't say anything wrong and their prices are pretty reasonable also.

We liked it because it was very nice and clean when we visited there. If he could afford the facility, we already placed him there. The food was good and the residents were friendly. It was a really nice place. What we liked best about this facility is the safety and the way people cared.

It was a nice place. The person that was supposed to meet me wasn't there when I arrived. I did get a chance to walk around and see a room and the dining area. The people that were there were very helpful. The room I was shown was very nice and well decorated.

It is very nice and generally clean. They offer suites where there is more than one room. This facility basically offers mid level of care. They don't have advanced Alzheimer's care but with what they do, they are doing a very good job. The staff is very nice. They do pretty well with the residents there. They are very attentive and caring, which is good. The facility does tend to get rid of staff members that are not very good. However, they don't take Medicaid. They only take private insurance or personal payments. That's the thing I would like them to change that they should take Medicaid especially if somebody runs out of money.

I visited for my husband. It was in a beautiful city. The facility was very nice-looking and very clean. They have very nice ground. You'd think you were out in a resort area. People there seemed very nice. The staff showed us to one of the rooms that my husband would have and it was nice.
