When my mother fell and needed round the clock care and therapy we chose Guardian Care and have been completely satisfied with the quality of care she receives. The staff is very professional and beyond that they care about the people in their care and its not just a job but a family . We looked at other facilities but there really was no decision to make . Mom has settled in and really loves the staff and attention she receives. There will come a time in all families when the choice to make about our loved ones care will need to be made the people at Guardian will listen and offer advice without pressure . I can't thank them enough and am grateful that they were there when we needed them. Dick E

I went to Guardian Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center to visit a fellow church member. That nursing home is very clean and it smells clean. The staff must have been busy that particular day because we didn't see very many of them. The building was nice and clean. At the time we were there, the residents were watching TV. The community has a nice and quiet atmosphere.

We like Guardian Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The rooms are good and the place was perfect, spacious, and clean. They have a smoking area, a recreation area where people can go and mingle, and they have lots of activities for the seniors. The dining area looked spacious, and the staff was very nice.

I was looking for a nursing home for my mom. I visited Guardian Care and we liked it. It was a nice place. I like it because the people were nice. The person that toured me was really nice and it looks like a great place, but the only thing that scared me is the surrounding of the place because it does not have great neighborhood. The place is very, very clean. We were able to check out the rooms and it was very good. It was nice.

The nurses are good here at Guardian Care. They really try to help you. They give my medicine on time. If I got a complaint, I can go to them and they will try to work it out. You can talk to the administrator anytime. It's a good place. I'm in a 4-bedroom right now. It's spacious enough for me to use my electric wheelchair. As far as the food, it's adequate for place like this.

Guardian Care is a five-star facility located in Orlando, Fl. It has 120 beds for the residents. There is a north wing and a south wing. The north wing is the sub-acute unit for residents who are more alert and are able to make their needs known. Overall it receives more admissions and more discharges of patients because the patients that stay there are there for a short time. However, the long-term patients reside in the south-wing and it is a lock-unit because the residents there are under constant supervision because most of them are dealing mental illnesses and debilitating diseases that often leaves them helpless. They're often under total care meaning they rely solely on the assistance of the staff. The health care staff including the LPNs, RNs, and dietitians are well managed by the administrators, the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing and the rest of the staff such as the accounting department, maintenance staff, housekeeping and security do a great job to keep the facility running efficiently. They have an activity room for the residents to get involved in different games like bingo, puzzles and other joys that the residents can easily adapt to. Other times they get a chance to watch movies, be read too and read books to keep their minds sharp and on scheduled days the staff will take the able-bodied and alert residents aboard the Guardian Care bus for ice cream socials and even too watch sporting events. All the activities are handled by the activity manager, Ms. Lynn.
