My friend is at The Manor at Blue Water Bay now. It's very clean. Everyone is very friendly. We're very pleased with her care, even though it's just temporary. It was a really good solution for us. We haven't utilized much of anything other than basic care and rehab. The staff is very professional and friendly. They have different things, but I'm not familiar with what they offer. Her room is kind of small, but it's sufficient. We chose it because it's one of the higher-rated facilities and it's close to our home, so it made visiting and things much easier.

While in their care after a hip operation, I had a heart attack, drug overdose and pneumonia. I almost died. Staff tried but were understaffed. Rehab was minimal.

I do not recommend this facility. I am a new resident having been here only a week. Slow responses from wellness staff. I repeatedly have had to wait one and a half or two hours for pain medication and or requesting simple hygiene duties. I started keeping a log two days ago to document these delays. Nurses come in and make excuses for not getting me my pain medication after an hour and a half wait. Most recent one said she just came on five minutes ago and it was the first time she heard my request. This is not true as I asked the nurse before her shift and I also requested my pain medication from three CNA‘s I also press the call button several times. Please think long and hard before you place I love the one on yourself yeah

This place is pretty nice. All the nurses are incredible. I dont have much to say about the social worker. My aunts husband died, and she had to come here for rehab, but while she is in there they have declared her incapacitated, hopefully only gonna be like that for a very short time. Her life depends on it. She has been through alot. Her mind was pretty foggy when she first came, then they couldnt get her sugar levels right, so they sent her to hospital, brought her back. Her husband died while she was sick herself under going surgery after surgery. Her mind has gotten alot clearer since she has been here. So hopefully soon this ban will be lifted, so she can start to focus on her life, and what she would like to do with the rest of her life. She has a person that doesnt have her best interest at heart, she only sees dollar signs. Just wanting whats best for my aunt, and I dont think its a nursing home. This is just a little speed bump in this so called life we are all trying to live. God will work all this out. In the mean time I pray this ban gets lifted was no need to really put one on her in tne first place. Overall this place is nice if u have no other options. Thank you...

I spent 24 days there after knee replacement and the staff was excellent. Have many friends who have been and were very impressed also. I plan on going for rehab again at the manor. The therapists were great and so nice and accommodating.

My mother-in-law went to The Manor At Bluewater Bay. It was very good just the way how clean it was, the way that they interacted with the patients, and the food. She really enjoyed the food too. The other facility was good, but I like The Manor At Bluewater Bay better. If I had to go to one, it would be The Manor.

The Manor at Bluewater Bay doesn't smell. It seemed real nice and clean. The staff seemed very friendly and willing to help. They're regular size rooms; they're clean, and they look nice. Its close to home; we can go and visit any time we want.

My friend has only been in The Manor at Blue Water Bay for rehab for less than a week. They're very efficient, and they've been forthcoming on everything. There is no complaint at all about them. I would rate the staff very efficient. They are there when you need them without question. She is in a semi-private in a hospital bed. She got a fractured pelvic bone, and they do therapy there.

The Manor is a great place to send your parents if you want to receive your inheritance quickly. Absolutely horrible! The decor is dated and depressing. The staff hardly seemed to care. My mother caught C-Diff while she was there. Wound up back at the hospital and almost died. Seriously, avoid the Manor at all costs.

My husband’s grandmother was at The Manor 3 years ago. I was not impressed with it whatsoever. They let her wait in her own feces and urine quite a while before they would change her. When we first got her in, she was sharp as a tack, and they started giving her something that made her sleep. She became so groggy, we asked them to stop giving it to her -- which they did -- but she never was the same after that whatever it was they gave her, and that upset us very badly. The rooms were not spacious. It’s an old facility; it kind of smelled to me all the time. I feel like they just do the least they can to get away with taking care of a patient. There are some people who really liked it, but I would never put my mother there.

My mom had a broken leg. She was at the Manor for quite a while. They have assisted living, they have nursing caring, they have rehabilitation. She was in the rehabilitation section. It came highly recommended from local friends and people in the area. It's also highly recommended from different medical funds and among medical professionals. It's truly inviting and pleasant to walk into, it's very nicely furnished. They offer a wide variety of cultural and social events on property, they take patients down for a bingo in wheelchairs. The rooms are a little larger than some of the other facilities we looked at and it has a lot of nice amenities.

I liked the Manor very much. It was ten miles from here. I would recommend it because I thought it was a very nice place. It was very clean and there were a lot of things going on. They had several types of people staying there and they were all very friendly. Everybody I met there were very helpful. They were all wonderful and the physical therapy looked good. My friend said the food was good and they even served wine twice a week. Everything about it was good and I would put my loved ones there.

This facility that my mother (age 87) stayed in during her rehab from a broken pelvis was wonderful from the moment she was wheeled in! Her stay was 28 days and they welcomed her with loving kindness from the get go. All benefits and patient responsibilities were very clear and they even assisted with ordering equipment needed during and after her release. Her meals were planned with a personal meeting with the dietician. They have a very caring staff and my mother felt safe there.

Upon first visiting the manor, I was in awe. It is beautiful, both inside and outside. Outside, there are lush gardens and fountains. The interior design was classical antique style. The front desk workers were extremely friendly and helpful. I told them I was there for a local community college class I was taking, and they gladly gave me a tour of the facility. The Manor seemed like a massive home. It definitely did not have the cold hospital feel to it. All of the amenities were well taken care of and the facilities were top notch. The outside gardens contain pavilions and benches for people to relax at. Inside the Manor the living room had several televisions, board games, and comfortable couches. The dining facility was beautiful and the food smelled delicious. It looked nothing like a cafeteria, in fact, it looked like a fine dining restaurant. The Manor also has a full functioning salon/barber shop. The rooms look like hotel rooms and the hallways are decorated in green carpet.
