I relocated my mother to Arden Courts after an awful experience at another care facility. The transition took place during COVID and between my previous experience and COVID restrictions, I braced for another unpleasant experience. However, that wasn't the case at all. The staff at Arden Courts, in addition to providing exemplary care, rose to the challenge of COVID. Visitations, albeit on the front porch, were scheduled and coordinated most efficiently, and with visitors not allowed, staff members assumed the entertainment role to keep residents occupied. In a day and age when customer service has taken a back seat, the staff at Arden Courts has gone above and beyond to care for its residents. Peace of mind is knowing that staff genuinely cares. It's great to see my mother smile again.

Just picked up my father from the ER because somehow Arden Courts lost my father and he got out of the facility and was severely injured on the side of the road. Thank God someone saw him and called 911. EMS showed up and took him to the ER. Arden Courts admitted they didn't even know he was gone! The nurse signed off saying he was there!!!! No one called, no one verified. He was at Arden Courts for LESS THAN 24 HOURS! Then when we asked for a refund because my father would not be at a place that is unsafe, they told us they were charging us for 2 days $1000! We shouldn't be paying you a dime after the negligence that put my father's life at risk. Add to that. . . there was no care team available to help with the transition into the facility. The morning after transition we went to check on him and he was wandering around in his pajamas, unbathed and confused. No one had checked on him that morning.

My father was at ManorCare Health Services at Lely Palms in Naples for rehab. Our overall experience with them was crappy -- it was not good. I would say that my biggest complaint was that it was very difficult to get a hold of one particular social worker for, I think, everyone that was there. I would also not get return calls or e-mails. It was extremely difficult to communicate with them, and they're not responsive. My father was bedridden, so it was pretty hard for him to say anything about the services, but he left there with pressure sores and a really bad rash from not being changed enough. I just don't think it's a very clean place. When we visited, his wheelchair was kind of dirty. They have gotten him back to the hospital a couple of times when he needed, but at the end, they were not making sure he was hydrated, and he ended up being transported to a doctor for a near kidney failure. The doctor said he just needed to be hydrated when they got him to the hospital, and he was able to recover. They were ready to put him in hospice. I called the doctor when he had his appointment and he said he's not going back there, that we need to put him in a hospital, and we need to figure something else out. Our problem was he kept testing positive for COVID. We actually brought him home and paid a lot for in-home care because we didn't want him to go back there.

Arden Courts has the best Activity program from all the other facilities I visited. They also have the best large opened beautifully landscaped and safest courtyard with huge walking paths. The courtyard is secured and the residents get to come and go in this courtyard as they please. The staff were very friendly and caring. The residents were in programming and I saw staff doing activities with some residents one on one. This place was very clean and they have very happy residents.

It is with a great deal of pleasure and pride that I recommend Arden Courts as one of, if not the best Memory Care facility in Naples Florida area. Arden Courts is well established, with mNy long term employees starting with Kylie M, a very qualified Executive Director. The facility is blessed with lower than normal employee turnover. The staff and caregivers are experienced and highly motivated. Arden Courts has all the basic necessary requirements for a successful health care facility. They have an excellent healthy menu and the meals are well presented. The facility is clean, well furnished and well maintained. The medical care is also excellent. The diverse Activity Program is a highlight of Arden Courts. Well planned activities are on going each day. Outside quality entrainment is brought in weekly and is very well received by residents. The most popular on house activities involve strong resident participation. Group singing, dancing, Bingo, craft work and other games are enjoyed by all. Most activities require some physical and or mental energy which makes for a lot of fun. Most important however, is the unique attitude possessed by the staff and caregivers. They are compassionate with a strong desire to help others and provide personal attention when necessary. In my opinion that is what makes Arden Courts special! my wife has been a resident of Arden Courts for nineteen months. She frequently says “if you have to be sick, this is a great place to be! I am caretaker for my husband who is 87. I am 81. He has Short Term Memory loss from treatment for prostate cancer. We both need support and help. Arden Courts wad my choice of facility. They offer different services Respite, and residency and daycare services to help, him adjust to the facility. He started with three days a week 9-4. The activities at Arden Courts and the trained enthusiastic staff have changed our life. Physical strength, alertness, engagement have made my husband stronger in many ways. The daily activities include chair yoga, singing, trivia-questions and answers, art projects, musicicians piano, volin, guitar, dance and bus outings. The daily program at Arden Courts is a pleasure to recommend and praise. Thank you Arden Court! I the turlte. IA

I was a rehab patient in this facility for three months following an auto accident. I found competent caring people throughout my stay. Although the building is not new the therapy and care could not have been better. I was fortunate to have a private room. Some of the other rooms are doubles. I did not choose to partake of the activities, as I was concentrating on my therapy. The grounds are wonderful with a pond with wildlife.

ManorCare Health Services at Lely Palms' rooms were very clean and roomy. We had lunch and the food was excellent. My mom was there for a couple of weeks for rehab. The staff was mostly very good, but there was one person who was not very good.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Arden Courts of Lely Palms. My brother-in-law's room was beautifully clean. The bathroom and the room itself were very bright and welcoming. He's been there for almost two months and he's already acclimated. He and all the other patients there are always clean. They have a wonderful system and they have at most 14 people working in what they call a cottage which has four different sections. They eat together in a dining room and it's really open. It's like you're in your own kitchen because someone is standing behind the counter making food and then the caretakers are just bringing it over to their tables. They have a community room in which they get patients involved. My brother-in-law loves it when they sing, and they have games. What's nice is they let them walk around freely. Residents can go outside, but it brings them right back to a door where they can go in, and it's all fenced-in, with gardens and rest areas. They have caretakers who walk around and just keep an eye on the residents. They want the patients to feel like they're not confined. They're very attentive. Their menu is very good and they have three meals a day. They also have a snack time in the community room. Their meals are balanced and my brother-in-law has gained two pounds already. The facility is so clean that you dont even smell anything. Even if one of the patients has an accident, they take care of them right away. Were paying a lot, but it's worth it.

Manorcare at Lely Palms was very old, about 30 years old. It had very large bedrooms, but the place itself was dingy and dark. They should light up the place or put on lighter paint, and they should update. They had activities, but it was just too old fashioned for me. They had villas, and it was like having your own little house, but you have to go to the main building for the meals. The villas had kitchenettes and lanais. Only the 2-bedroom units had washer/dryer. If you are in the 1-bedroom, they had a Laundromat on every floor.

My husband was in ManorCare first, then we had to transfer him because of Medicare and Medicaid, but he’s waitlisted to get back in there. The Northerners come down to Florida during the winter, so they take up the beds and reserve them about a year in advance. I have to wait for them to leave to get a bed back down here in my area. I thought it was great there. Everybody’s really great, which is the reason why it’s my first choice even though it’s a little further away than some of the other places.

I asked at my Dr. Office what was a good place for my soul mate. She looked at my list and recommended Arden Courts because her Father was there. She was very happy with the place and care. I have been very pleased with the care. It starts at the top, from the Administrator, Marketing, Nurses, Receptionists, Care Givers and Director of Entertainment. Everyone is so kind to my soul mate and loving. That caring goes all the way up the organization. The place is clean and the food is good. Any time I had a complaint or suggestion I was listened too with empathy and understanding. The caregivers bring the residents to the activity room for games and socialization. When my soul mate was at home he watched CNN and napped most of the day. Now he's busy all day. He also started to leave the house, which was dangerous. I believe Arden Courts is a good fit for us. There is no place that is perfect. I have experienced many rehabs, nursing over the years. Some places are more attractive then others however that doesn't always measure up to good care.

My husband is in Arden Courts. It is a very wonderful place. I choose it because they accept vets and they are the only place here in Naples who accepts my husband who has to be restraint in the hospital. When he is comes in, all of them meet him in the foyer and takes him to his room. The staff is very caring, helpful and loving to him. They are wonderful. They are also very helpful and accommodating to my family and we can take my husband to church or dinner if we want. All of his treatment is very good. When he first arrives he has a terrible cough, he can't breathe, and they help him through that with medication and loving kindness. He says he loves it there. It is open, they can walk out into a courtyard and they don't feel pinned in. They keep them busy. They have an activity room where they bring in entertainment and things for them to do. My husband has a double room and the way it is situated, you will think that it is a private room because you can't see the other bed and he has plenty of room, a bed and a dresser. It is very comfortable. The dining room is very cheerful. They have flowers in each table and they bring them one by one into the dining room. They have a menu posted on the wall so you know what he is going to eat and the food looks and smells delicious. They make us very comfortable and we are very pleased. I highly recommend them to others.

I got a good feeling about Arden Courts when we visited. It felt all right and it's also close to our home. The staff was fine and very nice to my mom. They have a swimming pool and walkways for the residents. Mom's moving in on May 1st.

The staff at Arden Courts of Lely Palms was wonderful. They're very knowledgeable, accommodating, and compassionate. It is a difficult time for us, because moving someone from their lovely home into any type of facility is an extremely difficult thing to look at, and a tough decision. However, they're very nice and very accommodating. I would say the place is clean. But as far as the exterior of the facility like landscaping, they could use some improvement.

My experience with Manorcare at Lely Palms was a positive one. I found the staff to be polite, prompt and respectful. Everyone was very kind to my mother. I had the impression that they really cared about their patients. When we needed housekeeping services on the fly they were there quickly and did not make a big fuss over anything. They just got things cleaned up and moved on so she wasn't embarrassed. The facilities were clean, modern and in good repair. The halls reminded me of a hotel and the room was spacious. There was plenty of room for all of her things and she had a nice view as well. Although she didn't partake in any of the social activities I was happy and comforted to see that there were plenty of things for her to participate in if she felt so inclined. The meals were healthy and tailored to her specific dietetic needs. She always had someone checking in on her to ensure she had enough water and was comfortable. Overall it was a positive experience and I would recommend this facility to friends.
