Melbourne Terrace Rehabilitation Center was a great place. I stayed there last year for rehabilitation and I had great interaction with the staff. I had physical therapy and I learned how to walk, talk, and do everything again. I had a private room and it was a nice place.

Nursing staff was full of “that’s not my job” individuals. Nurses had no knowledge of care needed without constantly checking computer(computer patient was there for two months!) Night staff often gathered in halls and joked around loudly preventing people from sleeping. Was told showers were only done one day a week, that would have been more than twice as often as they were actually occurring. Staff was vocal about how much they didn’t want to be there, making patient even more anxious. Food ranged from acceptable to unidentifiable unless one went to “bistro”. Extremely upsetting that diabetes care was absolute minimum care possible. PT department was the only place MT shined. Do not leave loved ones here without daily visits, staff attitudes require constant vigilance.

There are thieves in this facility. Our $800 phone was stolen of of my wife's rolling side table. Staff indicated there is nothing they can do. I would recommend any patient to keep nothing of value in the room. I wish I could block payment. I ranked both staff and facility a single star as they were clueless about recovery. There should have been warnings against things of value in the room. Frustrated and mad, Don Williams (husband of patient w/o a phone now)

My mom moved to Melbourne Terrace Rehab Center. She needs special help like bathing and taking care of personal needs, and they fit everything on the bill. It's truly skilled nursing care. Her vitals were taken several times a day, and they administered her medications and everything by registered nurses. They had doctors there and it's everything that I wanted to come together for her. The staff was very friendly, respectful, patient, and very professional. The food is very good. She eats well every day. They have activities every day. She can either participate or not as she wishes. They accept Medicaid as full payment.

Melbourne Terrace is the best facility in Florida! They continue to provide excellent care for my loved one as well as every other resident. Their dedication to empathy, safety and excellence in care should be applauded. Thank you to the leadership team and to all the nursing teams and support staff for what you do!

My stepfather was here for almost a week when he was released from the hospital on very strong antibiotics for a drug-resistant urinary tract infection. I expressed concern about his progress to two administrators, two nursing supervisors, and ALL of the nurses and CNA's as well as the occasional doctor who came by. I was assured every time he was being monitoried. When he finally started seriously hallucinating, we sent him back to the hospital. By that point he was in full delirium and needed a blood transfusion. If you just need physical therapy, this place is probably fine. If you actually need nursing care, go elsewhere.

make sure you have someone with you or your loved one for most of the day. If you want anything other than pt there is no one there and it's impossible to get a nurse on the phone.

My dad was in this facility for several months. I have nothing but good things to say about the nurses, other medical care workers, and the administrators. The facility is clean, the personal care for the patients is beyond reproach.

From all of our family, we want to say thank you to all of the staff and clinicians at Melbourne Terrace. From the exceptional clinical care and timely communications all the way up to the administration and counselors who provided for our father in law in his darkest of days. Knowing the MT team was looking after him provided us some peace and comfort at an extremely difficult time for our family. We will forever be grateful for the entire team- you are truly angels on earth!

I currently have my Dad and my private patient in this facility. I am impressed with the cleanliness, and the staff from intake to the nurses, physical therapists and theCNA's are first rate. The thoroughness of the care, coupled with the physical therapy are both superior. The food is great too. I cannot thank the staff enough!

My wife was just transferred to this facility on 8/13/2021 from Kindren hospital where she was critically ill with bilateral phenomena. From what I have seen at this facility it’s very clean the administration staff is on the ball to help the family. I spoke with Matt who was very helpful very knowledgeable of the facility An more than willing to help the family. I will write another review after a couple weeks when I can see how the nurses An the nurses assistants do with my wife. Mr. Kim.V

Melbourne Terrace Rehabilitation Center was a very, very good rehab facility. It was very clean. The staff was very courteous and very nice and helpful. The food was so-so, sometimes good, sometimes bad like most places. I was there to recover. I was there for rehab and I didn't get into any activities. I didn't get to go out of the room very often and when I did go out, I had to wear a mask, but I didn't have to wear a mask in my room. All the staff wore masks. Their rehabilitation was very good. I didn't have to pay for it, except that I did stay 10 days over the Medicare limit. I had to pay so much a day for 10 days, which I'm still trying to pay off. They have some long-term people there, but I have no idea what they pay, and some of them were in pretty bad shape. The staff was very, very kind, very friendly and very helpful. The facility was very good. They have more than one rehab room where they have different machines and different people. Their occupational therapy wasn't that great, but I didn't need too much of that.

Melbourne Terrace is a rehab facility. We love it. My wife has a suite with a living room and everything else in there. The place is spick and span, and she's in a part where everything's brand new. She has a bedroom, a living room, and a walk-in shower. It's the nicest place I've ever seen. The staff is all right; I haven't had any problems with them. I know she has an area where she works out twice a day. They have a restaurant right inside the place, so it's pretty fancy.

My wife spent two months in rehab. All the employees were very efficient and very friendly. She was 100 percent satisfied with everything and will recommend it to all her friends.

My husband stayed in Melbourne Terrace Rehabilitation Center for rehab, and they moved him over to their long-term care. He seems to be happy with it, it's a clean place, they seem to take good care of him. I get calls regularly from his unit manager and his nurse, and he's followed up. Everything's OK. Every once in a while he complains about the food, but that's normal. They do have us being able to talk to him, to visit with him every other day outside for half an hour. I know there's a library that they can use, and I know at one point they had a room where they showed movies and stuff like that.

My husband is staying at Melbourne Terrace for rehab, and it's been very positive. I'm very pleased with the community in all respects. It's not a rehabilitation hospital, but a community that has rehab at one wing, and the other wing is long-term care, so they have a lot of entertainment, dinners together, and activities for the residents. The people in rehab have access to all of the activities which makes it a lot more of an interesting community place. They have music, live entertainment that comes in at least once a week, and especially around holidays. They have Bingo which a lot of people love, chair yoga, and arts and crafts. The food is very good. The personnel are very good and friendly. The nursing staff is very good. They're overworked but they do the best they can. There's lots of physical therapy offered. It's a well-run organization.
