This place and staff are AMAZING!!! My 98-year old World War II Veteran has been going for a month and what a difference we have seen in him! The bus picks him up in the morning and drops him off in the afternoon. They have medical staff on-hand, entertainment, comfort dogs come in, feed him an awesome lunch and truly care about their clients. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone that is a caretaker for the elderly or Alzheimer’s patient. For 8-hours a day/5-days a week, this place is a Godsend and the staff is absolutely amazing!!!

My father used Joe's Club Adult Daycare Center. I have nothing but praise for them. We started about three years ago until a few weeks ago. It was available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. They had breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They had 80-year-old clients that they cater to, and they all meet together in one large room. They also had an area where they can go outside to get fresh air. They had a lot of good staff, and their activities director was phenomenal, very engaging, and had a real passion for the people there. Everybody there was suffering from memory loss. They had exercise, bingo, games, they bring in entertainment, they had singers and instrumentalists come in, and they had trivia on old TV shows to keep their minds active. They also offer transportation. They can pick you up at your house and take you home when you're through. It's all subsidized, and he only paid $75 a month. It's a tremendous value.

My mother has been going to Joe's Club Adult Daycare Center three days a week for about three months. I really like it and am very impressed with it. They have two nurses on staff plus about seven CNAs, and the rest are volunteers. There's a maximum of about 87 people that they can have day by day. They have support groups for caregivers, different events, and a lot of activities during the day. The people are very nice, and the staff is wonderful. The place is very nice and they just put in brand-new carpeting. It's very reasonable at less than $100 a day. They serve healthy and hot meals, but they could have a better variety. They could have a little bit more socialization activities because they do the same thing every week.

My wife and I toured most of the Palm Bay facilities and went to Joe's Club of Melbourne last. I wanted to take her there two days a week because they had a large population of clients, meaning that there was a high probability that my wife would meet perhaps five people at the same disease stage. The RN was always helpful, and the staff really seemed to care about the clients; it was more than just a job! The monthly activities calendar had many musical events, which is very important to Azheimer's memories.

This is a wonderful facility. As soon as you walk in the door you know that they really care about their clients. As a caregiver I placed my father here and I can honestly say that if I should ever need this kind of care my family knows this is where I would want to be.
