I'm at Life Care Center of Citrus County. It's nice and clean, but the food is not good. They need to improve the taste. For the most part, the CNAs are excellent, but they don't have enough of them. The girls are overworked and they're tired. It took them forever to get here because there weren't that many of them. Maintenance is very good. It's beautiful around here. There are activities, but they're for 90-year-old people. People here can't remember anything. I'm still the same guy I always was.

My mother has been in Life Care Center of Citrus County for a month now, and we are pretty satisfied. The management could show a little more compassion, but as for the people actually taking care of her, we're satisfied. The nursing staff has been very good, very caring, and very attentive. She said the food is reasonably good. She is in a shared room, which is on the small side.

Life Care in Lecanto's managers are very nice. When you go in there for the first time, they come in, talk to you, and introduce themselves; it’s wonderful. I would recommend anybody to go there. The nursing care, the cleanliness, and the thoughtfulness -- I’ve been in quite a few places in the last year-and-a-half or so for physical therapy, and I have friends who had been there and say the same thing. Physical therapy people and the nurses came yesterday, gave me a hug, and told me what a good patient I was and how they like to be with me and wish me luck. They have a little ice cream parlor like you’ve gone down in the street, and you can go and get free ice cream. It’s a very warm community. The meals were good. It offers a lot physically and psychologically with the patient. They have a big activities room, and they have a big bus that takes them to shopping or different things. They have music, dominos, and bingo. They have a sunshine lady; she comes around all the rooms. She is an old woman, but not real old at all. She comes around to make sure everything is OK. If you have any complaints, she talks to the proper people, and she came to see me before I was leaving. It’s been all updated; you can go sit and watch the birds in there. It’s really nice.
