My father was in Solaris HealthCare Lake City for rehab. It was an excellent place. They have absolutely no positive case for covid, they did a lockdown before any other nursing home and hospital, and that allowed them to have a clean bill for covid. It was tough because I can't see my dad, but they would do other things like, he would go in front of the window, or they would take him in front of the glass door. They're very accommodating, and it's immaculately clean. The nurses are great, the rehab people, the physical therapist, occupational therapist, even housekeeping, and social services worker. The business part helped me in getting Medicaid approved for my dad. It's one of the best nursing homes I have ever in contact with. It was a great place for my dad to be. My dad shared a room with another person. They tried to match up people, and so they tried to place another veteran with my dad as a roommate. They've got bingo, ice cream socials, exercise classes whether it be yoga, stretching, or chair aerobics, but they dial it down with the covid.
