Solaris Healthcare Celebration

I just got out of Solaris Healthcare Celebration rehab after being there a hundred days. The first floor is rehab. It was just excellent. It was like a luxurious hotel. The room was wonderful. I didn't go out and sit outside during the hot months as some of them did, but permanent residents did go out and sit outside. I didn't like the heat, but they kept cold water outside, so the people that wanted to go out there could have something to drink. The grounds are nice and pretty. When you walk right in it, it's like you're walking into a hotel. The rooms were all single and the bathrooms were very nice. It was just overall a good experience. The staff was wonderful. I had some pretty good nurses and I had the same ones all the time, which was nice because they got to know you. The OT and PT were just outstanding. They had so many activities, flower arranging, painting classes, movies with popcorn, and entertainers. There was something to do every day, bingo, you name it, they did it. The activities were just excellent. I've been in rehab nursing homes a lot and this is by far the nicest. The food was about medium. It was not bad, but some nights were not good. My husband would bring me a hamburger or something, but you could order off a separate menu if you didn't like what's coming. Being there that long, they rotate the same dinners. Everybody knew your name.
