My brother has moved into The Beacon at Gulf Breeze. The staff is very friendly. The facilities are kept immaculately. They can handle guests with varied needs. So far, we've been extremely pleased, and my brother is very happy. My brother has a studio which is on the small side, but it is a very nice room. They have a media room where they show movies to the guests. They have a game room where they have all different types of games. They have a library onsite. They have a rehabilitative therapy office that has three different types of rehabilitative therapy, OT, PT, and speech therapy. They have a memory care unit so that guests who come in with a cognitive decline or something along those lines can move over to the memory care unit should their needs permit. They also have karaoke. They have a fireside chat daily. They have outings that they take to various places. They can go to museums. They take them on a little ride down to the beach and for ice cream. They take them to local markets. Onsite, they have a putting green in the atrium area, and they also have a bocce ball area. And they have a very nice dining facility, and their menu is really good. They have a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. But if the person can't eat something that's on the menu or they're not interested, then they can order from the ala cart menu. My brother said that the food tastes good and is seasoned well, so he's been pleased.

The Beacon at Gulf Breeze is very nice and attractive. Very comfortable surroundings. The staff who toured me was excellent. They're not only helpful, they're extremely helpful. They referred me to other agencies that could help me like the Veterans Administration. I didn't feel rushed at all. They gave me full-time attention. I was impressed. They had a park area outside where the guests could go out and relax in the sun. It was warm then. The only drawback that I had was the price.

The people at The Beacon at Gulf Breeze were very, very nice and very helpful. The facility was very clean. We are excited to move my father-in-law there. They have a putt-putt course, chess, and a bunch of stuff. They gave us food to try, and it was very good. They had an exercise room, a card table, a movie theater, and a little gym. The 1-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean.

The Beacon at Gulf Breeze was very patient and caring. They put my dad at ease during the tour. They were just excellent. They had a lot of willingness to work with us, as far as timing and budgets. We looked at the 1-bedrooms and studio apartments. They were surprisingly roomy. They had a mini refrigerator and a microwave oven in them, which would be very handy. They had tall ceilings, too. They were very comfortable. I think the price was just fair. The place was very clean. They had a barbershop/beauty shop combination, a movie theater, an activities room, a card room where you could do puzzles, a little library, and a dining area.

The Beacon at Gulf Breeze is something that I wish I had known about a long time ago. The tour experience was amazing. Michael was our tour guide, and he explained everything. He showed us what family members can come and experience with their loved ones. I didn't see anything wrong with it. It would be hard for me to accept that my dad would not want to. This place is awesome. It's close to his dialysis center and it's close to even my house. They have a great menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have the option of doing an ala carte. I have not seen that at any other places. They have transportation if they need it, and they do trips in the assisted living side to like baseball games in Pensacola to see the Wahoos. They go out to eat or to different shopping centers. It's a community within the community and they try to let these people have a good time, make them feel they're not alone, but yet still independent. It's a really good place. They have a variety of rooms that they can choose from and they can start as a studio apartment up to a one-bedroom. If they're still married, for added fees, the spouse can live with them. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are accommodating, no slips, there are bars, and there are chairs in the showers. They take their safety seriously with the guests there. I got to observe the dining hall for dinner, and it's enormous and very spacious. They have room for guests that are in wheelchairs. They even have a separate room if the family wants to come and dine with their loved one. They have karaoke nights, a happy hour, and a movie room. They have recliner chairs in there for them, comfortable seating, and popcorn machines. They have two courtyards, and the one for assisted living has putt-putt golf and outdoor seating. It's like a covered patio area where they can go and eat outside or go in and out all day. It's just beautiful. I got to see their arts and crafts facility there. We got to see the nurses taking care of and serving meds to the guests there. They can have pets in their room or I can bring our dogs to see my dad. I had a chance to look at their menus and these are not regular cafeteria menus. They try to give them a variety of things every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At dinnertime, if they don't like what's on the menu, they have a menu that's ala carte. They can have like a club sandwich or a hamburger with chips or fries. They have a wide variety of drinks that are available to them and it's healthy food. You don't get that at skilled living nursing homes or some of the other facilities where they have a set menu. They give them a pretty good variety of options for their menus. Even some of the guests that we met loved it there. Michael was amazing. He didn't leave anything out. He showed us everything this place has to offer. He was very accommodating and he answered all our questions. Even with figures and numbers, they explained everything very well. There was no confusion. They let us know about the programs that offer assistance to people that may need it. After a certain time, you can have visitors, but people just can't walk in and out. They have that extra protection for the guests and the staff.

We visited The Beacon at Gulf Breeze, it's a very nice place. It was clean and the staff was very attentive to everybody there. We went on a Sunday and they came in on a day off to show us around. The rooms were nice-sized, they were also single rooms. It was just generally a nice facility. They had a schedule posted on what activities they had going on, and they had a bus that would take the residents around.

We just moved my dad into a studio apartment. The rooms are a bit tiny for what you pay, but the peace of mind I have knowing that there are people there to help when needed makes it a little easier. It is very clean and well kept. The courtyard is warm and inviting and it has seating in the shade as well as the sun. My dad like the Happy Hour that they have daily and enjoys the company of other people.

I saw both assisted living and memory care at The Beacon at Gulf Breeze. They're in the same building, and they unlocked the memory care and we walked through there, too. The lady that showed me around was very polite and nice, and they showed me what the rooms looked like. The bigger one was the one we would have been interested in. They had one that was 600 square feet. I liked the fact that you can age in place, and if you need hospice care, you don't have to leave the facility. They can handle that there. They have an ECC license for that. It's an older building, but it's very well kept up, and it's really pretty. There were lots of pale blues and it looked very soothing. The staff was very friendly, very polite, and made you feel welcome. The facility was very nice. They had a beauty/barbershop, and they have live music going on as entertainment. There's a lot of activities going on that they have planned for their residents.

My dad is at The Beacon at Gulf Breeze. He is in memory care and the staff there is friendly and helpful. The place is clean, and it's close to my home, so I'm able to visit him. The food is also good and the facilities are kept up. They just painted the outside of it and the grounds are being worked on, and it is relatively new. They also have some activities, laundry services, and meals.

My father moved to The Beacon at Gulf Breeze last month. It's a nice place, and they will take Medicaid in the future. Everything has been good so far. The food is good. I think they are friendly. It's clean and people seem to care. I've looked at several places, and this is the one I liked.

I went to The Beacon at Gulf Breeze. It's clean, it's neat, everybody looked like they were happy, well dressed and well groomed. The staff was friendly and it looks like the food was good. When I was there, they had the Elvis Presley impersonator for their entertainment and the grounds are well-kept. The staff who assisted me was perfect and wonderful! They had studios and then they had apartments. I know they can take them to places. They have like a van or something and they can take them to the church or the mall or shopping and stuff like that. This was several months ago before the pandemic, I think everything has changed for everybody. They had a courtyard, a beauty salon, and an exercise room.

We found the Beacon at Gulf Breeze for my mother, and it's very good. It's pleasant, and the staff is supportive and friendly. The room is nice, clean, adequate, and the size is fine. The dining area is clean, nice, pleasant, and the food is fine. They go out shopping and for lunch, and they do arts and crafts.

My ex-husband has been at The Beacon at Gulf Breeze for a year now. It's a great facility. The care is good. The only negative is that you're not allowed to have a motorized scooter or motorized wheelchair. The staff is wonderful. The grounds are nice and very well maintained. The location is great. The food could be better. He is in a one-bedroom apartment without a kitchenette. They come in once a week and clean everything. He can't participate in activities, but based on the calendars, they do have activities. They are expensive.
