My dad moved in at Amavida Senior Living. Out of all the places we looked at, this is the most comfortable one and the best fit for him. The facility is very nice. It's like a cruise ship that doesn't move. The staff is very accommodating. They have an activities person there and they have things scheduled and published. There is an allotment of the amount per month for the food, but he opts to cook himself. They need to improve their parking. The way it's laid out, elderlies have to walk quite a long distance. Their dining area also closes at 7 o'clock, which is quite early.

Amavida at Lakes Park was gorgeous, and everybody was friendly. It was updated with bright and beautiful colors. The apartment that I looked at looked brand new. It was absolutely gorgeous and very spacious, and it had a lot of extras. It had a screened-in lanai where I could have my kitties, where they could still be outside. They also have villas with garages. I originally was looking at that, but I think that if I move, I'm going to take one of their apartments because it's closer to the rest of the residents and it would be easier to socialize. The dining area was beautiful. The tour staff was great, too. I couldn't find anything wrong with it.

Amavida Senior Living is a new facility, it just got built this past year, and it just opened up. It's a beautiful place, it's very well appointed, they have everything you can imagine, and they do offer additional services as far as the type of place you would live. You can start as independent, and then they can move you to a higher care assisted or even a nursing home type thing. They have everything you can imagine, it's a first-class type of place. The staff was fine, very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and did a grand tour. I saw a model apartment and had a look at the amenities.

I went to Amavida Senior Living. It was a newer facility, so it was bigger and brighter and it seemed less confining. And very nice sized rooms. They offered a lot of the same amenities as the other places. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We did have food there. They had a nice menu and the food that we got was overcooked, so it wasn't as delicious as it could be, but the variety was good.

Our experience with Amavida Senior Living was very nice. It was a very nice place. We had lunch there, and the food was very good. The staff was very nice. They have a lap pool that my husband likes because he swims laps, and then they have a big gym and another pool. The living atmosphere was very nice. The apartment that they showed us was very nice. The food was delicious. My husband had grouper, which was really good. I had enchiladas, and it was very good too.

My dad moved to Amavida Living, it's a luxury assisted living and it's the finest in the area. The place is very clean and very homey, and the staff members are very kind. Every Wednesday, they have entertainment and dancing in the lobby, happy hour from 3:00 to 5:00 every day, and they also have games and movies every day. The food is fantastic, they have a very good menu with lots of variety. The staff is very hospitable, patient, and kind. It's one of the most expensive ones in the area.

Our experience living here in Amavida Senior Living has been good. The staff is very good and very caring, and the place is clean, bright, very clean, and has a very pleasant atmosphere. There's a little courtyard off in the main area that has a swimming pool in it. I just think their activities are geared toward an older group than us.

The tour I had of Amavida Senior Living was good and informative. The tour guide was very pleasant and very nice. I'm looking seriously for more information on that place. It's new and very well thought out. The apartments were very nice. It's just a very pleasant community. There was lots of green. I was very pleased with it, plus it's also a very reasonable price. There's a one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath. They're not huge square footage wise, but well organized with lots of closets. It's good, and the kitchen was good. It was a nice, complete kitchen. The dining areas were very nice. They have two restaurants, one for casual and one more formal, with tablecloths for evening dining, and the menu looked wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They had a very nice fitness room with a lot of equipment, not just a treadmill and a bicycle. It's quite well furnished. There were two pools, a lap pool, and a regular pool. There was an art studio. It had everything I wanted. Upkeep and maintenance were excellent. It's clean and sparkling. Everything was great.

We've chosen Amavida Senior Living, and my parents will move in next month. It has all the amenities that a person who needs assisted living would enjoy or would want, including pools and meals and the care they need. They have a fitness room. They have at least three restaurants, a bar area, a social area, and a community area with the library. They have a place where you can get periodicals, that's just a coffee bar, we call it. They have some outdoor recreation areas like a bocce area. The staff has been fantastic. They are very, very responsive and incredibly nice, we needed additional information and they got us the information we need. The room is a one-bedroom, two-bathroom has a living room, and also has windows, two closets, a kitchenette, and a very sunlit area that sunlight can go through. There's a lot of windows, large windows. The dining area is a sit-down restaurant-style dining room. It's a relatively new facility, it looks very maintained, I didn't see any problems at all, and the room that my parents will be going in was just renovated, so it was in very good shape.

We went to Amavida Senior Living. It was very nice, it's very well kept, clean, and there were a lot of activities. They have swimming-type classes, cards and things like that, a movie theater. They have a pool and they have bars, which is always nice. We didn't have an opportunity to try out any food that they have, but my sister's going back there with my mom tomorrow, I believe. We liked the fact that it had different levels of care, the independent, the assisted, and the memory care, all in one campus. That was a plus for us. The staff was very good, knowledgeable, and they were able to answer all of our concerns and questions. They have shuttles that go to some of the nearby stores and things like that. My mom still drives, so that wasn't an issue at this point, but they do have shuttles that take them to some of the local malls, some of the other stores around there, and to doctor appointments and things.

We toured Amavida Senior Living. It was fairly new, and it was clean. It was by the lake and by a park; mom likes to walk. I think it was just too large for her. The staff was very informative. We only met the one staff member. They did have a lot of activities, probably more than what my mother would be willing to partake in. She just felt it was too big, so we really didn't concentrate a lot on it.

My mom moved into Amavida Senior Living. She's in independent living. It's a very friendly and caring environment with lots of activities that she's been able to join in. She goes to their exercise classes, she truly enjoys that. She's gone to a few of the movies too. They have a Fourth of July activity that she's going to be doing. The dining room people are very friendly and the food is good. She just, for the first time, signed up for one of their shopping trips. She's still getting settled, but she's finding nice things to do. The staff is extremely friendly, caring, and very responsive. It's been a very good experience. I've been down there several times and the food is always excellent. We haven't had anything less than good. I also think it's a very reasonable price for everything that she gets.

The one thing that we didn't like about Amavida Senior Living was the room layout. The room didn't have the bedroom connected to the bathroom. You have to walk out of the bedroom and around to get to the bathroom. I think that was the main concern. Everything else, including the fixtures, was very nice. We're actually looking for respite care for my mom. A positive of Amavida Senior Living was that their respite care could extend beyond 30 days, because we're not sure how long she's going to need respite care. The location is a positive, just personally for us. It's a little bit closer to her grandson. The staff was very polite and friendly. It was clean, and it felt homey. They had a library, a pool, restaurant-style dining, outdoor seating with a firepit, a theater, and a workout/physical therapy room.

We have been very impressed with everyone we have met and talked with at Amavida Senior Living. Everyone has been very nice. We haven't made any decisions, but we are happy with all of them. They took us through, we saw a sample room, and we saw the dining area, the recreation area, and different programs they offer. Everybody was very helpful; we didn't have a single bad experience any place.

Amavida Senior Living was the best of all the community I've visited. The apartments were ample size. I was looking at independent living. The courtyard, the grounds, the dining room, it's all much newer than the other places I looked at so I was more impressed. All of the different sections have their own courtyards so there were a lot of outdoor spaces. The apartments go right out into the courtyard, it's right out your backdoor and I like that feature. I saw a swimming pool, I saw an exercise class, I saw a Bingo being played, I saw Backgammon, and I saw several other things going on. It's very clean.

Amavida Senior Living is a brand new facility, lovely, and we talked to some of the staff that were walking in the halls, and they seemed to be happy working there. We talked to a couple of residents, too. We got to have lunch there and we took a tour with 2 different sales associates, one who was experienced and one who was learning the ropes. They had a hair styling salon on property which we liked because my mother-in-law uses that service. The lunch at the cafeteria or restaurant was lovely, we liked the pool, and the rooms were very nice. It's the number one in our list, and we're looking forward to moving my mother-in-law there.

My mother-in-law is moving in to Amavida's independent living in December. I have been a part of the decision making process, have toured the community many times, and had a number of meals as well. It is brand new, modern, and the staff is very friendly. I'm excited for my mom and look forward to visiting just as much.

Amavida Living is a very modern-looking place. The whole building is white and very structured and not interesting looking. It had everything from senior living to medical care. It's very stern, and there was no warmth in it. It was very contemporary. The units were extremely small and the majority of the people there were women. There's a little bit of physical therapy and games. It was just not for me because I'm very healthy. These women had little pushcarts that they got around on. I might consider it 10 years from now.
