My husband has moved into Symphony at Delray Beach. The professionalism, the cleanliness, the activities they offer, and the location were perfect for us. It's only 6 minutes from my house. The place is gorgeous. My husband likes the food. If he likes it, then I know it's good. It's red snapper, codfish, and salmon. It's very good. My husband has his own condo, and he does everything on his own, but he's just there mainly to give me rest. I was his sole caregiver, and that's the main reason that we went in there. His apartment is beautiful. It has a huge bathroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bedroom.

Additional Amenity Information
- Activities: true
- Special Comment: We also understand that sometimes needed care is determined by memory loss due to Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. That’s why we have introduced our new level of memory care. Our program, called In the Moment® memory care, features a unique approach to helping those with this progressive illness get the most out of every day. We don’t simply carry out scheduled activities — we engage the resident in the moment they are experiencing right now... and help them to get the most out of each and every day.

I toured Symphony at Delray Beach. The first apartment I saw was a model, very beautifully appointed and the bathroom was huge, very big which is good. The people were very easy to talk to. The place is very clean, very nice. They don't have a pool. It was a pleasant experience. I met a person who cuts hair, which is very nice. The salon is very neat and very clean.

I went to Symphony at Delray Beach for a tour. It's very homey, and they have a nice staff. The layout was nice, and they have nice-sized rooms. The food was on the bland side though. For activities, they have entertainment, music, and singing.

I toured Symphony at Delray Beach. I would pick Symphony because it's a mile from where I live. It's not because it's a big room. They don't even have a closet to offer my father. I have to buy stuff so he can store clothes. They loaned him an armoire, but that's not enough to place his clothes. There's no closet. They have a gym for rehab, so if he's injured, he can rehab there.

We loved Symphony at Delray Beach. It was lovely. Kathy was the lady who helped us and she was so nice. That was our number three choice, but we just ultimately decided that Delray Beach wasn't the right location. We would have picked it if they had been in Boyton, and that was only our preference. There was nothing wrong with their location. It's clean and all brand new. The studio was gorgeous. They had a move-in special that would have been helpful.

I liked Symphony at Delray Beach. It's new and clean. I loved the dining room. It had a very upscale restaurant feeling, and there was also an outdoor area. I liked the room. They were big and modern. I liked that they had a little movie theater for the residents. People who are shy and introverted, still had something to do because most of the activities are meant to make people interact with each other, but not everybody can do that regularly. It had a very big welcome area and the staff was quite friendly. The place was clean and bright. The only thing that they didn't have was a pool. I think a pool is not necessary, but a lot of elderly people exercise in the pool because it's less strenuous.

Symphony at Delray Beach is very expensive but beautiful. The memory care facility is in a different section, but it's perfect for people with Alzheimer's. It's spotless and very lovely. You have to furnish your room yourself. It's not like a nursing home. They charge by the room, and then they add the nursing care on top of that. So it rates on how much care you need. It's very professional. I highly recommend it. The staff members were wonderful, helpful, kind, generous with their time, and empathetic. They listen and contribute. So it was a very pleasant experience. The facility is big and spacious. They have lovely outdoor spaces. They have a wonderful dining area and a movie theater. It looks very social.

I toured Symphony at Delray Beach for my husband, and I wasn't very impressed with it that much. I saw a lot of people with their own private aid, which means to me that the place is not supplying enough care to the residents, so that was a red flag for me. If you're paying that much money per month, you should not have to hire additional people. I didn't feel that the level of care that my husband would receive would be sufficient. Also, it was a lot bigger, and a lot more walking, and that's my husband's problem. At this point, he can't walk by himself. He can stand, but he can't go anywhere, and he needs a wheelchair. My hope is that he can improve while he's there, and he can use a walker independently, which is how he was before he went into the hospital and the rehab. I would like to at least get back the skills that he lost, and I didn't think that Symphony would do that for him. The rooms are very pretty, but I think it was physically harder to negotiate. I asked them about the food, and they gave me two menus to see what was being served, and that there were choices, which is good because my husband is a picky eater. He's very slim, and he doesn't eat very much, so it's nice to have variety for him. The facility was very clean and well kept.
