I can't think of anything that I don't like about Meadowcrest at Middletown. My father has been there for about a week now, and so far, everything has been positive. I like that even though it's an independent care facility, there is some light monitoring to ensure the safety of my father while he's there and I think that's nice. I also like that they have plenty of amenities that he has access to, such as a game room, a gym, and a media room. They have a lot of facilities that I think he'll be able to take advantage of. I also like their restaurants. So far, the food from what I could tell seems to be pretty good and the service seems to be excellent. It's a very clean place. So far, the service and the staffing are pretty good. For activities, they had good Veterans Day activities this past weekend.

Meadowcrest at Middletown was a beautiful facility. There's no question about it. I was just a little surprised that the apartment units were as small as they were. The two bedroom unit was adequate, but you certainly couldn't put a full set of furniture in the living room. The restaurant facilities and activities looked excellent though. The staff were very friendly and seemed well informed. Their food was very good.

Meadowcrest at Middletown was a beautiful place. The lady was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very nice. She knew everything that she had to know. She even gave me advice on how to get extra help. The common area was beautiful. However, they only provide you with a certain amount of meals and the rest comes out of your pocket. If I had to go in there, I wouldn't think twice, but it was just costly. It looked clean. I didn't smell anything. I saw a lot of different rooms and different activities going on, which looked good. I saw some people playing a puzzle and others just walking around and watching TV. They just do whatever they wanted to do.

I toured Meadowcrest at Middletown, and I absolutely loved it. They have semi-private rooms, and it was nice. It had more room than I thought it would have for a shared room. I also visited a single room, and it was rather a nice size. There's a lot of room in there and a lot of furniture. Everything in the entire facility was well-kept. I saw the people that were in there. They were all happy, smiling, and talking to you. The staff was very pleasant. They greeted you and said hi to you as you saw them, even in the hall down in memory care. Some of the people were sitting around tables and conversing, and some of them were sitting around watching the television. I saw where their dining area was, and it was set up rather nicely. They have tea and water in there for their residents to get drinks and some snacks throughout the day (if they need any). The whole place was very clean. I saw their salon and an exercise room. They had beautiful outside places for you to go and sit outside. You would actually see nature, instead of another building or some industrial place. It was like being in a forest with a lot of trees, instead of the middle of the city.

Meadowcrest At Middletown is brand new and it is beautiful. It is quite luxurious compared to the others, I've visited with high ceilings and big windows, and they have nurses on-site doing physical and occupational therapy. They have other exercise classes, yoga classes, and all kinds of physical fitness things going on. They have lots of common spaces. They have lots of activities, some large multi-purpose type rooms, and some small areas where people could gather. The dining area was quite nice. The location is right off two major highways, so it's very accessible to people in Delaware. It's kind of centrally located.
