Rooms were OK. Had a window in my room that provided sunshine for most of day. The food was gross. One meal sticks out - so called lasagna tasted like Chef-boy-ar-dee with melted white cheese on top. Also, no diet modifications for diabetic patients, although there was a selection available. Almost all fruit served was canned fruit in heavy syrup, never good for diabetics with its high sugar content. Vegetables served were overcooked or tasted as if left in a pot + burned. Most vegetables tasted as if they were canned + most likely high in sodium/salt, not a good food item for patients needing to control their salt intake to reduce blood pressure. The fresh water + ice tasted great. Services provided were minimal for a stroke patient. Nursing staff failed to provide info on what meds were given + became argumentative when aske, days to get shower + other services. Drugged + then given extreme laxative doses to correct failure to have a bowel movement. The subsequent laxative doses resulted in extreme diarrhea, which caused pain.
