Welcome to Santa Fe Towers! Santa Fe Towers Apartments is a 250 unit, twelve story high rise that overlooks the serene setting of Santa Fe Commons Park in Downtown Overland Park, Kansas. The Santa Fe Commons Park offers the residents of Santa Fe Towers an ideal setting for walks, as well as activities in the summer such as Music in the Park, and the Overland Park Fall Festival in late September.Santa Fe Towers Apartments is within walking distance of Downtown Overland Park, Kansas which has a Farmer’s Market open Wednesdays and Saturdays from mid April to mid September. The Downtown area also offers a variety of shops and casual dining. Three pharmacies offer delivery to residents at Santa Fe Towers; they are the Medicine Shoppe, Price Chopper Pharmacy and Hy-Vee Pharmacy. In addition to prescription delivery, Price Chopper and Hy-Vee grocery stores deliver groceries to residents for a delivery fee of $5.00.The floor plans that Santa Fe Towers offers are one bedroom apartments; the square footage is approximately 550 square feet.Handicap accessible apartments are also available and they are 588 square feet, and offer a walk in shower, lower counter tops and wider doorways to accommodate for wheelchairs and walkers. There are ten two bedroom apartments at Santa Fe Towers which measure 748 square feet. All appliances in the apartments are electric, and each tenant receives a utility allowance that comes off of the rent monthly. Tenants are responsible for paying for the remainder of the electric bill which is thru KCP&L, cable and telephone. There is a laundry room on the first floor of the building that is open 24 hours a day, and costs a $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry coin operated with quarters. Santa Fe Towers has a residents association who organize activities throughout the year for the building, such as bake sales, monthly birthday parties, game nights and bus trips to various locations in Kansas City. During the holiday season school aged choirs come in to perform for the residents, and from time to time bands perform for the residents as well.
