Dining is really great! If you don't like what is offered, they will make something more to your taste. The food is always good, though, and we eat here with my mom frequently. The care staff is kind, patient, and well trained with dementia. We love that dementia is all they do here, so we know we have professionals. The activities are geared towards stimulating the residents in ways to engage their brain and help remember things they may have forgotten. They are always upbeat and enthusiastic. They go on field trips and have live entertainers, too!

Directors are not truthful. State should investigate this facility. Medication not given at appropriate times. Not enough staff. RN Designee is rude and disrespectful!

Needs to be investigated by the state! RN’s make tons of medication errors! Director doesn’t address issues. Don’t bring anyone you love there!

Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk was absolutely beautiful and the people were fantastic. The chef came to meet us when we went to be interviewed and we were told how great the food was, what he prepares, and how he does it. The staff member gave us a beautiful tour. The rooms and everything else were very clean. All the rooms had a private bathroom. They had activities and music for the residents, and everybody was participating; there were no grumps in the corner, everyone was really nice. The staff was with them and they made sure that the residents were comfortable. The staff was super, and I still hear from them. The girl who interviewed me called to check on me and wanted to make sure I got my groceries, and if not she said she'd come to get my groceries for me. That's how nice they were. They made a special dessert for us the day we went there, and there were all kinds of homemade cookies for us to bring home. It's a very well-maintained community, the employees all seem to know their job, and when they would see us walking around they took the time to stop to say hello. It was really nice.

Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk is very nice. The staff is very caring and everything works out very nicely. The size of our aunt's room is nice, the layout is wonderful and it's convenient to all the nurses there. They have all kinds of things for the residents. They have patios that you can walk out to, they have exercise classes and so on.
