Great service, especially the Rehab department. The food is really good, you can have basically anything you want. The nurses are great, the doctor cares a lot. The CNAs always get me what I need as soon as possible even though they sometimes can’t get it right then. It’s clean and well taken care of. Housekeeping and laundry are really great. They use whatever I require as far as special soaps. If you’re allergic to stuff they make sure you are able to handle the products they use. They are so considerate about my special needs. It’s a great place for part time care or full time care. They helped me get back on my feet so I could go back home.

As a former Assisted Living Manager, I have been very pleased to see the improvement in Resident care and facility maintenance at Yuma Life Care Center in just the past year. Previously, 1) there were the overwhelming smells that were not addressed quickly 2) the food quality was mediocre at best, 3) the Residents were scattered up and down the halls in various states of dress and alertness in their wheelchairs, and 4) the Activities were poorly designed for fun nor for interest. How many times can you play Bingo? Only ONE major change was made that I can see and that was to hire a qualified, caring, compassionate Director of Nursing. I think her name is Diane. I heard that she started firing help right and left when duties were neglected or proper care was not given... RESULT: The quality of help quickly improved rapidly and the new Staff members knew their job performance had to meet higher standards. A former Assisted Living Resident of mine now lives at Yuma Life Care, and I try to visit her at least weekly. NOW, she is very happy and cared for each time I visit her. The difference is visible and so appreciated by those of us who love the people in their care. Yuma Life Care staff, thanks for all you do.
