Knowing there is as little store where residents could but little snacks or basic necessities was good to know. Also, being able to watch our loved one's progress with therapy was incredible. I didn't feel the dietary needs were meet for one with diabetes.

The staff was very very caring and attentive to my mother who was in the beginning stages of dementia. The billing office was fantastic to work with. The way they were remodeling the unit was wonderful.

The rooms are small for 2 residents especially if there are wheelchairs and other equipment. They do keep it pretty clean though.

The first thing you notice when walking in this facility is the homelike atmosphere. The customer service is outstanding! I was greeted right away and all my questions were answered. As I was walking to my friends room , I noticed The residents were busy with activities and social hour not just hanging out doing nothing. My friend said the food was great. I would highly recommend this facility.

Minnequa Medicenter is a 110-bed facility. Normally they have one RN on staff that's working the floor. They have four to five LPNs on two shifts on their graveyard shift. Their dining room was large and clean, but they don't offer a whole lot of variety in their meals. The food is cooked there and its decent and good. They have an activity director and an activity room, but very little is done. They offer cooking programs for the ladies who want to cook. Their day room was good and had a TV. Most of the rooms were double occupancy. It's not as clean as it should have been.
