We have chosen Bonaventure of Pueblo for my brother-in-law. He doesn't need any kind of care, he just needs a place to live. It was just wonderful to find a place that was perfect for him. His apartment has a terrace that he can go out to. It also has a sitting area, a bedroom, and a kitchen. He has his own phone, internet, and television. Church is very important to him and this facility has a Catholic church onsite. That, in itself, made the whole place. They go shopping once a week. The residents are all friendly because he already made a friend out of the resident next door within an hour of him arriving there. I'm just really very happy with this place. The facility itself is very nice and very well put together. The staff is extremely helpful and they still are terrific. They are so polite and sweet. I just love the staff there. I'm impressed with the fact that he can choose two meals a day. We can also eat with him there if we want to, and we can even stay overnight with him. That is a real plus. When I went into the elevator, there was a month-long schedule of activities that the residents could do. I would definitely recommend this facility.

My father moved into Bonaventure of Pueblo. It's a very nice community. It seems to be well taken care of. The residents all seem very pleasant. What I like least about it is we were given incorrect information. We weren't always told the truth. After you move in, they pretty much avoid you like the plague. The management staff is horrible. The regular staff, they're all pretty good. They're all very helpful, kind, and courteous. The staff management is not. The facility is very good. They do offer a lot of activities. There's not a big participation. A lot of people don't participate in the activities.

I toured Bonaventure of Pueblo. It was a new facility and quite a bit large. I only had a chance to meet the girl who was touring me, and she was very informative. I got every question that I had answered. The dining area looked more like a family type. There were tables, I don't remember exactly how many people could sit around each table, but nobody sitting by themselves. The facility looked very nice. It looked to me like it was being taken care of very well, good maintenance staff.

Bonaventure of Pueblo was extremely expensive. It's probably the most luxurious one that's here, that's why it's so high. They were cordial and they showed me the one- and two-bedrooms and they were beautiful, but they're up at the $5000 mark. They were new. The design of the rooms and the colors that they used were just beautiful. If you have a lot of money and you don't mind spending it, then Bonaventure is probably the one for you. The staff was very professional. They knew what they were talking about, and they showed me everything. It was a beautiful place. It's just way too expensive for me. If the person is willing to pay over $5000 a month to live in a senior living, then that's what I would recommend.

Bonaventure of Pueblo was a very clean facility. They had a nice theater room and a lounge where they could play pool and have a drink. They had a happy hour there. They had a game room with board games and card games and a nice exercise facility. They were having their lunch while we were walking around and it looked like really good food. Everybody was nice there, and the staff was very friendly. They had 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, but they didn't have any studios.

We toured Bonaventure of Pueblo, and that was pretty nice. The facilities were nice, and the people seemed helpful. They were professional, they seemed to have the information. The rooms were nice and kept up well. The people were alert and friendly.

I can not believe how much my husband pays for his family member in memory care. There are any where from 22-24 residents there who’s family’s pay from $6,800 to $7,000 per month. There are only 2 staff members there at all times. It helps when hospice is in taking care of a few residents for a couple of hours, but in general, there are only 2, TWO, people there to care for our family, to clean, to do whatever is needed for up to 24 people. It is sickening! That is a lot of money to pay for each month for really crappy care. We have gone weekly, and our family members room is a total mess, no one is around to help, and cannot be found. I’m not blaming the workers. They are working their asses off. It is definitely the company. They charge absorption amounts for really crappy care. I don’t think they would want their own family members living in there. So sad that this is supposed to be the best for Pueblo. I wouldn’t put my enemy there.

My dad was in Bonaventure of Pueblo and the care sucked. We had nothing but problems there, so we're not too happy with it at all. They promised to have transportation for his dialysis. On my dad's first dialysis day they had no transport. They didn't have him ready. I had to drive there at 6:00 in the morning. They didn't given him his medications on time like they were supposed to. The TVs weren't connected in his room, which was supposed to be done, and none of the call buttons worked. My sister was there with him, and they called and called and called and called on every call button, including the one on his wrist, and nobody came. He went into cardiac arrest. If it wasn't for me and my other sister living close by, he would have died. We called the ambulance. I looked at the food when they brought it. My dad usually didn't eat any of it because he was on a renal diet, and he could only have so much sodium. I have no idea how much sodium is in any of the food. The activities were great, but my dad hadn't been able to use any of them. It's overpriced. I was not getting my money's worth. When 6:00 hits, there is nobody around.

Bonaventure of Pueblo was a nice place. It's just that it's so big and even in their memory care, mom would have a studio apartment with no chance of a roommate. I just thought with dementia, she would get kind of lost in the shuffle, but it's a nice place. It's a beautiful place. They have assisted living and a memory care center that's locked down because it's for people with dementia, and they can't just wander out. It was nice. I didn't care for the memory part as much as I liked the regular part, but I wasn't sure where mom would end up. I looked at both assisted living and memory care. They had activities, but I only visited it one time. I wasn't there long enough to see the activities, but they had stuff set up where they could do different things and they had exercising and stretching. The rooms were nice. It was too pricy though. I only met a couple of the staff and they were very courteous. They had about everything you could think of. I saw a studio apartment and a memory care room. I didn't get to go all the way in because they didn't have one that was open. The one in the memory care was a lot smaller and cozier. In the one in the assisted living, you could get a separate bedroom. I saw one with a bedroom and a bathroom and the other was a studio with a bathroom and they were nice. It was clean.

My parents are staying in Bonaventure of Pueblo. The amenities are great, but I can tell you that the maintenance there is not. They were very misleading; they said they have a full-time maintenance guy and my mom's wind chimes are still not put up. I know that my father and my mother are very unhappy with the food, the quality and portion and portions of the food. It is unfortunate because they did put on a dog and pony show for them to sell their unit. It seems like once they got in, it was that kind of a rope and dope situation. It's beautiful there, but it's understaffed and the food is not good. They're trying, but they're understaffed. They have lots of activities, little bingo pool tables, shuffleboard, and Jacuzzi. They have a gym and a theater. That's a beautiful facility. The only thing that's lacking is the food.

Bonaventure of Pueblo was just so clean and such a pleasant setting. I was impressed with the staff. They knew all of the residents by their names and greeted them. It seemed more like a very nice place. It was a comfortable home setting, not a nursing home feeling at all. The girl who took us through was just very informative and really friendly. It seemed like they had a lot to offer too. They have a salon, nail care, library, rooms where they can go and visit and play games, and a very nice eating area.

My father is in Bonaventure of Pueblo. It's been a positive experience. It's a very nice community, it's very well equipped, and there are lots of amenities. There have been some billing issues that I've had to take to the administration, but they've been successfully resolved. Any issues that we have had, we've done the same; we've just taken them to the administration and they've been resolved. We're happy with it. He's living in assisted living because of his wife, but he's actually independent. He's at the independent living care level, but living in an assisted living room with his wife. The food is very good and if you don't want what's on the menu, you can order what you want. They're very accommodating that way. They have a pub upstairs that has billiards and shuffleboard, and they can have a glass of wine and just visit. They have another card-playing area, an activities room, and a library, and they shuttle patients back and forth from appointments if necessary. They have lots of activities now that COVID is over, like parties and that kind of stuff. They have a one-bedroom and it's very spacious. We're lucky we're on the ground floor in a corner unit, so it has two windows in the living room and two windows in the bedroom, so it's very spacious and very nice. The staff is very good.

My mom moved into Bonaventure of Pueblo. It is excellent. Our experience is wonderful. They are very accommodating. They made the whole process very smooth, without a hitch. The staff is excellent. It's been on shutdown due to Covid-19, so we're only able to visit her through the screen or outside during warm days. They are very accommodating, and they will help you along the way in moving your loved ones in. The food is excellent.

Bonaventure of Pueblo is fairly new and it's very pleasant. They have all the amenities, a gymnasium, dining room, a library, and nice lounge areas. It looked like a pleasant place to be. The staff was very friendly and they handled the elderly people like myself well. I toured the dining facilities and they were very clean. I looked at their menu and it looked very tempting. They had a nice salad bar.

Make sure your resident is able to fully care for themselves. Do not rely on them for assistance even though they claim to offer as much help as needed. My father was not bathed, fed, or given the correct meds.

When my sister lost her husband, I researched senior living residents. Only one met her needs. Since I live near by, I visit often and know from personal observation that it has a resort atmosphere, is inhabited by interesting people, and is staffed by caring individuals. The food is good and provides a variety of choice. Activities are geared to the various levels of participant abilities and encourage friendly, social interchange. Transportation is provided for doctor visits and personal shopping needs. Apartments are spacious and have weekly housekeeping services. I am happy to say my sister is very grateful to be living there.

Since my family member has been in the Memory Care Unit we have seen such an improvement in the way they take care of the residents. First, the staff is caring, consistent, and hard working. I see the same workers day in and day out and that is so good for the memory care resident. Plus, the workers always take time to talk to us about our family member and our concerns. Next my family members room always looks clean and smells good. The other areas of the facility are also clean. The activities provided by the activities director are fabulous. She has the residence involved with activities that involve the whole body, movements and brain activities. The facility is decorated so nice with a lot for the residence to look at. There is also plenty of windows to let in the natural light.

what reflects with what I have heard about this community prior to coming in for a tour truly lines up with the core values they carry out day to day. I'm very impressed with how family oriented this community is and how welcomed they made me feel. Their dedication to meeting and exceeding the needs of others and their family's quality of care is evident. This is a community that truly goes above and beyond.

Bonaventure of Pueblo is excellent. It is extremely nice and relatively new. We saw a one-bedroom, which was very nice. The staff members were excellent. They tried to help us in every way possible. They really wanted my mom to come at their place. We had a meal there, and it was excellent.

My mother is in Bonaventure of Pueblo. It's beautiful, and we're very happy with it. The staff is great. They helped us and pointed us in the right direction financially. We met with the director and the head of nursing. She's got physical therapy and occupational therapy. We were able to move some of her own furniture and decorate the room however we wanted. The dining area is great and right near the room and right down the hall, and it's very clean and nice. It looks like you're in someone's home. The food we ate was fine. There's a locked cupboard in her room, and we brought snacks in. My sister feeds her every day. They have movies, music, Catholic service, a chapel where we did a little devotional, and exercise activities.

I liked everything about Bonaventure of Pueblo, but my husband wanted a villa rather than an apartment. He thought it was not as well-built as the other place. They had a lot of activities. This is the one that my friend was in before. What she liked about this one was everything was included there. She only had a certain amount of time where she could have nurses or the aides come in and help her, and they don't charge extra for their visits. I liked their food a little bit better. The staff was very friendly. I spent a lot of time there because of my friend. The rooms were nice and spacious, and I liked them. It's a nice community. They've had a lot of turnover in staff, and the ones that I've met were very nice. I liked their layout.

I will never put someone I love in a place that can get tons of air freshness to mask urine smell... the kitchen is so disgusting like literally would make u sick to see it... photos have been taken. Staff keEpson incontinence and other trash in the kitchen by the door... constantly wrong dose of meds are given... sometimes to the wrong person... trust me I lived it.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for Mike M and his staff at the Pueblo Facility. I have had occasion to visit the facility on several occasions. The facility cleanliness and friendliness of staff is of the highest quality. I have a relative and a church member who lives at Bonaventure of Pueblo. Mike goes out of his way to accommodate and provide positive outreach to the community. I want to thank the entire staff at Bonaventure and give Mike an excellent accommodation.

My parents really like the food. It makes it feel like home when family members are able to share meals in the dining room. The staff is attentive and do a good job of keeping them clean. The facility is beautiful. The transportation team has been a big help for us.

Overall, I was happy with the staff when I first entered the "memory care unit" and remain as such with them; as they did all they could to assist us. One issue that was evident was cleanliness of the rooms and resident bathrooms. When discussed with the staff, they informed us that they do not have a regular cleaning crew. Cleaning of the memory care unit is done "once" weekly. This is insufficient. NO nursing facility I have ever visited would do this. Cleaning of the unit to include the resident rooms must be done every day.

The food at Bonaventure of Pueblo is very good and a balanced diet with salad, protein, and veggies. Everything is very nice, clean, immaculate, and very well kept. The hallways are clean with beautiful pictures. The restrooms are also so clean. It's just a very nice place.

Bonaventure of Pueblo is a newly constructed senior residence with all levels of care. The personnel was very helpful and able to answer our questions. They were friendly and gave me a tour. I visited there before everything was complete, but it was near completion. It is close to a medical clinic with a number of different specialty doctors as well as close to a beautiful YMCA that offers many senior programs. I met with the administrator and his assistant who gave me the tour. They were responsive to my request for a tour, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was a very good experience. I was able to look at two models: a two-bedroom, two-bath and a two-bedroom, one-bath. Again, it is all new construction, so it was very nice. I did find, though, that they had angled walls that seemed to cut off a lot of the living space in the room. That might have been more appreciated had they not gone with that architectural style. Other than that, everything was new construction. They were nicely appointed without being really high-end, so it was still very affordable.
