My father is in Pine Grove Crossing. We got it from my wife's boss, whose dad's in there. The staff is A-plus, very caring, and very informative. I get calls all the time if my dad's condition changes or they want to update me on stuff. So, we have very good communication. I can't say enough about the nursing care he gets. I'm very happy there. Dad has just kind of a studio. It does have a sink, a microwave, and a fridge, and then just a little area for him to sit down with his TV and his bed being in the same room, and then a full bathroom with obviously a shower and a closet. It's a fairly small room, about 600 square feet, but very nice. They have a lot of different activities that go on. They have crafts, and they have people come in and talk to the seniors. They have a really good facility for food, which is open most all the time and not just at mealtimes, so the residents have a chance to go down there and eat when they want to. They have a physical therapy unit there. They have a hair salon there. It has kind of a hotel atmosphere. It's very nice. The dining area is very big for all the residents. They have separate private dining if you want to have families in there. It's very nicely laid out. It's easy access for anybody in any condition, wheelchairs, walkers, etc. It's a very nice facility. Compared to what I came from, this one, it was night and day. They have a very good staff. They're very experienced, and there's not a lot of turnover there. The staff remains there, so that's kind of important to me as well. The food would be probably right up there. I have not had it to myself, but they have a full menu, and they make whatever they want for the residents. They change meals on Friday nights and Saturday nights. They have specialty dishes like salmon or prime rib. It's a really good food facility. It's very clean. Nothing looks damaged. It looks like a brand-new facility. I know it's been there for a little while, but it's very well maintained. Maintenance staff is readily available. My dad is not involved with activities much. He's got severe dementia, but they have a lot of different activities. They have a list that they hang on the door of all the residents weekly on the schedule of activities, arts and crafts, etc. For the money I have to pay, I think the value is good. All the care facilities are expensive, but I thought this was kind of middle. It wasn't very high. It wasn't very low. I highly recommend it.
