My mother-in-law moved into Hillcrest of Loveland. She liked it because it had a full kitchen and washer and dryer facilities in her own apartment. She didn't have to go down the hall to do laundry. They periodically have card games and movies. Once in a while they will do an outing where they will take the seniors out to watch the leaves change color or out to dinner, but I feel like they don't do enough for people to do things like craft projects or do things to get people more involved than just the card game or bingo. They provide two meals a day as part of the rent, but my mother-in-law is not happy with the quality of the food, so it's been kind of hit and miss. Sometimes they serve a meal that she will eat, and other times they serve a meal that she does not want to eat. I think their menu could use a little improvement. The facility is very clean and kept up well. The staff members have been very friendly. Their price is a little high when you look at the quality of the food and the number of activities that they have for the seniors to engage in.

My mother will be moving into Hillcrest of Loveland. We chose it because of the size. It was a little smaller than the others, and the size of the individual units was bigger and finished a little nicer. She had a full kitchen and granite and tops. It's independent with an option to move to assisted and then memory care so that as she needs more services, we don't have to move her completely to a different facility. They spoke to my mom directly instead of to me. They knew all the residents as we ran into them in the facility and different things about what was going on in their lives. We stayed and had a meal and talked to the residents. The meal we had wasn't fantastic, but we saw what everybody else was having and there were good choices and those looked good, so I'm guessing we just chose the wrong one. The transportation was not limited only to medical care and it was for anything within the limits of Loveland, which was a big deal. Then, they had a wellness center that was staffed regularly. They're not physical therapists, but they have some kind of certification to help the seniors stay active.

I had an in-person tour of Hillcrest of Loveland. The staff knew everybody by name. Everybody seemed comfortable with her. They were just caring for the residents. The residents were treated as human beings, so they were treated well. The dining area was appropriate. It was not too large or too small.

I toured Hillcrest of Loveland. The apartments were very nice. They're probably one of the best as far as size and comfort. The place was clean. The interaction between the staff and the residents seemed nice. There was a nice courtyard. I only met the salesperson who gave me the tour, and she was fine.

I toured Hillcrest of Loveland. The staff member that gave us our tour was very, very nice. All the staff members were very nice. It was a very nice facility. They have great-sized rooms. Good views. Comfortable and homey. We ate there and the food was amazing. They got choices and a la carte. There are a lot of choices. We got to see all the movie rooms and the activity rooms, and they all looked nice and prepared for fun.

We were impressed with Hillcrest of Loveland. We liked it. We liked the staff and the location. It was closer to our daughter, so that made it a little nicer than the other facility. The staff would talk to the patients. As we were touring, they would look in your eyes. Sometimes when you go into nursing homes, the staff look away or they look down. They were very presentable, very present, and very happy with their jobs. The rooms were a little bit bigger than the other place, so they were nice. They probably would have been a better fit for both my parents. The dining area was very nice because it was small and intimate. It was just a few people. I think they sat 20, so it was very informal. They were having an exercise program, and most of the people that were participating seemed to be enjoying it. There was a couple that were in there sleeping, but they were just kind of dozing off. The atmosphere was very relaxed and very friendly, and the patients and the staff interacted. I like the fact that everybody seemed to get along.

We went to Hillcrest of Loveland. The place was incredibly beautiful. It's high-end living. It was amazing. They offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care. It was stunning. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, like granite countertops, full-size kitchens with upgraded cabinetry, and nice flooring. You can transition to assisted, and then you can also transition to memory care if needed, so you never have to move your loved one. You have like an incredible view of the mountains when you look out your window. You look out over a field instead of houses, so you're just looking out over beautiful-ness. No industrial sites or anything like that, it's just an open field, and that was when you're looking from the back. Probably a negative is there's nothing around; there's no shopping centers, there's no grocery stores, nothing like that. You'd have to be taken there in order to get to it.

We did assisted living at Hillcrest of Loveland with the option to go on to memory care. It was great. This was my favorite place because it was big enough, but it wasn't too big. It had more of a cozy home feel to it. We were there during a Halloween party, so the staff members were all preoccupied, but everybody we talked to was great. The staff showed us a one-bedroom and a studio. The one-bedroom would be too big for my mother, but the studio was the largest one we saw, had a lot of light, and would be excellent for her. This building that they're in is a renovated hospital, and that's where I gave birth to my children. I never saw any outside part to it; I don't know if they didn't show me. It's kind of at the top of a hill. I know they go for walks and maybe just around the neighborhood, but I never saw any outside area. It would probably be Hillcrest of Loveland if we decide.

Hillcrest of Loveland was a fabulous facility, and it was super expensive. It just wasn't in my price range, and it was not what I was looking for for my mother, but I'm sure it was fantastic. It was very elegant. The setting was a five for that clientele, but that's not my mom. They were high end. I give their atmosphere a five. The staff that I met was fine. The facility was just pristine. I didn't see anything pretty there outdoors.

My father-in-law is in Hillcrest of Loveland. He has gone from independent to the assisted living. He needs full-time care now. It is very clean and very organized. It has a lot of windows, so it just feels very open and inviting. The staff members were prepared and up to date on my father's needs. They knew him well. They're very personable and friendly. He is a picky eater, but the cook would come out and talk to him about how he liked the meal, so I felt it was very personal that they could say, "I didn't like this, but I like this," and they get choices. When my father-in-law was in the independent living, there were lots of activities. They usually had a list in the elevator and different places like bulletin boards with lots of different activities that you could participate in. Because of COVID, though, activities have been greatly changed. I worried about how to help him still get social interaction, but I think they've done a good job being extra safe with the residents. They have a salon, and they have really nice grounds that people can walk around with a nice view of the valley. They have a movie-theater kind of thing where they all watch movies. They have a pool table and video games like an arcade room. Also, they put a lot of effort into the food and giving him multiple choices of what to eat.

We toured Hillcrest of Loveland. They have a porch you can eat out on. It was a very nice and well-taken care of facility. They also have a very pleasant staff. This place is our second choice for our mom.

I liked Hillcrest of Loveland. I have friends there. I liked their apartments because they have their own washer and dryer, and they seemed to be a little more spacious than other places. The person who gave the tour was very helpful, very nice, and gave me the information I needed. I don't know about the food; I think you get two meals a day, and you have one meal where you do your own, but most of the apartments have kitchens. I didn't see any activities when I went there. I think they are friendly, it's very homey, it's clean, everybody greets you in the hallway, even if you don't know them, and they always say hello to you. They have exercise rooms.

The tour of Hillcrest of Loveland was great, and the people were very nice. The two-story facility was very confusing to my mom, however, and they were more expensive.

After losing a husband and moving 1000 miles from where she had been for the last 60 something years, this new home has been perfect for my mom. She is very happy with her living accommodations, new friends, new purpose, new routines . . . She has a beautiful apartment in a beautiful setting with a full kitchen, private laundry, onsite exercise classes, and loads of other activities and opportunities.

This community has the warmest welcoming entrance that I have ever seen. The front desk clerk greeted me with a genuine smile and was very friendly. SPECTACULAR views of the Rockies. The apartments are large with upgraded kitchens, large windows and sliding glass doors that lead out on to a balcony. Staff is friendly and community was spotless. I would rate this community a strong 5 stars.

Hillcrest was a very nice place, but the room they have ope was too big for my mother. It was clean and good. They had a dining room and theater. They could work out, watch movies, and do crafts.

Upon entering The Hillcrest I could tell it was a place I would want my grandma to live. Staff was extra friendly. The building smelled wonderful and looked immaculate. The menu looked appealing as well as the event calendar. I was impressed with the independent apartments because they felt like actual homes instead of being facility like.

Hillcrest of Loveland was OK, but it wasn’t very homey or welcoming. It was very stark. It kind of looked like a hospital ward more than an assisted living home. They offered a bunch of activities.

We are moving into Hillcrest of Loveland. It just seemed like a very comfortable atmosphere, and the rooms are more to our liking. We also have some positive feedback from a dear friend of ours who had stayed there. They have a nice dining hall, it seemed like a good staff, and there is an exercise room that I will probably make use of. It just seemed to be our place in terms of the people and what we were experiencing. The people are very open and very friendly. For me, the food is good.

Be careful what they tell you about room availability and the options to move from one care level to another. In November they told my Mom they had a room for her and a few days before the move they called and said the room would not be available for a few more weeks. A day later they called and told her it was available again. We moved her to independent plus and they indicated that if we decided she needed assisted living it would be no problem to move her to that level and that she was first on the list. In January she was hospitalized and we called to ask if we could move her to assisted living when she was released. They told us sorry she is 3rd on the list but could accommodate her in an assisted living space that shares a bathroom and bedroom with another resident. Needless to say we are not taking this option and are moving her to a different facility. We were also told that because we didn't give 30 days notice we would be required to pay for 30 days of rent. All along they have been sketchy about room availability and they way they communicate has not been honest. Unless you know specifically the care you need and move directly to that level, I would not recommend this facility. This entire process cost us an extra $5,000 considering the $2,000 deposit we had to pay along with the extra month of rent.

My mother lived in an independent living apartment at Hillcrest for several years. She enjoyed her privacy but also the ability to eat meals in a lovely diningroom setting with excellent food and participate in activities as she wanted. Always in a safe and caring environment. I am so appreciative of the Hillcrest facility and staff who were always so caring and were excellent in the way they interacted with my mom, who is not a very social outgoing person. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and would recommend it 100%.

Hillcrest of Loveland's dining area was very nice, and it was nice that they had hours from 11:00 to 1:00 so you got to choose when you wanted to go eat. It was very open, and they're close to the mountains so it's really pretty. The staff was wonderful, caring, and nice. They said they don't hire people with experience, but they hire them according to how close they were to their grandparents and older people and how they are one on one with them. They were wonderful. They have activities that my mother's really interested in. The older people were very nice, and it seemed like a good place to meet someone. It's not too big and not too small. We're very happy. They just can't wait to meet my mom, and they were really sweet to me. There's a caregiver lady who takes care of medications for independent people who can go to assisted living. She's really nice.

Hillcrest of Loveland is excellent. We moved my mother there. We like everything about it, and it's very nice. The ambiance is great. The rooms are excellent; they're just the right size. The meals are excellent and very good. The security is very good as well. The activities are very good. It is a very good value and is just right for our budget at about $2,700 per month.

Hillcrest is an exceptional facility. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is just delightful! We have worked with Jean, the director, and she is very caring and concerned. The residents have activities to choose from daily. Meals are varied and well-prepared. I would highly recommend this facility to any family searching for quality care for their loved ones.

I visited Hillcrest of Loveland for my parents. It was a nice facility that offered comparable services. It wasn’t as new as the other facility I saw, but it would have been very adequate. The rooms were smaller and not as new as what my parents have now.

I thought Hillcrest of Loveland was a nice facility. It is more of like an apartment complex. It looked pretty clean. The staff was really friendly. The rooms were nice and appropriately sized. Their dining room looked pretty nice. I thought it was a restaurant style. I would recommend it.

The Hillcrest seems very nice. I looked at an independent living room that was vacant. We peeked into an assisted living, and then we also walked over to the memory care unit. The room that I saw seemed very clean. There were none of the weird smells which you sometimes can get. It was well-lit. There was a calendar on the wall that had a ton of activities, more stuff than you could even keep up with. The person I met with to help us tour the area was very pleasant. The residents were very nice and were all very friendly to us. They do a good job of keeping the residents active and involved. We would have been satisfied with Hillcrest.
