We chose MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care of Littleton for my mom because its close to me. They've renovated all the apartments inside, so its basically brand new. They have a fitness room, and there's a nice garden area. They have bingo, they have small trips to places, and they have a theater room.

My mom is currently a resident at MorningStar in their assisted living facility. This is a small facility with a terrific staff. I love that I recognize most of the staff when I visit and that they recognize me! This is exactly the "home" that my sister and I envisioned for my mom when we knew that an assisted living facility was in her future. The staff is very knowledgeable in senior issues, which was very important to our family, but they are also so very caring and compassionate--my guess is that having both an empathy for the residents and a thorough knowledge of senior issues may be somewhat of an anomaly. My mom entered Morningstar during the Covid 19 crisis. Although visitation is limited, certainly not Morningstar's fault, the staff has accommodated our many requests to the best of their ability. With regard to the facility itself, it is very well kept and doesn't look like an assisted living facility, something that appealed to our family. My mom's "apartment" is quite nice, with high ceilings and a large, bright bay window. There are many activities available to the residents and too many amenities to name here--see their website! Thanks Morningstar and staff for a great home for my mom!

We have been fortunate to have Mom at MorningStar at Littleton since November of 2018. For the first 18 months she lived on the Assisted Living side and most recently has transitioned to the Memory Care Unit. This place is great for so many reasons! Let’s start with the layout. The place feels like a home, not a dorm or your standard senior living facility. The facility is set up so that there are numerous places to sit and visit, both inside and outside. There a numerous activities and outings for residents to involve themselves as well. But by far, the most important component is the people. The staff are caring, compassionate and committed. There is overlap between the AL and Memory Care side so that residents maintain relationships. Although my preference would be for Mom to be able to live independently this is just not in the cards as they say. MorningStar at Littleton is as good an option as there could be in our opinion. Thank you!

Morningstar of Littleton cared for my parents, with my dad being a resident for six plus years. My parents loved the staff and you could feel the love the staff shared for them. As a family member, I too felt part of the community with Morningstar staff treating me as a friend and a partner in my parents care.

We moved my grandfather in during the quarantine which was an unbelievably stressful time. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the entire move in process was as painless and possible and ensure that my grandfather was comfortable through everything. Because of visitation restrictions the staff has been beyond helpful in doing everything from providing companionship to assisting with phone calls and any other challenges that have come up. I think I might be one of the most difficult and needy people that they deal with because of my worrying about my grandfather. They have NEVER made me feel like I am needy but the opposite with ensuring me that they APPRECIATE that I am involved with being there for him. The facility is beautiful and the staff are too inside and out! Grateful to have such a wonderful team supporting my family through this! My grandfather never wanted to leave his house, but has found his care team to make this difficult period truly enjoyable!

My mother is in the memory care of MorningStar of Littleton. We chose this place because they were very responsive to us, and they're willing to show us around without any hesitation. So far it's been very good. The rooms were very nice, looked very clean, and everything seemed in order when I visited. They've been very good to us, they really have, and we are very satisfied.

We felt that MorningStar of Littleton was a family oriented place, and it was actually our final selection place. We even had gone to the point of putting down a deposit before my wife’s mother got sick, and that was where we were actually going to move her. It was the closest and easiest for us to get to. They had a house dog that was very cute and lovable. During the summertime, they had an outside griller that they use for activities at night, and they had all sorts of games, movies, and entertainment set up. When we were visiting there, they had somebody coming in and playing the piano, and people were singing along during that activity.

My mother spent the last three years of her life at the Morning Star, at the Littleton, CO location. I visited often and had peace of mind my mother was well taken care of. The staff is friendly, professional and caring. The facility is cheerful, clean and decorated in a tasteful traditional style. My mother had her own apartment within the facility. This allowed her privacy, but she also received the support she needed. The food is well prepared and the menu selections are varied enough to be interesting. They have special events family and friends can attend several times a year. The staff does a great job and my family attended often. My mom made many new friends living here. She enjoyed several of activities offered including lunch outings, Bingo, Flower Friday and Bible Study. She especially loved the activity director who does a great job maintaining a fun atmosphere and keeping the residents involved. If you are reading this you are looking for a nice place, which is why I am taking the time to write about my mom's experience. As my mom's health deteriorated Morning Star was able to accommodate her. She was as independent as possible, but had helping hands when needed. I highly recommend this facility.

MorningStar at Littleton was great. It was wonderful. However, it would have been really far for my dad to drive to visit my mother there. It had everything, but the location was not going to work. Nevertheless, MorningStar Littleton was awesome. I do think it’s a little dated -- i.e., the border wallpaper at the top is a bit dated; however, the people that they’re servicing don’t know that at all, and it’s probably their taste. But it was not to my taste. They did a great job though. The facility and pricing was right. MorningStar at Littleton was a great facility, and I know several people that have gone there. I talked to several caregivers. It’s a great facility. It does need some updating. Eventually for my generation, they are definitely going to need to upgrade it to meet the needs of more of a modern community, but right now, it’s perfect. It’s absolutely perfect.

I have a dear friend that I visit weekly at Morning Star and she’s quite happy there. The facility is beautiful and the activities are fantastic. She’s never in her room but around people who care for her. All the staff members I’ve encountered have been nice, helpful and friendly. The rooms are top notch. I am very happy with the facility.

As I visited my grandma roughly 4 times a week for the last 2 years of her life, I was able to notice the facility. The staff was very nice and kind. They did a great job dealing with people who are in the "I'm stuck in this jail for the rest of my life" mindset. They are kind and caring. I ate in their restaurant once. The meal sizes were senior-sized and the food was high quality. The types of activities they had seemed to be suited for most elderly people. The best part was that in the hallways, they'd occasionally have a little reading nook with some books and a bookcase. Overall it was a great place.

A few years ago I was looking for a place for my father. MorningStar Senior Living seems to be very clean and the residents are very nice. The staff really seems to care about each of the residents. I have passed by there many times and everyone seems to very happy. They are outside enjoying the sunshine, laughing and having a good time. If you didin't know you would not realize it was a Senior Living facility.
