My mother was at Brookdale Littleton for respite care. It went well. The staff were very helpful. They went above and beyond to try and make her happy. They gave her every opportunity to participate in all of their activities. She chose not to, but they tried. I didn't have the opportunity to try their food. Unfortunately, because she chose not to go down to the dining hall for food, they brought it to her, so oftentimes it was cold when she got it. They had activities planned weekly and outside of the facility excursions. They had in-house things. My mother used the salon to get a haircut, which she enjoyed. The facility was very clean and always fresh-smelling. The staff were always in there working hard cleaning and organizing and keeping the facility nice.

Brookdale Littleton seemed like a real small community, so it was more intimate. They had an enclosed park-like setting in the center of all the rooms. It was kind of like a big square, and in the center was like a giant park type thing. They had a gazebo out there, and they had trees and flowers and paths so everybody could get outside and really enjoy the nature, but still be kind of enclosed for security. That's what I liked the most about it. What I didn't like as much was the size of the rooms. Compared to where my father is at now, I felt they were considerably smaller, and it's considerably more expensive over here. That I didn't care for and he did not care for it either. He was a big no-no on that. The staff during the tour was fantastic, very informative, and very well-liked by residents there as well as other staff. You could just see the rapport among people, very low key casual yet professional. She was a sweetie pie. Everybody there was extremely nice. It seemed to be very well kept. It was definitely an older facility, but it seemed to be in quite good repair. The grounds were well kept. We went through two or three rooms, and they seemed to be in good working order. They were just very small.

Brookdale Littleton was very nice. It was clean and well-maintained. It just appeared that the woman who toured me double-booked herself. Other than that, they covered everything that you would normally need for assisted living. They had an exercise area, a place where people could go and congregate if they wanted, and a library. The standard stuff.

Brookdale Littleton doesn't feel so big. It's a smaller community, but it's very clean and very nice. The staff is very good with their people. They offer everything that the big communities have. They fit the activities to their people. They have movie nights, crafts, and things that their people are requesting.

Mom stayed in Brookdale Littleton. She passed away ten days after she was there. For the most part, the staff was great. Some nurses are always better than others, but overall, it was great. It was maintained fairly well. It was recently redone at that time. I did not try the food, but my mom said it was good. It was during COVID, but they did have exercise activities inside. They had activities where they could distance themselves, like chair yoga and stuff. They just kept them apart. The floor plan was great, and it had been newly done. It was a good size. Perfect, so that she could have a bed, a little table, and some furniture. She has a sitting room, a kitchen-ish, and a bedroom. It's just that some of the staff could be a little more attentive. I also understand, we're faced with shortages all the time, and that could simply have been it.

At Brookdale Littleton, each person has their own room. When I visited this woman and went on the tour, her oxygen level was at a two or one, and the daughter came in and said, "Why is my mom's oxygen so low?" The lady said, "Well, did you turn her concentrator up?" And she says, "No, that's what I'm paying you to do." So, I didn't like Brookdale at all. The upkeep and layout were fine, but nobody was out, and everybody was stuck in their rooms. Plus, there was no camaraderie there. It's like a prison. They had a crafts room and a garden and a patio that was fenced in and it looked very nice.

We visited Brookdale Littleton. We couldn't see much because of COVID, but it looked fairly good. The facilities are a little dated, but they're OK. The staff was very nice. We saw a couple of their sample rooms and eating facilities. I looked at a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom.

Brookdale Littleton smelled like urine, so that turned me off right there. The staff member that showed me around was very nice. The place was so big, so it didn't seem like they would give them personal care. My mom's room would have been way in the back. She had a little bit of dementia, so I don't know if she would be able to find her room. It looked clean, but it smelled bad. I didn't like that. I saw the dining room. It was in the very front, but it was a very long walk from where her room would have been. That was one thing I did not like.

Brookdale Littleton is very nice. It's a beautiful place with a beautiful view. The grounds and the building are clean. The staff members are extremely kind, very patient, and very informative. It seems like it is running very well. They have an exercise class and a beauty shop.

The rooms at Brookdale Littleton were nice, but there was an odor in the hallway that I couldn’t get over. The dining hall was OK, but there was also a lingering odor there as well so a little more cleanliness might help. I didn’t meet too many of the staff, but they seemed very nice. I went on a weekday, and I was very concerned that there weren’t a whole lot of people around that day.

I can honestly say that I am highly disappointed by the treatment and care provided by the staff at Brookdale. My grandmother is staying at this facility and has a hard time getting help from the staff when she needs it. They administer her medication latr and when they bring it at night they administer it at 10:30pm at night. Her room is very dirty and they have not cleaned it in weeks due to lack of staff. I over heard the employee's talking in the therapy room one day about how they do not want to train new employees and don't care to hire new people to help. It is very hard for her to get help when she needs it. I would not recommend for anyone to go to Brookdale that I know because our experience there has been horrible.

Brookdale Littleton (formerly Sterling House of Littleton) was very nice, but it was too far away from me. It was very welcoming, and it had beautiful scenery. It's right on the Front Range. Everybody was very accommodating, very friendly, and very helpful. I liked that it was small.

Brookdale Littleton was a smaller facility. The rooms were more laid out. They looked like traditional apartments where they had separate areas for a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen.

The staff was friendly but not as numerous. The facility was clean but dated, and the apartments were small. The dining room was nice, but it was also small, dated, and not nearly as well decorated as the others. They've got a beauty salon, a reading room, and a TV room. I did not see as many activities at Brookdale Littleton (Formerly Sterling House of Littleton), so they could probably use more activities.

I visited Brookdale, and I liked the people there. It was very clean and very nice. They had a nice dining area. Everything looked really good. The rooms were as much as you would want, but they had only the larger rooms available at the time I visited. All the people seemed professional. They had like a full-time nurse there that I met. The staff was excellent. When I visited, they were on a big bingo game there. They had a guy dressed like a cowboy holding a bingo game.

We choose Brookdale Littleton for my mother because of the convenience and location. The staff is wonderful. We are very impressed with the grounds, and the rooms are brand new.

Sterling House is open, airy, and has a nice setting. Everybody there seemed to be pretty happy. The apartments were pretty typical of the other assisted living, one big room, a bedroom, and a kitchenette and so average size rooms. I talked to somebody in kitchen staff and somebody that does activities. The kitchen staff strives to have more of a restaurant type than a cafeteria type setup. The activities people are always looking for something new to try or go to, and they seem pretty positive.

Sterling House was available when we looked for a facility, and the staff is wonderful. The rooms are spacious with big closets and well-maintained. The dining room is good and I really like the food. I think some of the older people don’t appreciate the food that much because it’s more new food -- a lot of them would be happy with hamburgers and meatloaf -- but the food is really quite good. I like that it’s a small and pretty active community. They have bingo, poker, puzzles, Trivial Pursuit, and shopping trips. I like the environment, as it is nice, clean, and friendly. We haven’t had any problems with anything being taken, and my mother states she really has no complaints. I would definitely recommend this facility.

My cousin is a resident of Sterling House of Littleton. We've been really impressed with both the staff and the facilities that's why we chose this. The facility is really clean inside and out. The grounds are really nice and well kept. Regarding staff, everybody seems to be caring and on top of things. They have lots of activities for their residents. I know my cousin participates in bingo, trivia games, ice cream socials, and holiday parties. They keep the people involved in everything. We're even invited to their afternoon tea next Saturday.

Sterling House looked like a very nice facility. It had huge halls which would be nice for people in wheelchairs. They had a nice patio area where people were sitting and enjoying the pretty weather. The rooms are beautiful and very nice. The menu looked nice also and the staff was very friendly. The residents looked content.

My visit at Sterling House of Littleton was very nice. From what I saw, it got very nice landscaping. We walked around the lobby and the office and it had a nice environment. They were very welcoming, friendly, extremely helpful and informative. They were just awesome and really nice. I spoke with the manager and he did talk about their activities. It seemed like a very active community, which I like.

I visited Sterling House for my sister-in-law and I was quite happy with what I saw. Their rooms were on the small side but very clean. We als had dinner there and it was quite satisfactory. However, my sister-in-law was a pending Medicaid and unfortunately they would not accept Medicaid. Also they have changed their managers probably three times in the six months that we looked at it, which I wasn't too happy about, but I guess things happened.

We took my husband;s mother to see the facility hoping that she would move from Iowa to Colorado. The visit was excellent but she hass decided to sstay in Iowa. Were she to change her mind, Sterling House would be our choice.
