This place has the worst leadership ever. The Director is way out of her league. Calls are never returned. The food is terrible. Most of it is prepackaged and not made fresh. The menu is very limited and the food is usually cold. The chef is rarely there. Caregivers sleep, eat and watch TV throughput the night shift. There are so short-staffed they have bosses making big bucks sitting at the front desk twirling their thumbs. There are very little activities. The bus has been broken down for over a year. Where is the money going? My relative has been there 3 years and there has never been a fire drill. Good luck if your considering moving in. Remember the people talking to you about moving in will say anything to just get you to put your money down. Do not be fooled by the nice apartments. RUN!

Balfour at Littleton had extremely poor management, very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. I would not recommend it because the head administrator was not gracious and not efficient. I had a lovely room. It was a corner unit, but if you don't have a staff that cared about the residents, it didn't matter how lovely the room was. I stayed in the assisted living, but the activities were geared more towards the residents with dementia. The facility was OK and the food was decent, though.

Balfour Littleton was very nice, it's very clean, and the people were very personable. The biggest drawback of that place was that they have a limited menu. They have specials everyday, but the standard menu was pretty limited; there are not a lot of choices. We had a meal, and it was nice. The rooms, compared to what my mother got out of in Florida, were much smaller with furniture. They are a very new place; they were only a year old when I saw them. They told me the history of the place, that it was set up by a Jewish doctor who set it up for his mother, and it was very nice and considerate of them. If they live up to everything they are saying, it probably is a decent place. They have a little courtyard. It's not huge, and that is one of the drawbacks, since my mother likes to sit outside in the sun, which she does a lot in Florida and couldn't do as much out here. They had a beauty shop and an exercise room, and those were good, too.
