We moved into The Courtyard at Lakewood. I'm quite pleased and happy. I think they're doing a pretty good job. We've just gone through a big painting, and more is coming, so they're keeping it up. They have a good library, movies many times a week, and exercise class 4 or 5 days a week. I wish it was a little bit more. They have three floors, roughly 42 units per floor, and I think they're identical, with the exception of a few of them that have two bedrooms. Ours is one living room and one bedroom. It's quite adequate for two people. They have a driver four days a week.

The gal who took me through the The Courtyard at Lakewood was very helpful. I would give her an A-plus. She was great. It's a lovely facility. If I was making a decision now, it's a facility I would definitely consider. Everything was just really positive. It was a good experience. Everything was stellar. It was clean and beautiful.

The Courtyard At Lakewood was a nice place, but they recently had a flood which was a bit disappointing. The person who gave me the tour was very nice, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The apartments were older. They redid them and they looked nice, but they were small. I looked at a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom apartment, and they had full kitchens. There was a courtyard in the center of the buildings because it was a hotel at one point.

We are hoping to move into The Courtyard At Lakewood this month. It was a 5-star facility, and everything was clean and fresh. The residents were friendly. The apartments were spacious. For the 1-bedroom apartment, we were impressed with how big it was and we liked the private patio. The staff was friendly, patient, and they answered all of our questions. They introduced us to some residents so that we could talk with them about their experiences living there.

I went to The Courtyard At Lakewood. They didn't have anything open at the moment, but they said in a couple of months that they probably would have because they had some people that were going to move out of state. Most of the amenities were nice. They had a good inside recreational area where you can watch movies, play a little pool, and things like that, which I thought was kind of nice to have. They had a good laundry service if you needed it. The outside area was fairly decent. They had some open areas and things set up with picnic tables. I thought it was pretty good the way they had everything set up. It was nice and it was easy to access to everything. They served meals. I would rate them as a really good place. They were very friendly, very pleasant, and very helpful to everybody. If anybody needed any help, they said all you had to do is pick up the phone, push one button on it, and it connected with the front desk, and they would send somebody down to your room to help you get to where you needed to go and all that. And I thought that was fantastic. They were very good at explaining everything and letting you know what their services were and all that.

My brother has moved into The Courtyard at Lakewood. The staff has been very nice. We haven't seen too much of the ground since this winter, but he does have a nice apartment. They're served three meals a day, and my brother goes down for meals. He has a second-floor apartment. They do have a courtyard, but we haven't done anything there. I had a meal there; I find the food very good. My brother likes it, he said it's fine. They do have activities, like bridge and dominoes.

My dad has moved into here. It's wonderful. The staff seem very attentive. The place seems clean. I think my dad's going to really enjoy it and thrive. They seem wonderful and kind. As for activities, it looks like they're having a good time. They have a library, a workout area, a woodworking station, and a little store. They do bingo, and it looks pretty fun. The room is perfect for a single person.

I have toured The Courtyard At Lakewood. They have been great. I was so surprised the day I first came to take a look, Megan (marketing, I guess) had even a sign that says 'Welcome' that was right there inside the front door. Of course, I had my daughter take a picture of that because who knows if I was going to live there or not, but it was just such a nice thing. I met the activity director. The whole overall atmosphere there (like the dining and community center) was appealing to me. I found that there was a west-view apartment toward sunset, so that's the one I'm going to take. It's very hard to leave the kid's home, but I need a social life. I can't be so isolated. Family isn't enough, that's all I can say. When you're older, you need some peers and action and stuff, which I believe The Courtyard At Lakewood will give me. I don't think I saw a chapel, but they have Catholic communion once a week. No Protestant services that I heard of, and I asked because I'm a retired United Methodist pastor. Their library is part of the big community room. It has nice couches, several sofas, and tables sitting around for people. People were working on puzzles and stuff, and they had an activities director. Another selling point for me was that they have a van, and as long as I ask, they'll take me to doctors in the Lakewood area or the grocery store. All I have to do is request a trip to the store, and that's going to be a big plus for me because I don't drive. I did not go down to the activity room, but I understand there's one downstairs. It seems very clean. It's built in a rectangle so that all the buildings have an outside balcony or patio. In the middle, there's a courtyard that opens up. It's pretty nice. In the warm weather, they have tables and umbrellas out there. Four different people are helping me, and they have been very good to work with.

We liked it very much and that's probably where we'll wind up when the time comes. The people were very, very friendly. They were willing to work with you, they have excellent customer service, and they seem to care. We tried the food there and it was excellent. The whole place was very clean, and very nice, and had access to everything. They were wheelchair-accessible and ADA-compliant. Nothing is ever perfect, so we're not giving them the highest rating just yet.

The Courtyard at Lakewood was fine. It seemed basic and no frills, but adequate. They offered plenty of things to do, and the people seemed friendly. They were doing some activities in the community room at that time, but with COVID, it's probably in a socially distant way. It's a fine facility, but it's not quite what we're looking for. We didn't meet too many staff members, but they seemed fine also.

My mother is at The Courtyard at Lakewood, and it's been very good. The staff is very attentive, kind, friendly, and they've gotten for us anything I've asked for. She has a one-bedroom apartment. They have Bingo, a fitness room, a therapist that does exercises with the clients, poker nights, ice cream socials, a big game room, puzzle room, movie room, library, laundry room, and a store. Meals are included in her rent, but she has a full kitchen.

My mom has moved into The Courtyard At Lakewood. It is great. The place is clean. They have lots of services and activities for the residents. They just switched management, but they seemed to be good too. The living quarters are big. They have so many different activities. They have anything from poker to pool to movies to Wii bowling. They have activities throughout the whole day. The staff members have been very good.

The Courtyard At Lakewood was very nice. The staff members were wonderful. I would have gone there if it was closer, but it just wasn't. However, I really liked it. The menu looked good. The apartments were very nice. The only problem with the apartment was the long walk. I'm on a walker so I can't walk for very long.

We visited The Courtyard At Lakewood. It’s a very nice place. It’s very accommodating. The staff was very good. They’re very gracious. Their rooms were adequate. They’re large enough to accommodate most kinds of furniture. They had a circus thing going on. They had entertainment for their guests.

I was pleased with The Courtyard, and I thought that was the solution for my mother. It looked very nice; the people seemed very nice, and everything there was very nice. It really appealed to me; however, the whole decision has kind of been taken out of our hand. She had to go to the emergency room, has been admitted to a nursing home, and will end up in long term care. We discussed the activities -- although I didn’t see a lot on our visit -- but I was impressed with all of it. The dining area looked fine.

We toured The Courtyard at Lakewood for my father. Some of the outdoor facilities, like the courtyard and the garden areas, were nice. It was a bit of an older facility, but it was near the light rail, so that was kind of appealed to us. The room seemed to be nice and clean and would have been adequate for my father. We only met with one staff member, and she was very nice.

We enjoyed our meal at the Courtyard. The residents there were the friendliest of any facility I've visited. The staff was friendly and helpful. The apartments were just what I was looking for. I won't be moving there because it's so far from where my children live. My son works 5+1/2 days a week. He says he doesn't want to spend his day off sitting in traffic. I'll move closer to my children's home.

I thought the Courtyard felt homey, hospitable, and friendly and had lots of activities. The dining room was spacious and cafeteria-style, but comfortable. The living accommodations were really nice. The rooms had nice hardwood floors, weere spacious, and even included balconies. I felt my father-in-law would be comfortable there.

I visited The Courtyard At Lakewood for my father. It was a nice facility. The people were kind; it just wasn't the right fit for my family. On the whole, it was a nice facility. When I was there, they were very nice and very courteous. It seemed like a very nice place. They had a few activities there, but I can't remember what they were. I'm giving it a 3, and that's based on my father's needs.

Everybody is friendly at the Courtyard, it’s a nice place, and they’re fixing it up. The apartments are nice and adequate. It’s very close to the light rail, and they have a bus that takes you if you want to go. I was very impressed with the staff. I’ve eaten there twice, and the food is fine. I went to the pottery class, and it was fine.

The Courtyard at Lakewood is a very nice place. It is older than the other facility, but it has the same kind of amenities. The apartments are very nice. They have a kitchen, refrigerator, and stove, so you can cook if you choose to, though I don't know why you would want to because food is part of the cost. Food is good; they have a good chef. They also have a good marketing staff. There were a lot of activities for the residents, like theme-type parties. They might have people who come in and provide entertainment, like different music groups, jazz, or luau-type things. They did have all kinds of different activities. They have people who come in and do haircutting, and they also have a shuttle, which is part of monthly. Aside from that, they have below-ground parking if you have a car.

I like Courtyard At Lakewood. It was just in the wrong location and town for me. The staff was courteous, but I didn't get a chance to know them very well because I only visited. I saw a one-bedroom there and it had plenty of rooms. Overall, Courtyard at Lakewood was a nice place.
