My parents have moved into The Inn at Greenwood Village. Our experience has been very positive. The staff is excellent. The paperwork and everything was well explained. Their room is small, but it's nice and well maintained. They're enjoying the food, and they like the fact that there are choices. They have regular scheduled activities and they have shopping events. There are all kinds of things typical for an assisted living community. The outdoor spaces are not extensive, but they're also well maintained, pleasant, and easy to access. The dining area is just a typical community dining area.

Although we have only been at The Inn at Greenwood Village for four short months, we feel this is home to us. The staff has been so accommodating and the workers are very caring. We truly feel well cared for, and there is friendliness abound. The food is very good in our newly renovated dinging room. We would highly recommend The Inn at Greenwood Village to anyone who is looking for a place such as this.

After movimg my mother from another assisted living to The Inn at Greenwood Village, I can definitely say that the biggest difference here is that the staff truly cares about the residents. Not only do they all know the resdients by name, they stop to chat with them whenever they see someone. The staff even knows me by name. The activities are good, and there seems to always be something going on. All in all, a great experience.

I have lived here for 8 1/2 years. I stay busy with my friends, and I like the food. It is nice to not have to grocery shop, prepare the meal and clean up after. I love my room because it is very large and it has a nice view with a balcony. The staff are all very nice, and I know that I am supported here.

I have lived here for 7 years, and I love it! It is all about the wonderful people. I am so happy that I am able to eat in the dining room again. I enjoy our balance class and I go everyday.

I have been in the community for five years. We have gone through many changes in that time. I like what I see, and like it here. I have to commend the whole kitchen staff on how they have handled things during the pandemic. I feel that they have the hardest job in the building with adjusting how they interact with residents and deliver the food. Our care givers display of a lot of care and professionalism. I always see a lot of good things happening here.

First, the good. The Inn had a few excellent caregivers who made a huge effort with my Dad. We appreciate their efforts. Additionally, the activities coordinators planned many activities and made genuine attempts to engage the residents. The staff generally knew who my Dad was and could respond to in person questions about him. The bad - so many medication mistakes were made. We had to be constantly on the caregivers to ensure they were giving the rights meds at the right times of day (they were giving my Dad a very sedating medication at 8 am despite doctor's orders). In addition, part of the care plan included making sure my Dad used a sleep apnea machine at night. Caregivers often misled us about whether they were in fact helping with the machine. We knew this because the use of the machine was recorded at his doctor's office. We finally had to resort to a nanny cam which showed us that the night caregivers were often lying to us. This was extremely disappointing and led to great conflict with the facility, its managers and caregivers.

My mother is at The Inn at Greenwood Village. She is very happy there. We chose it primarily because they have a smoking area, and my mother is an avid smoker. The staff members are very understanding and very patient with her. Their PT and OT staff members have worked wonders to her. My mother has a full studio, which is very spacious compared to most of them. They have an assortment of activities. They have lots of arts and crafts, bingo, and social hour; however, my mother participates in practically nothing.

Greenwood Village was our second choice. We liked the location and we liked the place. We liked everything about it. The day we walked in there, they were cooking, and I was like, "I want to sit down and have a meal here." It smelled so good. They have a rehab area for people and a common area. They showed us some of the rooms; they all looked very nice.

I felt that The Inn was physically a little dated and older. I only saw the common areas, which were nice but not incredible.

The Inn is very nice. The rooms are excellent and bigger than in the other places we looked at, and even include an extra room, like an office. The food is not what we have hoped for, and in fact, the person we have there rarely eats there. The recreation is very nice, although he doesn’t use it very much.

I have moved my mom into The Inn at Greenwood Village. It is very good. The size is not too big, and my mother was able to get a room only two rooms down from the dining room, so she doen’t have to walk far. They have a very nice dining area, but the food is OK.

We moved our Mom here in December and it is unbelievable how nice and caring all the staff are to my Mom. Tara is the most caring executive director, always talking and laughing with the residents, Tracy, talks with all the residents and families and "lends an extra hand" with any activity, Jennifer is the best activities coordinator, and Benina who greets you at the front desk, is a real "hands on" caring person who always asks me how I am doing and tells me a positive comment about what my Mom has been doing that day. The staff really puts the "caring" in caregivers! I highly recommend Inn at Greenwood Village, where you will feel your loved one is safe and you can trust they are in "good hands"!

We visited The Inn at Greenwood Village was very nice. They really did a good job. We liked the facility itself, and the apartment was nice. It had one bedroom. If she could afford it, she would have moved there. However, we had to look at something less expensive.

My mom was able to get into The Inn. I got a call from a wonderful woman who alerted me to the community and told me it was intimate, like going to your cousin's house, and I drove over to the property. I loved the location. It's in a beautiful, beautiful area of Metro Denver, and the property faces open space and a horse stable. One of the girls in marketing actually brought my mother a signed Bronco photograph, and she came over in the snow. They've been nothing short of wonderful in terms of how they treat us and our moving process. I find them very, very caring and very warm, and for somebody who was resistant, she seems to be settling in quite well. The room is a large 1-bedroom with a very small den. She has a balcony looking out over the pastures. I actually saw deer grazing one day. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. They're there on a regular basis. She has a nice-sized kitchen. She has a lovely bedroom. I think it's even larger than the one she had at her home. Very, very clean, neutral carpeting, neutral walls, very easy to decorate to, huge bathroom, full-sized fridge. It's like a nice apartment in an apartment complex. People are all picky about food, but they have a new chef, and the quality of the food has really improved in the last month. I've had very good meals there when I've gone to join my mom. I think one of their chefs is a pastry chef, so everybody looks forward to dessert. They have a tremendous amount of activities. They have everything: bingo, movie nights. They're having a Mother's Day brunch this Saturday. They had a Kentucky Derby celebration. They have outings to restaurants. They keep very active. I asked about bridge, and they said they might start a bridge club just as we requested. My mom has always wanted to learn to play bridge. I feel very, very happy with my placement. There are other homes that just feel like old folks' homes, but this one was very welcoming, and I feel very comfortable when I'm greeted at the door by their resident doggie. There's a flower garden that's been put in by one of the residents, and he's going to have a butterfly garden as soon as it's really warm enough to do that. I just feel very happy there. It was a great move. It's a small place, so I don't want to recommend it too much.

I am staying at Cranbrook and it has always been a clean place. The staff here is self-motivated and does an excellent job. The people who are managing Cranbrook are going through the transition. The company who bought it put in a manager that lasted about six or seven weeks. Then we go about two and a half or three months with no active management on the facility. Then they bought in a new manager who is in here about six weeks now. This lady has significant experience and quite honestly, she fits in like she's been here for thirty years. She steps in and takes care of a half-a-dozen minor things really quickly. This place has turned around a lot in the couple of weeks that she's been here.Quite honestly, the food service is which everybody thinks is adequate, has changed significantly. They got rid of the chef and the quality of the food has improved slightly. There is a turn-around in the quality of the cooking and the service.

We looked at a lot of facilities. When it comes to your parents, you want to be picky and not just stick them somewhere. Cranbrook had a nice little apartment area for my mom, where she could feel like it was her own. The food and meals seemed decent, they're not always wonderful, kind of like cafeteria food. We like that they actually check on her, knock on her door, make sure she's up and about and goes down for each meal, but it costs about $900 a month on top of rent. They do have a medical staff right there which some of the other facilities didn't. They make sure she takes her medicine, otherwise I don't think she'd remember to take it. We do like that, but again that's a $350 a month charge, just to remind her to take her medication. It's clean and she seems to like it. She is able to have her kitty cats, which is a plus. They are the loves of her life at the moment because she doesn't have anything else to love and hang on to. They have afternoon snacks down in the bistro area. You can actually smell the cookies and popcorn right when you walk in. They have Bronco parties where they wear sweatshirts and everything. Overall, other than the additional charges they seem to take care of her. Since day one she's been making new friends and that's been good for her. She's more positive about everything.
