My husband gets good care at Fairacres Manor. They have wonderful physical therapists in the rehab, and the nurses too are wonderful. They have some movies and bingo going on, but it's just the rooms are so small, that you can't have many visitors. It is in a residential area, and so their parking is very limited. as well So, that's really a problem. Their food is insititutional-like.

I went to Fairacres Manor because it was skilled nursing. I have to say everyone there was very kind. The facility is very large because they have memory care, too. It was very large, but it was very dark. It's an older brick building that didn't have very large windows. The room my mother would have been in, would have to do a shared room and she did not have a window there, and I worried about depression for her. It's just dark. But everyone was very kind, and it seemed well kept. There were activities. They gave me a list of all the activities that they had, and it was very, very much like the other ones. There's a lot of bingo, crafts, coloring, gardening, and things like that. It seemed very clean. And even though it was very old, it was very updated.

Mother is here for care after a fall at home. She is still upset about not being home. The staff in the back seem great and are so patient wit her. On the other hand it seems like half the aides are either on drugs or a work release program, or both. A lot of girls don't speak much English so I can't ask how mom's been doing. It can feel trashy. I'm glad mom has been lucky so far though.

Having worked in a Nursing facility many years ago I was worried that my dad's new home would be staffed with an overworked group of people who would not have time for him. I know my dad can be vary frustrating and hard to work with, but I have never gotten that impression from the staff. They are all very friendly and genuinely warm with him. I would rather have my dad at home, but I am more than happy with the care he is receiving.

We chose Fairacres Manor because it seemed to have the most things that my mother liked. So far, we are very happy with them, and it's been working out very well. It is very homey, comfortable, and relaxed. The staff is caring and wants to make the patients comfortable. My mother says the food is very good and is very pleased with it. For activities, they bring in musicians, but my mother is very limited in what she can do and does not have a lot of mobility, so she is pretty confined to a wheelchair. I know they do have church services.

I have a relative that is challenging to work with. The staff are very compassionate and loving to her. There is a good variety of food that is very good. Outings are frequent and varied. Entertainment is brought in also. The courtyard is secure and beautiful. Next best place to home.

I liked Fairacres. She was there for a while, and I thought they were OK. Mom was there for rehab. She loved the food.

Fairacres Manor is absolutely amazing. It's a very clean and very well staffed facility. The place felt like home rather than an institution. The staff had been very attentive to my dad. I just can't say enough about it. The food is wonderful. I have gone in there to eat with my dad and they have a good variety of food with good-sized portions. His room is immaculate. They are sending people to clean all the time. They have a lot more staff than any of the nursing homes we went to tour. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anybody. It is just amazing. They really are taking good care of my dad.
