I toured The Lodge at Grand Junction. It's got activities for my mother-in-law to do during the day. She gets three meals plus a snack. She's got her own room with a suite. The staff was informative. The structure of the building was good. The room, is big enough for a bed, a couple of cabinets, and a TV. The bathroom is really large.

We toured The Lodge at Grand Junction. We like the cleanliness. We like the room layout. We liked that there was a TV in the room for short-term respite care. We saw a menu for the meals, and the meals looked very nice. The staff seemed nice. We talked to a couple of people who were residents, and they seemed very friendly and nice. It was a very pleasant tour. The staff was very friendly. The cleanliness was fine. It's a pretty new building. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The size of the rooms was fine. It was laid out very conveniently for somebody who's going to have a wheelchair to be able to get around in the room. We went to three different facilities, and this one was the most expensive.

I went to The Lodge at Grand Junction. It's a very nice place and I enjoyed our tour there. We may go this week for lunch there with my parents. The person who gave the tour just started. It was her first time. She was nice. She came from somewhere else. When we got there, they were just finishing lunch and some other folks were getting ready to play cards. It's a very nice facility, but it's also very expensive.

At The Lodge at Grand Junction, it felt as though there had been a lot of staff turnover. The lady that was in charge and gave us the tour was very informative, but she had only been there a month, and then we met another lady that had just started that day. We did not like the lady there. That was a complete turnoff. I just didn't feel comfortable because they've had so much staff turnover, which is terrible. Something is going on if there's such a high staff turnover, which is sad because the building is beautiful. That building was probably my favorite building overall. It's beautifully organized. It's got all the amenities. But the lady showing us around did not give us a good feeling. She wasn't friendly when referring to the tenants. She's not treating them as people, she's treating them as objects kind of. I wish there was a different person in there and they didn't have some staffing issues because that would be a wonderful place. The rooms were fine. We saw a one-bedroom with a living room. But the way they had that set up, they had the bed right when you first walked in and the living room in the back. The staff said that most of the residents, instead of having the bedroom in the back where the windows are, would have it in the front, so when you first walk in, it just felt awkward because the closet was in that back room. The front room is kind of dark. However, they completely go in and replace the carpet, repaint, and everything before the new tenant moves in. One of the rooms had a kitchenette thing, and they do demonstrations there, which I thought was kind of fun. They are coming to do demonstrations. They have all kinds of activities. They have somebody that's in charge of the activities and they have different things going. Every day they have something scheduled, which was nice.

The Lodge at Grand Junction facility itself was beautiful, and the staff, Jessica was just amazing. They have full-on memory care but we saw the assisted living area. The rooms have a kitchenette with no stove. They have an enclosed courtyard.

The Lodge at Grand Junction seemed nice, but there were not very many people there, it was super quiet. I think it's because of COVID, it's hard for them to keep people there. It's right on the main road, so the back windows are right against the main road, and there are no balconies or anything for people to go out on. It isn't very homey. The apartments are super tiny for the money. The few people that I saw were nice though. The facility was pretty spotless; it's probably because there's hardly anybody there. They had their amenities closed down because of COVID, so there wasn't much to look at or do. It's very small but clean. They also had a little courtyard and an exercise room.

The Lodge at Grand Junction was amazing. It's a beautiful new facility, I love their rooms and outdoor areas, and they had nice patios. Everybody that I came in contact with was really good and helpful and wanting mom to come. I like the way their memory care unit was set up. It's a lot smaller and more intimate, and the dining area was better. They're going for extreme care. I liked it the best out of every place I've been. They have assisted and memory care.
