My father-in-law was in Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley for a month. We like the inclusivity, the facility had a lot of options and the ability to modify things if you needed to. They had a lot of services if you needed them, not medical interventions but independent options. So if you needed rides, if you needed a blood pressure check, or if you needed your meals delivered for an additional cost to your room. The rooms were a good size. They had three different options for floor plans for each size like a studio, 1-bedroom, or 2-bedroom and then they had the seperate cottage. The food was wonderful, they had a lot of different great things going on and they had a great staff as well. They offer housekeeping services, but during the 30 days that he was there, they never came to clean his room. The housekeeping staff never came in. They give you a menu during the week and give you plenty of options. You can circle and pick which kind of meals you would like and if you don't like their options, you can order a burger or something like that. So they give them an option of what they would like. They have games, pool tables, puzzles, a movie theater, and outings for activities. They had a bus that they take people out on the outside, they took them around town. They had dancing, they brought people in to sing, they had aerobics and other things downstairs, and they played bingo. They arranged a lot of activities down in the main activity room. It was a two-level facility, or three levels in some parts, depending on what hallway you were in.

Smokers do not follow the rules here! They are supposed to be 80 feet from the building to smoke. The guy next door to me continually smokes on his patio . His cigarette smokes makes it to where I can hardly breath. Other smokers smoke wherever they want early in the mornings and in the evenings when staff aren’t around.. When I complain, all I get is that they will talk to them.

We're aiming at moving into Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley. They're in the middle of a renovation. The staff that gave the tour did their job very well. They've got a library, exercise equipment, game rooms, nice walking paths, and an outdoor area. They're putting in new carpet, painting walls, and redecorating or reinstalling some stuff. It's located very close to St. Mary's Hospital, it's very close to a hospice, and very close to restaurants.

I chose Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley. We had lunch there and we just liked it. It's a small group. It's not a large community. They're doing a million-dollar renovation, which kind of sounded nice, too. They have everything that I wanted. Everything looked very clean and very nice. They have a lot of activities. They play cards. The lady during the tour was wonderful, she was really good, and we liked her very much. They have exercise every morning, and movies.

Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley was beautiful. They have lots of things for them to do and the staff was so friendly. The apartment where my in-laws are gonna be is beautiful because it overlooks the gazebo and the grounds are beautiful. There are lots of stuff like that. The staff during the tour was phenomenal. She was enthusiastic, showed us everything, and talked about all the available different things. I went because my husband wasn't able to and so I asked if we could come back on Saturday and she's like, "Just come back," so we went back again and my husband looked through the whole thing. It was great. The rooms were very well maintained. They redo them when somebody moves out. They paint or they may put new carpet in. The one that my in-laws are going into is the two-bedroom two-bath, which is perfect for them. Cable and wi-fi and all that stuff is part of it which is nice, too. This is just a senior living place, so if they need extra care, we will contract that out. I've read the menu and it looked fabulous. They have regular food and every day they have some specials that you can eat and the dining room was very nice. It looks like you went to a restaurant and they come over and they ask you what you want and then they go back and they get it. They have activities. They take them out, they have exercise classes, they do bingo, they have movie nights, and they have church services that people can go to.

I went to Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley last month. It was very nice. They have activities and three meals a day, housekeeping a couple of times a week, the laundry facility, and hairdressers. The layout was very nice. We just looked at the studios and they are fairly good-sized, they have small up to bigger and they're nice.

Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley is a wonderful community with very helpful people. My parents are looking forward to making new friends there. The staff is very responsive and immediately help take care of any issues. My parents have a two-bedroom apartment, but the place has studios or little cottages as well. There's housekeeping services, lots of activities like puzzles and games, organized trips and excursions, whatever the residents want. They're very amenable to making requests happen. They have a dining room so you can have your meals there or you can bring them back to your apartment. They also have an exercise room and a laundry place if you want to do it yourself.

Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley was a nice and pretty new facility. There were a lot of people there. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The dining area was very clean and very well organized. All the dining, laundry, and housecleaning services were included. I was looking for a disabled facility and they were pretty good on that front, but the price was too high.

It is nice. It’s almost all apartments as opposed to rooms in a facility. Very tidy, and the staff was very helpful and caring. When I joined her for meals sometimes the chef that prepared the meals were coming out and inquiring about how they like it; I thought that was nice. They had activities and artists coming in to entertain. She had a 2-bedroom with a balcony, really nice.

My sister-in-law is here. It's not assisted living but it's retirement. We were invited to go and have lunch at New Year's Eve. They served us a beautiful lunch and we just really liked it. It's all inclusive, they have three meals a day plus snacks. They'll take you to your doctor, to any appointments, to the stores. Someone comes in and cleans once a week. They do their own laundry and there are laundry facilities on each floor. They all have either a little necklace or a bracelet with a button on it that if there's any emergencies or if they can't find them, they're able to find them on the grounds. They have exercise classes, book reading classes, they get on buses and when the weather is good like in the summer, they do road trips, bingo, movie night, numerous different things. She has a little apartment all of her own and the building is beautiful, wide hallways, just really well done.
