I have been informed about late meal times. It is unacceptable because there are residents that need to take meds with food and when it is late it messes with their schedule. Lunch at 3:00 p.m on one of the days and dinner as late as 7:30 p.m is also unacceptable because some residents go to bed early and when they need meds with food, once again it messes with their system and schedule. As for staff, most of them are great when they are there but most of the time they are short handed. When people work in this kind of place it needs to be because they want to help not just for a paycheck. How would you like it if your loved one was in a home that was being ran like this.

My aunt was at Larchwood Inn for 49 days for rehab, and it's so much better than where she was at. The staff was very good. The rooms were nicely appointed, upscale, and beautiful. She had a room to herself with a window and individual control over her heat and cooling.

My wife went here for physical rehab after breaking her ankle. The rooms are closet rooms with 2 sharing one. The night staff sleep all over the furniture in the lobby and it is almost impossible to locate a nurse overnight. The only physical therapy she got was for her arms, not legs as needed. And the kicker...we could have had better care from home health care but did not know that at the time. We tell everyone that we know who is considering this place to stay away.

My mother was very happy in Larchwood Inns. The care was wonderful, and the service was great. Unlike a lot of places, the food was very good, and she's pretty picky. We liked pretty much everything. The physical therapy staff was top notch, and they really took care of people. The nursing staff, housekeeping staff, and everybody was just wonderful. My mom didn't participate, but they did have a lot of activities. We saw musical groups in there all of the time performing for the residents.

I’m not impressed with Larchwood Inns at all. My mom doesn't want to be there. I think the staff is fine, but they’re understaffed. I called one night and the switchboard operator answered, and she had to be the one to go down to my mom’s room because there was nobody else. The room she’s in now is very small; she shares it with another lady. It’s institution food, nothing like what you’d cook at home, and they bring it in a van. They have some good activities going on, but overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. In 2015, PARC Rehab combined with Larchwood Inns so right now, they’re associated closely together. PARC Rehabilitation has a very good reputation for rehab. I like the people who doing Mom’s restorative rehab. They have good people, but it’s not the best place for your family. She had rehabbed all the way, but the day before she could get out, she had another stroke, and they waited eight hours to take her to the hospital.

Larchwood Inns is very clean and very well run. My mother-in-law was in there, and it was just a very nice nursing home. The staff was great and very efficient.

I had to put my sister in a long term care facility. Her choice was Larchwood inns. It was always clean and the food was nice. she had a choice of what she wanted to eat. the actitives were always doing things with her and she loved it there. I recomend it to any one that has a loved one that had to go some place to be safe and well cared for. nurses always looked after my sister and she was very well cared for. she loved the staff and the staff loved her also. what a pleasant place for my sister to go to. they made her last 5 years of life the best that she could have had.

My mom is ok now and is staying at home. We didn't have to put her in an Assisted Living facility at this time. The place was actually nice. It might not look updated like the other facility we visited but it was nice. All of the people there are friendly. The rooms were a little smaller than what we were looking for.
