My father-in-law recently moved into Spring Creek. You can imagine this was a difficult transition, but the staff really did do everything they could to make him comfortable and to accommodate his needs. (He is getting bed sores and they got him a special mattress which changes the pressure points. Also, he is vegetarian. The meals, so far have looked appetizing and they have certainly been balanced. Also he doesn't watch TV, so they are trying to keep him in a room by himself as most other residents do). The staff were attentive and though the building is old, it is clean.

My sister was at Spring Creek for the last 3 months of her life. One reason we chose Spring Creek over others was because they have a wide range of ages in their population and my sister was in her mid sixties. It's been my observation that every nursing or rehab facility is understaffed and overworked, and Spring Creek was no exception. But most staff members are caring, hard working wonderful people and they provided my sister with a level of care she could never have received at home. It's really hard when a loved one needs nursing care and I'm sure my sister was not the only one who hated losing her independence. Honestly I don't know how the staff does such a good job with the diverse needs of residents and I never saw anyone lose their temper or scold a resident who was having a meltdown. I would recommend Spring Creek because of its staff and the wide range of needs that they can accommodate.

I felt that the staff at Spring Creek provided excellent care for my mother in law. It was a very rough process getting her to agree to live in a nursing home, but the staff at Spring Creek made her feel welcome and loved. No nursing home is perfect and there are going to be issues every once and a while. I felt like the staff and the new administrator were very attentive and responsive to my questions and concerns. Originally my mother in law was going to go to Spring Creek for rehab, but ended up not being safe at home. I don't know what my family would have done without the direction, care, and compassion from their staff. My mother and law has since passed away, but I appericate the dedication the staff showed to her care.

For over 7 years my husband lived at Springcreek after a brain injury suffered in an accident. The building is old and maintained based on a very tight budget. Staff is overworked and underpaid causing very high turnover, and less than adequate care. In all fairness, the staff who has been there the longest are dedicated and caring. The food is very unappetizing and at times inadequate as to serving size. There have been 3- 4 administrators in the last six months, causing much confusion, poor service due to lack of leadership. If you are looking for a place for you or your loved one, look elsewhere. Find a not for profit facility, that is less concerned with their bottom line and more concerned about their residents.

I strongly adise AGAINST the use of this facility. I was a patient there, but I lived through it because I DEMANDED to be released from there. It is a horrible, depressing staff that does not have adequate medically certified personnel. I vegetated there. I got sicker and depressed there. I probably had a law suit, but did not want to deal with a ny of them again. Only want to warn the general public.

My sister is in a nursing home called Spring Creek. We chose this one because it was one of the few that were available at the time we needed it and it was the one that she could afford. The facility is nice and homey. The staff is okay; they are nice. Their rooms are cleaned daily. I didn't eat there but I did sit with her when she eats lunch and I thought they were the same everywhere, like hospital food. Right now she is not doing much of anything other than her therapy. She just wants to watch TV all day. However, they do have activities going on. They have folks coming in and they have movie days. She does get out and get her hair done. They had kids around for Halloween, she did participate that, but overall in terms of activities, she is not doing a whole lot. As a whole though, they're really good and we like Spring Creek. I would recommend it if they could afford it.

Spring Creek Nursing home is a great nursing home not the best I am sure but it qualifies for what my Grandma needs. The Facility is very well kept and maintained, it has a nice lounge with a huge bird cage for viewing, It has an outdoor area in which has flowers a gazebo and a good relaxing scenery. Also the Facility offers many activities such as crafts and even Church. Besides that I think that the staff works hard at what they do but some things could be better, don't get me wrong they work hard but I feel that my Grandma's hygiene and cleanliness is not satisfactory. She needs to be assisted with brushing her teeth and that has not been taken care of very well. Also several things my family has bought for her room has disappeared. Although I have mentioned a few bad things. I can say stuff like this can happen as they are very busy. Overall Spring Creek Nursing home is a very acceptable place for the elderly or disabled. I hope this review has helped.

Spring Creek is a nice, homey facility, with some pleasant gathering areas and helpful staff. Like many nursing facilities, it seems that direct care staff could be increased, simply because of the length of time that calls sounded without being answered. The residents I've spoken to at the facility echo this, having good impressions of the staff in general, but talking about the availability of staff and speed of response sometimes lacking. At least one resident with whom I've spoken has had great trouble getting to see a needed medical specialist. A recent complete turnover of social work staff was confounding, as well.
