We went to Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. We loved the building. We loved the dining room. We were impressed with the staff and the facility. My mother, however, didn't like the room. It was listed as a one-bedroom, but it was almost a studio, because there was no door to the bedroom. It was wide open with the bed off to the side in this alcove. My mother wanted more space, more delineation between the bedroom and the rest of the room, and she wanted a kitchenette. The facility was beautiful. It's just the living situation my mother wanted was different. The food was good. Because we were late in the day, they didn't have as many choices. We liked the grounds. We liked everything but the room itself. There was a lot of light. For somebody else, the room may have been perfect. It just wasn't for my mother. The staff was very organized and on top of things, especially because she was new.

Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care appeared to be OK. Rebecca was friendly and positive. She was very thorough in explaining and showing us the property, and what was available. The reason why we didn't do it for Dad was because it was large, and the hallways would be too complicated for him to navigate. They're on 11 acres and you're allowed to walk around outside on the acreage.

I went to visit Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was a beautiful place. The grounds were fabulous. It was on 11 acres. All of the wings were joined together, which was nice. There were just a few apartments in each little section, which allowed for a little more privacy. The dining room was nice. I was able to see a group of people doing an exercise class, and it was very well attended. Almost every chair was full, which says something about the class and the people that they invite. People like to participate. It was very clean. This place was a lot newer, and so it has that going for it. They had all of these little courtyards that were accessible. It just had a really nice view. You could actually see the mountains from a couple of spots. The staff who gave the tour was very nice and very helpful explaining what happens with people that can afford to pay the full price and what happens if people can't afford to pay. There were options that were helpful to know. I saw one studio that was very nice. It had a little alcove for the bed, a little sitting area, and the restroom. There was no kitchenette in that one. Although she told me that you could set up a kitchenette if you wanted to, with a microwave, refrigerator, and that kind of thing. Then we looked at another one that had a kitchenette and a nicer bathroom, but it only had one room. If you had a bed in there, you would only have room for maybe a couple of chairs. It was a little bit less workable for two people. The dining area was beautiful with windows all around, so you could enjoy the view while eating. They also have lots of outdoor spaces at this location.

Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care was gorgeous. It looked like a lodge. It was clean, spacious, and open. They also had a lodge-style restaurant that was open and beautiful. The lady we met there was very, very nice. They had activities such as exercises and games. At that time, they had an exercise going on, so there was a room full of people that were getting ready to work out.

Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care was very well-kept, and the layout was really nice and easy to navigate. The residents seemed extremely happy there. The staff was great. She was so helpful. Even though they don't have a room, she gave me some resources to help me find a place, so she was super helpful. They have a salon, too.

My mother was at Collinwood for nearly 2 years. The staff, especially the "seasoned" staff, were remarkable. They were efficient, caring, sensitive, and professional. They were especially attuned to my mother's particular needs. My mother had not been receptive to caregivers until then, but she loved the Collinwood staff from the minute she got there. The administrative staff were patient, caring, and helpful. I never once had any concerns that my mother was receiving the best care possible. The rooms were kept clean; the common spaces are lovely; and the ability to go outside into a big lovely space was wonderful for my mother. The food was very good and the chef would prepare anything my mother wanted any time she wanted it! My mother never wanted to participate in any of the activities, but there were plenty of them and seemed to be enjoyed by many of the residents. They also bring in outside activities relatively frequently. Whenever my mother needed to be taken to an appointment, it was arranged for and carried out efficiently and always on time by very caring staff.

I was very impressed with Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was very clean. There's no smell and climate-wise, it was comfortably cool. They got good menus, like several other meal options that I can choose from if I want to. I was impressed with the size of the one-bedroom. It was made up of two rooms. There's a bedroom and a living room. It's 410 square feet, which is almost half the size of the condo I'm living in now, so it will give me more room to work on a couple of hobbies I have. They don't have a central library, but they have books. It's a large facility. It's on 15 acres of land and they connected all the four buildings with hallways. In each of the four buildings, there are areas of reading material and a centralized seating area. There are lots of wide hallways to walk in, which is important to me because I enjoy walking. In the summertime, if I don't want to get out, I can just walk three or four miles inside the building. From their schedule, it looks like there are plenty of planned activities if people want to participate, which is nice. They have Yahtzee and bingo, and when I was there, an instructor was teaching the residents how to do some paintings.

I toured Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. I would describe it as pretty much as good as the other facility. It looked like they offered all the same things; it was just a little bit farther from where I live, and the price was just a little bit higher on the room. So that was the influence of why I didn't choose it. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable. The dining area looked good. I liked the room there, and he liked it, too. He probably liked that room a little bit better. It was mainly one big room that had one porch. There were a certain number of cabinets and a sink, a microwave, and a little refrigerator. And then a larger living area where his bed, TV, and a chair could go. I didn't see any problem with the upkeep. The place looked clean and well-maintained to me.

We toured Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care, and it's our first choice. It had a large-type feel to it. It's very clean, and the staff was organized. It just looks like a good option for my mother. We toured both assisted living and memory care. The staff was organized, well-informed, and answered all of our questions. The facility was very clean with good upkeep, and it has a lodge like feel. It doesn't feel like a nursing home.

I went and toured Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. I liked the facility and I feel that my mother would be comfortable there. The building itself is comfortable, the dining area is wonderful, the people are nice and the facility was nice. The property is at the location where there were lots of places like outdoors for sitting. The apartments were nice, clean, and comfortable. They have a salon, they have the dining room, they have a library and they have a game room and television.

Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care looked clean and people looked well cared for. They had nice little patio areas. For people with memory care, getting lost outside is a worry so they had these nice little patio areas where they could go outside, but not out in the open as they are enclosed. The staff was nice and very willing to show me around and answer any of my questions. They talked to me about what was going on, what they're doing during the pandemic, and how they're going to help people to still be able to socialize and take care of people's safety too. I saw the menu and the dining area, and it's very nice. It was pretty open and you had lots of choices to eat and lots of places if you wanted to sit. People could get together at small tables and talk so it looked very inviting. It looked like they were actively taking care of the buildings. They looked clean and well taken care of and maintenance people were there repairing and cleaning the apartments so it looked like it was well cared for. They have this nice custom bathtub that you could sit in and then it tilts back so that you don't have to climb into it. It's nice and it reclines.

We went to look at Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. When I looked at that place, I would consider that an average facility at best. This place didn't appear all that great. It wasn't very clean. It showed that it was aged. The exterior of the property was very mature and beautiful, but the interior of the facility itself was dirty, and the prices were unaffordable. I will also say this was like over a two-year waiting list. It was a waste of my time to even speak to those people. The lady who gave us a tour seemed like she wasn't really now knowledgeable of payments and dealing with the insurance. She had a broad understanding of it, but when we were asking details, she wasn't able to answer those questions.

I went to Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care last week. It was a very nice facility. We spoke with the executive director, who was very knowledgeable. The staff were very attentive to the residents. They had more staff on the memory care side (which was nice to see) because it's obviously a higher level of care. The layout of the rooms was good. They had nice walking trails for assisted living and the shared rooms were okay. They did not have separate bedrooms. It was just kind of a half wall between the rooms; it didn't provide as much privacy as I would have thought. The bathrooms were a nice size to be able to move around with a walker or a wheelchair. The residents were engaged. They had a lot of activities going on. They had a beauty salon and activity rooms, so they had TV and games available. They had shuttle service at least once a week to take the assisted living residents to different stores.

My mom is at Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. It is very friendly, and it has the feel of like a resort or a lodge. They have very open, big windows, and is clean and welcoming. The staff are very helpful and full of good information. They are very kind and caring. They're very nice. I'm really happy with the room that my mom got. They have a really nice amount of activities, schedule, and resources. They've got great resources. They are doing Wii bowling, and they have daily devotions which is a really big deal to us. I think I saw some kind of a group game that they had. The activity director was leading some kind of a group game with several of the people in the circle. It smells good; that was a big deal when it smells. The dining room is like a restaurant. They can sit down any time and order something. They've got coffee available. It definitely was one of the least expensive places we found, and I am so happy with it.

Collinwood was a nice facility, but the one-bedroom we saw was about 300 square feet -- or maybe less. It was really, really small, and that wasn't going to work for my mother. I thought the visit was really nice, though. They were very receptive to showing us around. The facility was very nice, and I liked it. However, of the three places that I went to, it was the most expensive, and it had the smallest rooms. That combination didn't work for us. They did a good job showing us around, asking for our needs, and trying to provide for our needs. It just didn't meet our needs.

We checked out Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care, and we were going to transfer my mother-in-law there, but it was determined that it wasn't a good fit for her because she needed more care, which is skilled nursing care. It was a very good visiting experience. The staff was very kind, helpful, and gave us the answers we needed. The rooms were very bright and had lots of nice sunlight. The facilities were maintained very well and looked comfortable and homey.

I went to Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care and what I saw was good, but they didn't have any available rooms at the time. The dining area was an open cafeteria type and they will make you a special order like in a restaurant. They're open from 7:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night, and you can go in at any time. They had a lot of activities and a lot of area to do activities in.

My mom is doing really well at Collinwood. It's very clean and the people who work there are extremely nice and caring. They helped in any way they possibly could to get things together and get Mom in there and make her comfortable. I'm totally happy with it. Theyve been checking on her and keeping a close eye on her. They help you with anything you need. It's been a really great experience. They have ball games like bowling, exercise, and field trips, which she totally enjoyed. They watch movies every night together as a group, which is very nice. My mom has a private studio, which is big enough for a queen-sized bed, a little table, and a nice-sized dresser. There's plenty of room in it and has a private bath. There's a girl who comes in and cleans once a week. If they need more than that, they'll also do that, and they will also do laundry with Mom's own soap so we don't have problems with allergies. The meals have been really good.

Collinwood Assisted Living was a very nice facility, and we were impressed that it was at the assisted living and memory care level. The rooms were rather small. I dont think they need to improve anything, but I dont think were totally ready for the purpose they had. They have a lot of activities. They were having a special event when we went there.

Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care has independent living apartments and assisted apartments. The place is very plush, it doesn't look like a nursing home, but a resort. The staff member that gave me the tour was very nice, helpful, and professional. They have lots of activities, they have a swimming pool, and I saw some people doing aerobics in the pool. It's an expensive place, but you get a lot for your money, and you're getting what you pay for. It looks like a hotel, but it's not what we were looking for. They have a place where you can get your hair done, and they showed me a 1-bedroom, but it's too tight, which is OK. If only there was just one person

Collinwood was a very nice place. The rooms were quite large, especially for my mother who is going to have to share a room. The rooms were partitioned instead of curtained off, so it gave the impression of a little bit more privacy. Their buildings were very nice, very well kept, and very clean. The dining room was exceptional and run like a first class restaurant. They have a great, big community kitchen. You could prepare meals in a very high tech kitchen that had seating for at least 20 people. They have a small dining room if you wanted to be with your family, as well as a really nice library, and a place where they gather to watch TV. Their program was really nice. They have a music night where the residents get their instruments out and play music. They also have other musicians come in from the Fort Collins area. They have a book club, movie night, and the common areas outside are just spectacular. They have a great, big open space area with manicured lawns and concrete walkways so that people in wheelchairs or walkers could very easily negotiate that large, open area. There were multiple options to walk around, nice tree canopies, and open areas. The grass was all very nicely groomed and the grounds were taken care of really well. I was really impressed with their menu. The great thing about their dining room was from 7:00 in the morning until 7:00 at night, the residents could come in and sit down at the table and somebody would come and take their order, so they could pretty much eat on demand. The menu was a lot narrower in the off hours, but there was certainly plenty of variety there. The staff was very good, very kind, very informative, and showed me everything that I needed to.

I liked Collinwood a lot, but they're full. I liked their activities and how they interacted with people. They took them on trips and was Christian-based. It looked like they would accommodate different people with their food. It looked like they had a good accommodation for people with memory care and for different individual habits. There were lots of opportunities for people to do things, like music, excursions, walks, and therapy.

The one that I'm thinking that my mom would have picked for herself is Collinwood. It seemed very clean and very home-like. The staff was very friendly with the residents. The staff knew them well.

My mother is in Collinwood Assisted Living. It is a very positive experience. The staff is very professional and very kind. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The décor is very comfortable and homelike. I am very pleased with it. She is in a one-room apartment and it is very adequate for her. She likes it a lot. She has her own private bathroom with a shower. There must be five or six activities a day that she can choose from. She goes to at least one of them a day. The food is very nutritious, well balanced, and plentiful, and she seems to like it. I eat there, and it is good. The dining hall is extremely comfortable. It is spacious with high ceiling and big windows. It is just a great environment.
