Crossroads at Delta is a wonderful place. We're in the independent living. I like everything about it. The staff is great. I have a two-bedroom apartment and it's wonderful, very roomy, and spacious. They have programs and outings that you can join. They have a little bus that takes people to WalMart once in a while. They've got a room where people can come in and watch TV. They've got plenty of space and you can bring visitors and have privacy. It's pretty expensive. They had Father's Day and Mother's Day activities. They provide one meal a day and you have to pay extra if you want more than that. They have cleaning services every week.

We chose Crossroads at Delta ALF for my father because it was available right away. There are very few people in there, but they have a lot of helpers. It's a new place that fits the needs of my father. He's only been there for a couple of weeks now. They serve three meals a day including snacks. The staff is extremely helpful. They bring in different activities and sometimes they go out for walks. The cost is average compared to every other place in the area.

Crossroads is a very nice, extremely well-kept facility with good personnel. The food service is very good, and the recreation service is good. It has been a good experience, so far. They have a main building with 30 or 40 rooms, most of which are private but some are semi-private two-bedrooms with a single bath. Outside of that are apartments or cottages that are brand new.

I visited Crossroads Assisted Living and it's a very fine place, I like it. I also like the staff. The facility is really nice. I don’t have any negative just to comment on Crossroads. I met the director and the sales manager and they were all great. They have a whole bunch of activities. I would go ahead and recommend them place to anyone.

Well first off, the reason we felt the need to move my grandmother to such a facility is that she was living by herself for a long time. As a 94 year old quickly losing eyesight and mobility this does not work well at all.The facility fits the needs of wanting to still be independent, which was the main hold on her not wanting to leave the house of 50+ years. There is separate housing at Crossroads, is I suppose you would call it, that has furniture and some semblance of a home still (basically the size of small apartment for one). In addition to the residence there is the main area where they are more than encouraged, forced basically, to meet up at. Meals are there, activities and of course other people her age that she can relate with instead of being completely alone. The assistance provide is quite comprehensive. Before she had moved to the facility she needed to have professional care, I believe it was called Helping Hands, come in every morning and afternoon to help her out of bed, get cleaned, eat, etc. Now at the current facility there is some schedule of all that for one of them to come in and help in the morning then take her over to the main area and back. Also the whole facility is extremely close to a Hospital so any type of serious issues can be taken care of quite swiftly thanks to in house staff and a trip to the Hospital if need be.Negatives, I suppose one of the major drawbacks of this type of facility is the distance of housing to the group area. She is unable to make the journey her self so without assistance, which at times she is quite reluctant to ask for, she will stay alone in her housing area. It is one of the trade-offs of wanting independence but still there should be a better way to go about it I would think. The activities are also pretty limited for them. Yes there is some exercising and people to talk to but I would think there could be more effort put into keeping their minds busy. The town of Delta does not have much for them to travel to do, so I was expecting more in the way of constant/different games going on. Or I may have just visited at wrong times. From the few times I was there visiting and previously checking it out those working there were professional and courteous. The outside area looked very nice and maintained. I don't know what else to say, hope this helps.
