My sister has been a resident at Popas for 8 months and is happy there. Popas is a nice group home where caregivers know their occupants well and provide individual care for each person. She shares her room and they have a sink and commode just off their room. During nice weather residents go outside in their back yard and can walk in black forest behind their home. The staff are able to help residents with their own specific needs. I have found that Popas is a good fit for my sister and all of her needs are taken care of well.

My in-laws are moving into the Home Care at Popa's. The place is workable. It's customizable to our wants within memory care standards, so that told us how we can get what we desire that we weren't getting at the other places. The staff gave us ideas of what we may want to do for their living space, and we're excited to get to paint and do customizable touches that will make them feel at home. The staff was lovely. The place we're going on the lower level needs work and we get to do it. But up top where the clients are, for the other part, it was very nice. It's well cared for and updated to current standards of homes. We did not try the food, but we saw them making dinner and it looked like something our parents would like.

I went to look at Home Care at Popa's. My mom would have to share a room with somebody, and there was one bathroom for maybe five of them. What I liked about it was the price was good. It was clean and smelled fine. It was small and intimate. Also, there are steps from the bedrooms to where you go downstairs to eat. And I thought, how are you going to do that with a walker? I guess they have to help everybody. There are like five steps. It's a split-level house that they converted. I think for some people, it would be lovely. It didn't quite seem to be a good fit for my mom because of sharing the bedroom, sharing the bathroom, and the steps. I saw them watching television, and that's all I saw.
