We're moving my father into Legend of Broomfield. It was close to my brother and me. What also stood out to me was the size of the room that was available and the convenience of where it was located. Dining is restaurant-style dining where they go down and order from a menu. They have a walking path, a sunroom, and a theater where they do movie nights. There are some activities, too. The place was very clean.

Legend of Broomfield was beautiful, and the people were really helpful. It was more like going to a really expensive hotel. I like the lobby area and the check-in was easy to get to. The rooms were beautiful. They are apartments and they are not rooms. They don't do double clients in one area. It's just single. They have a lot of activities. They probably had three open areas in the lobby that's really big. You can sit in comfortable chairs and watch a big-screen TV.

Legend of Broomfield was a beautiful facility. It had lots of outdoor spaces. It had the most rooms, a much bigger veterans wall, and Joan seemed to listen and really understand. It was nicely decorated and pretty up to date. I felt like it met all our needs, and added services can be used as the person needs it. Lots of amenities, lots of classes, and fun things for the residents. Everybody seemed happy as the woman was walking around, she knew everybody's name, and even knew the staff people's names, and she seemed to really have her finger on the pulse of the community. She gave me the most delicious brownie I've ever had. It was transcendent. It was delicious, and she got it from the kitchen and gave me her card on top of the brownie box. It had a lot of parking on the outside, and it was accessible.

I like Legend of Broomfield. I liked the fact that it was clean, it was well-lit, it was comfortable, it was homey, and it was easy access for the people living there. The grounds were beautiful. The people who assisted me were fine. Jessica was the one who gave me the tour, and she was very informative, very kind, and very thorough. She answered my questions. They only had a couple of rooms available, but overall she was very pleasant. They were just a little bit above my cost budget. However, for what they had to offer, they weren't outrageous in their prices like the other one was. They had an in-yard courtyard, which was beautiful.

Legend of Broomfield was very, very nice. Spencer, their director of sales, still reaches out to me to assist us in any way possible. They had lovely amenities, like a really nice dining room and a restaurant where the residents can order off the menu. The building was spotless and the rooms were very, very nice. They had a lot of activities for the residents. They also had a standalone kitchen where their residents could host dinners for families or people that come over.

I went to the Legend of Broomfield yesterday. I was impressed with the facility until I talked to two residents and their families, and then I found out that things were not as they appear to be. There's been a significant increase in rent about 18% in the last year, a high staff turnover, and dissatisfaction with being able to get answers to the questions and concerns. So, it won't be on my list at this point in time. It was homey in the assisted living, but there was a marked change between the assisted living portion and the memory care portion. I met one employee and she was friendly. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. Unfortunately, the residents were all in front of televisions. They have standard apartments, salon and courtyard. I liked the walk-in spa/tub, and there was a gym.

I was able to visit Legend of Broomfield, which is really good, but my grandpa doesn't have a real desire to move from where he is at right now, so we are letting him stay there. He likes Legend of Broomfield but he just needs time to process, and he doesn't want a whole bunch of change right now, but he will probably want to move there in a couple of months or so, probably by the end of the year. The facility is very nice. It is a brand-new building. They have a really good dining area, lots of amenities, and a good courtyard. The staff members were very helpful.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! There are too many instances to list on how bad our experience was with Legend. They have the rudest staff I have ever encountered (Dennis, Erika, Jessica, Carmel, even the corporate offices...the list goes on) They straight up lied us on multiple occasions and then tried to cover it up. Upon moving out, my loved one's room was disgusting. Moldy food containers were found around the room and it looked like nothing had been wiped down or cleaned in months. (We have pictures) Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of Legend of Broomfield. We could not get out of there fast enough. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE

Legend of Broomfield has been doing a great job in protecting their residents from covid19. This includes making families of residents aware of how they can help with this objective. This eases our concerns as the level of success proves the process is working.

We placed my father-in-law in Legend of Broomfield. It is one of the nicest places we have in the area. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. The cost is within our wheelhouse as far as what we were looking for. It is also 10 minutes from our house. I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years, and it is one of the nicest places I have ever been in. My father-in-law has been there for over a month or so. The dining area is one of the nicest ones I have ever seen. If you didn't know you're in an assisted living center, you would think you're probably in some nice restaurant somewhere. The food is excellent, too. Obviously most of the activities have been cancelled because people are quarantined, but they do everything from scenic drives to museum visits. They go up to the mountains in Colorado, they go to the Central City, and they go to the rec center which is five minutes away. They do art activities, they go to Bronco games, and they have music activities. Pretty much anything you can think of that is creative, they get people involved. For the value of money, it is not the most inexpensive, but it is not the most expensive. It is also in the middle of the road.
